Hey there!
Gabby here! I try to be friendly and present (and seeing as I'm the resident high schooler, I usually am), so feel free to contact me for help! Some of my favorite canons on the list are Sherlock Holmes, Frankenstein and Hamlet - but I also love all kinds of musicals and I adore having a good chat with anyone 'bout anything. If you need help / have questions about advertising, I'm in charge of that. I hope you'll join and have fun!!

Greetings!
Hello! -waves- I'm Nessie, RC's resident ginger-haired Scot - this means I may be online at odd times for those of you across the pond! I say my specialities are Austen, Dickens and Shakespeare but considering the majority of my characters are Shakespearean, you be the judge of my knowledge, haha. I'm happy to help with any questions you may have - I'm usually on RC every day and I hope you have a fantastic time here!(:

Hello everyone!
I'm Kay, college student and future English teacher: unfortunately that means I'm in and out randomly because of school work until summer break. I'm a big Greek Mythology buff and I do enjoy the Bronte sisters, Hugo, Dickens, Austen, Shakespeare, and so on. If you have any questions, feel free to send me a pm, and I hope you enjoy Rewritten City as much as I do <3

SETTING THE SCENE Come here to request an avatar or signature! If you want to make graphics for people, don't hesitate to make your own graphic shop. You can also find some other RC-related beauties here.
PARKS & GARDENS Central Park is one of the most famous in NYC with beautiful trees and trails. There are plenty of playgrounds for children and quiet places to read. Picnics in our parks are perfect for a date! There's also beautiful gardens to explore, like the NY Botanical Gardens.
FOOD & DINING NY has some of the world's most renowned chef's! Try a dish at the Four Seasons, or if that's a little to flashy, try the Hard Rock Cafe or any fast food chain you can think of.
ENTERTAINMENT & TOURISM (1 sub-board) New York is full of things to see, places to go, things to do and people to meet! Go bowling, see a movie, visit an art gallery or museum, anything to keep your mind busy.
WALL STREET & GOVERNMENTAL: SHOPS, OFFICES, AND POLITICS! (1 sub-board) Get a dose of NYC politics at city hall, the courthouses or judicial offices - maybe you'll meet Mayor Tormei! Or take a walk down wall street and see our busy financial district, full of large and famous corporations. But hey, if spending is more your thing, wall street's also full of shops and businesses as well as your favorite brand name stores.
GENERAL MANHATTAN If you live in Manhattan, you just might be one of the famous Capulets or Montagues! Maybe instead you reside in Soho or another neighborhood right in the midst of activity and culture! Manhattan's also home to innumerable shops, attractions and landmarks as the commercial hub of NYC.
THE NIGHT LIFE (1 sub-board) Don't worry, I'm giving you the tourist rendition, but in reality, New York is still chock full of the sinful delirium that we all know and love. Visit its night clubs, dance clubs, comedy clubs, lounges, bars and pubs!
FROM STREETS TO SHORE (1 sub-board) If you take a walk down the streets of NYC, you'll be able to capture the city's diversity. You might run into festivals, crime, musicians, the homeless, the good and the bad. Walk - or ride - far enough and you'll reach some wonderful beaches, no matter what your recreation of choice. Maybe you like to surf, suntan, go boating or fishing. Its not hard to have a good time!
RELIGIOUS PLACES NYC has a diverse demographic, all with different faiths and creeds. You can visit a church, even a mega one, or a synagogue or any place of worship. We also have the most famous cemeteries in America, with beautiful memories that hold some of the most well known to the most missed.
SCHOOLS & LIBRARIES (1 sub-board) New York City has many schools, from public to private - not that any of us want to relive our high school years. People continue their education at our universities and colleges, including NYU!
GREENWICH VILLAGE & OTHER RESIDENTIAL (1 sub-board) Maybe you live in Greenwich Village, the place to escape Manhattan's crowded streets and go back to the West Villiage where there are small independent shops and welcoming area for the LGBT community. Or maybe you're a resident of the musically historical Harlem, or the most populated and diverse borough of NYC: Brooklyn. Perhaps you even live on Staten or the gang ridden Windrixville.
EVERYWHERE ELSE... AND CROSSING CITY LIMITS There are so many places to go in NYC that I haven't mentioned yet, so don't be afraid to check those places out. You might want to go somewhere else, but after seeing NYC, who would?
HELLO, GOODBYE Don't be shy! Come here to introduce yourself if you're a new or returning member! Or, post here if you're leaving or need to notify us of a leave of absence.
LA LA LAND This is our crack rp section, for silly, humorous threads, or for threads you would like to have no baring on the actual RP. Note: Post count will not be increased by posting in this board. Post length rule is lifted in this section.
