((OOC- Sorry I haven't been the most active poster, life school keeps getting in the way. I feel baaaad.)) "Well...." Maureen drawled, stretching luxuriously as she spoke "I guess I can let you off this one time." she grinned up at Roger, returning his kiss on the cheek by brushing her lips against his. She arched an eyebrow when he explained the coffee cup incident. " Firstly, maybe she had the right to break you're coffee cup, where you sleeping with another girl?" she then let out a snort. " Then again, I shouldn't start reprimanding you on stuff like that, now should I?"She let out a happy little sigh. " I know I do." she giggled, playfully batting his face away from her hair. " Stop sniffing me though, it tickles!"" Aw, poor Marky." Maureen laughed, easily picturing the look on the filmmaker's face. The laughter then ceased at Roger's next comment. She let out a small sigh, staring at her fingers, which where currently tracing small circular patterns on Roger's arm. " I know I am..."

((OOC: It's totally cool! I completely understand!))
When Maureen drawled that she could let him off this one time, Roger grinned, feeling her lips brush against his. He moved, teasingly nipping at her lips before he felt her pull back. He watched as her eyebrow arched. "I'll have you know that I only cheated on April one time and that was with you." Roger reminded her honestly. "She was just on her period or whatever and was acting all psycho. She found lipstick on one of my shirts and didn't remember that it was her that put it there."
When she batted his face away, Roger tried to dodge from her attack. "Stop? Stop? Why would I stop? You smell so good, baby." Roger teased, trying once against to press his nose into her hair and try to dodge her hands at the same time.
However, the next comment out of the Diva's mouth made Roger stop, his face halfway buried in Maureen's black hair, and he felt a sigh escape his lips. He hadn't meant to bring the mood down, and hadn't meant to chastise her, either. Maureen was just that. Maureen. He could tell the world about what Maureen had done, but yet, he always found a way to justify it. She didn't do it to hurt people; Maureen wasn't like that. Roger didn' even know how to explain it properly. "Baby." Roger started, unsure of what to say to try to change what he said. "Baby, I didn't mean it like that. Look at me. C'mon." Roger moved his fingers under Maureen's chin, lifting it slightly.
"I know you don't mean to hurt anyone, baby." Roger told her honestly, his thumb running across Maureen's cheek. "You're a good girl. People just have a hard time seeing that for some reason. But I do." He leaned in, pressing his lips lightly against Maureen's. As much as he wanted to stop it, the kiss grew deeper, his hand slipping to her hair. He felt the slightest of moans escape his lips before he broke himself almost reluctantly from her lips and moved to rest his head against her chest. He didn't apologise for the kiss, though he felt slightly bad about it. Then again, he told himself; he loved Mimi. His hands slid down her arms, lacing his fingers with her as the apartment grew silent once more.
"Y'know I love you, right MJ?"

"Hm." Maureen bit her lip at Roger's mention of their druken one-night stand. Out of the many sexual escapades she had during her relationship with Mark, that was the one that filled her with the most guilt. Mainly due to the fact that Roger was Mark's best friend and not just some guy (or girl) she met at a club. She was supposed to have been the filmmaker's ever so faithful girlfriend and what did she do? She got drunk and ended up having sex with his best friend. She didn't even know if Mark knew. She shuddered slightly at the thought of his reaction; Mark had always kept his emotions bottled up inside, the news of that would have probably caused him to explode.
Instead of trying to delve deeper into the subjet, she simply pinched the bridge of her nose and said in a tired tone " April always did have her...forgetful moments."
Roger's continuous attepmts to bury his face in her hair was enough to bring a slight smile back to Maureen's face. " Go ahead then Roger, smell my hair to your heart's desire." she shook her hair in his face, the dark curls flying.
Maureen allowed Roger to lift her head and she stared at him, her large eyes taking in the gaunt lines etched around his eyes and mouth. The physical difference between the Roger of today and the Roger that she knew since high school was shocking, she couldn't believe she had never noticed it before. Reaching up, she traced her fingers lightly over the lines in his face.
" I know you do." she said quietly, allowing him to kiss her. She ran her hands through his hair and over his back, holding him close. All her thoughts were screaming at her that this was wrong, she was supposed to be faithful to Joanne, hadn't she promised that? And Roger was in love with Mimi, and vise versa. But that didn't stop the small sound of protest that escaped her lips when he pulled away and rested his head on her chest.
She let out a long sigh, gripping his hands tightly with her own." I know you do." she repeated, planting a light kiss on the top of his head. Her eyes darted towards the t.v screen, nearly having forgotten about the movie playing.

Her hand in his hair made him groan slightly, her fingers threading through his short hair and her hand down his back brought shivers up his spine, and he pulled away from her lips for a moment to release a shakey breath of air in a sigh. He rested his head against her chest, his ear pressed against her warm skin. The heartbeat drummed out against his ears, and his fingers lightly drummed out the sound onto her hand.
He stared at the TV, but he wasn't really paying attention to what was on it at all. "Mark found out." Roger said after a moment. "About you and me. Let's just say he's...he wasn't exactly pleased. I told him it was just an accident." He turned his head, placing a kiss on her chest. "He just doesn't understand you and me."
Sometimes, he didn't even understand the relationship between Maureen and Roger. The way they were positioned now, arms laced together, legs tangled and lips so close to sensitive body parts, it all could have been intimate. And maybe, at one point in their lives, it would have been intimate. He would have kissed her and told her that he was going to rock her world. But now...well, he had Mimi. That was an instant roadblock right there, but the other roadblock, the invisible roadblood that coursed through his bloodstream was something that he'd never give to anyone, even if he hated them. "You and me woulda worked." Roger said finally, his voice soft against the near silence of the room. "We woulda worked but...not now." He wasn't sure if he was talking about Mimi or AIDS. Maybe, it was a sick mixture of both. While he could deal with Mimi freaking out and hating him, Roger couldn't control if Maureen got sick.
"Not even sure I should kiss you anymore."

"Mark found out."
Those words were enough to make Maureen pull back, though not enough to separate them completely. She stared at Roger for a few moments. " Oh..."
It was all she really could say. Mark was bound to find out at some point, so why should it come as such a surprise? She let out a small, tired sigh and leaned back into Roger's embrace, rested her head lightly on the top of his.
" No one really does understand us, do they?" she asked quietly. She wasn't sure why she was speaking in a hushed tone, which was so unlike her, but it just seemed fitting for the moment. A small part of her mind was wondering vaguely how Joanne would react if she came home to the sight of the two of them tangled on the couch, with Maureen clad only in her undergarments.
She nodded in agreement. " We would have." she sighed. His next comment made her pull back once more, her brown eyes wide. " Why not? Kissing never caused any harm." she asked naively.

"We had a fight." Roger told Maureen with a slight sigh. "We had a big fight. He was...well, I mean, yeah, he was very pissed off. I tried to explain to him that we were both drunk, and when we're both drunk we get..." he trailed off as he shook his head. "I think he's okay about it now. But it's still like, bugging him. I've known him long enough."
Her whisper made him frown, swallowing. "No one wants to." Roger replied honestly. He wanted to ask if Joanne was going to come home. The lawyer probably wouldn't have been pleased to see Maureen in her bra and panties, even if Roger was fully clothed. He wondered if she'd flip out, or if she'd laugh. But given that Joanne hated Mark for a time, he figured she'd flip out. It didn't, however, stop Roger from moving.
When Maureen pulled back, her brown eyes wide as she asked if kissing never caused any harm, Roger didn't feel the need to go into specifics. It was too painful, even now after two years, to talk in detail about his disease, though he could probably write a medical text on the subject. Roger brought a hand up, running the pad of his thumb across Maureen's lips. "...anyone ever tell you you're adorably naive?" Roger asked with a slight smirk before he leaned in, pressing his lips against hers. A hand slipped down to the bare skin of her hip, fingers clenching onto her hip as a breath escaped his lips. He felt his eyes clench shut, and he pulled back for a moment. "Let's go out." he whispered against his lips. "Let's go out to the Life 'cause I think if I stay here anymore I'm gonna end up doing something that both of us are going to regret. I may have to head over to the Cat Scratch 'cause I really need to find Mimi now." His tongue darted out run across her lower lip, and he pulled back from her, sitting up on the couch.
"C'mon. I'm buying."
