Play By: Keira Knightley
PERSONALITY
General personality: Lizzie loves to laugh. She enjoys being able to find something amusing in every situation that she is put in, whether or not it is embarrassing to her. Usually this habit of finding amusement in everything confuses those who try to insult her, as they can't figure out whether or not they were successful. However, it can also be very bad for her as Lizzie makes a lot of enemies by teasing them and laughing at their faults.
Unfortunately for Lizzie, she is also cursed with a very proud nature. She can't forgive insults easily, which is why she didn't like Mr. Darcy from the beginning. He insulted her and she is too proud to let it go. This pride has hurt her more than once in many different relations, but it has not stopped her from being a pleasant person most of the time.

Occupation: Looking for work

History: Born to a middle class school teacher in Hertfordshire, Elizabeth is the second of five daughters. She was raised as the favorite of her father and least favorite of her mother. Her relationship with her sisters has always been rather difficult unless the sister in question is Jane, whom she adores. They all went to the same school, Jane and Elizabeth doing the best out of all their sisters, even though Mary did do her best to succeed.
When she was barely 21, she met a Mr. Fitzwilliam Darcy, and it was not a good meeting. She was struck by his arrogance and pride and instantly swore that she would loathe him forever. This loathing made her do her best to avoid him whenever she could. The first opportunity that she had, she joined her Aunt and Uncle Gardiner to take her with them on their move to America. Mr. Gardiner had begun to have difficulty finding good cases in his business as a lawyer in London, so he thought to find better work in New York. Elizabeth leaped at the chance, since she had so little to do at home and she was proving to be more of a financial burden than anything. Now she is staying with her aunt and uncle and looking for a job of some sort.
THE SAMPLE
In Character Sample: Lizzie Bennet was the sort of person who did not allow anything to get in the way of her having a good laugh. She loved to find something amusing about anything and everything. Living with her mother and sisters, it was the only way that she could keep herself sane in their company. Heaven forbid that she should let Kitty or Lydia drive her out of her mind.
It was for this exact reason that she was now in New York city, enjoying the rush and excitement of the American life. It was so vibrant and alive compared to Hertfordshire, after all. She loved it more than anything else that she had ever seen! Smiling to herself, Lizzie lifted her skirts and began to jog through the streets.
