The dressing room had been completely turned upside down as Davey was looking for his car keys. He was wearing a pair of tight leather trousers, a red shiny shirt and a leather jacket that one of his friends had given him for a birthday present just this past year. He constantly wore his leather jacket cause he felt as if it was some sort of security blanket. Not being able to find his car keys Davey walked out of the dressing room sighing. He had given up on his search of finding his keys as he walked outside the back alleyway. Looking like a lost puppy Davey placed his back against the side of the building as he pulled out a pack of smokes.
The singer had figured that if the keys hadn't turned up sooner or later that someone would offer him a ride to his flat. Davey never had lost his keys before and now he was missing them. Not only that but his money had been taken from him it wasn't like he couldn't get more. It was just that his credit cards seemed to have disappeared, it was probably that woman he couldn't even remember her name he had been so drunk and out of it. The woman seemed like such a nice girl too but as suddenly as Davey's mind was trying to recollect what happened the other night he heard a few footsteps heading his way. Lighting up his smoke he took a few puffs before looking in the direction of the footsteps were heard.

Sodapop had to get out of the house, there was so much tension between his brothers that Soda couldn't take. He had even tried defending both sides of their stories that time but somehow they didn't manage to see it his way. So he had to get out of there, he didn't have any idea where he was going, he even 'borrowed' some kids scooter and made it into the inner city. He left the scooter a block down from where he started walking and lit a cigarette just moments ago.
He passed by an alleyway and saw a couple of kids drunk as hell and decided to keep walking, he didn't know why people drank he thought alcohol was nasty and swore to god he'd never touch a drop. Soda remembered one night he'd been at a party and his buddy had gotten so drunk he'd pinned Sodapop down and tried to force a can of beer down his throat, he never talked to him again. Alley after alley was basically the same thing, except he stopped by one and noticed a long hair man in a red leather jacket just standing there smoking his cigarette. Soda threw his on the ground and stopped it out, "Hey do I know you from somewhere?" Really how many guys in this city did you see with long hair and leather jackets? The guy had to be a former greaser. He even looked a bit familiar.

Davey looked at the man that addressed him and took a deep breath as he noticed the leather jacket. " Umm...I'm not sure. " He lied hoping that this man wouldn't hurt him. He had enough run-ins with guys in leather jackets that he didn't need to get hurt as he placed himself off the side of the building and stared past the man as he dropped his smoke on the ground to stamp it out. The singer was at least for now sober a bit to realize what he was doing and saying. Davey hated when he was caught off guard and this time he wanted to go back inside but instead he just stood there looking at the man.
" Who are ya and what do ya want?" He asked suddenly paranoid hoping that the man didn't have friends hiding somewhere so that he would get mugged or something worse. Davey didn't need to be paranoid that was the last thing he needed but alas he was. " Sorry about that mate don't know what came over me....it's just I don't know who ta trust anymore." He said suddenly apologizing for the fact that he had been so paranoid lately.

"Not sure," Sodapop shrugged, "Well even if you did know me your certainly not enthusiastic that I'm here." Then quiet suddenly the guy yelled at him, he got this a lot some lone guy walking the streets at night had the right to be scared by some eighteen year old in a leather jacket, Sodapop just wasn't expecting the reaction. He looked at his stomped out ashes some of which were still flickering with slight embers, he looked back up and scrunched up his nose, the man was now apologizing, saying he had no idea who he could trust these days. Sodapop nodded, "Ah man it's alright," He held out his hand for the guy to shake but slowly pulled it back into his jacket pocket. "So whats a guy like you doing out here at this time of night?"
He knew he was probably going to get the same question thrown back at him, it was odd for a kid to just be walking the streets at night unless he was up to something. The worst thing he had done so far was steal a scooter, he'd like to see the trail for that little slip up, and how Darry would react when he found out Soda got jailed for stealing a scooter. Could you even get jailed for that? It didn't matter anyways because Soda would return the thing before the ten year old even knew it had left his front porch.
