Hi, my name is (Laurie) and this is my First character. I found this site through an ad on a forum. Something you should know about me is I'm obsessed with Dorian Grey. Next Character... xD.
Canon: (Romeo + Juliet)
Custom Title: "Prodigious birth of love,"
PHYSICAL
Age: Sixteen
Gender: Female
Appearance: Juliet is small-framed, and has a very erethral , fragile look about her. She has long, nut brown hair down to the small of her back, all one length, and ties it back as often as not. Juliet looks much younger than her sixteen years, and is remarkably underdeveloped for a girl of her age. However, there is a definite sadness about her appearance that catches the eye- perhaps she isn't stunningly beautiful, but unique, yes.
Height: Five Foot Three
Body: Very thin- almost no curves, still very girlish.
Other distinguishing features: Large green eyes and a few vanishing freckles.
Wardrobe: Dresses young for her age, wears boyish looking clothes when she isn't expected to look presentable. Her wardrobe is picked out for her by her nursemaid.[/ul]
Play By: Young Claire Danes
PERSONALITY
General personality: The most prominant personality trait of Juliet is that she is innocent. Despite growing up in New York, the city of corruption, the whole 'badass NYC' trait seems to have passed her by entirely. She cares what people think about her to an extent, but she is used to being alone, and it doesn't bother her any more. She has a dramatic aversion to loud noises, and used to have panic attacks when she was younger. Juliet rarely speaks unless she has something that she really wants to say- she isn't the type of person who will speak just for the sake of it.
Juliet has always wanted to be a professional athlete, and swim professionally. When she forms an attachment to something, it won't be let go easily if ever. She is easily persuaded, although people rarely see the point in persuading her to do anything, and she loves children, although she finds it very hard to talk to them and look after them. Juliet likes church as well- perhaps not because of the religious element (although this a bonus), but because of the peace and quiet that it gives her.

BACKGROUND
Family: Tybalt Capulet, Fulgencio Capulet, Gloria Capulet
Date of Birth: Seventeenth Of July
Education: Still in progress
Occupation: Still at School
Worst past experience: Her first kiss- when she was fourteen.
Best past experience: A night when she snuck down to the pool and took a swim in the dark.
Image: A sweet girl that is severely misunderstood and caught up in a turbulent family through no fault of her own. Perceived as purely the victim- although frequently thought of as unintelligent and more frequently thought of not at all.
History: Juliet is the daughter of Fulgencio Capulet, a senator often associated with black dealings and organised crime within the city. Her mother, Gloria, frequently tangles with her father and they have had a turbulent personal life ever since Juliet can remember. She was brought up by her nursemaid on the whole, and grew up an isolated little child, with few friends since she didn't attend a regular school. Eventually, her schooling had to be taken publicly, and she was enrolled in a very expensive boarding school, and was ignored on the whole.
Years later, she came back to finish her education in the city. The bad news was that her home life was just as bad as it had been when she left, but at least she was old enough to get out of the house every now and then. She spent most of her time at the old water park, which was of course generally empty, and developed a deep seated love for swimming.
She was friends with Tybalt, another relative, for a while until she went to a school in the city and made friends of her own.
It was a new experience for Juliet.
However, she somehow managed to avoid the wrong crowd and was known generally as the 'good girl'. Her family have lived in New York for years, and it's the only place she's ever known.
THE SAMPLE
In Character Sample:
The pool was freezing.
That was the first thing that crossed Juliet's mind seconds after she had dived in- but it was too late now to chicken out. If she had known it would be this cold, she would have braced herself; but she was a little glad that she hadn't. The water hit her like a wall of ice and she surfaced, coughing and shivering, but happier than she had been before. It always cleared her head, coming down here. A building crane lowered down about half a mile away, and Juliet gave a cold, but contended noise.
"I hope they don't tear it up," She was talking about the water park. It was the only place where she could get any peace now, the moment she walked in her front door, she was met by the sounds of some argument or other. Juliet rubbed her eyes absent mindedly, they had forgotten to put the chlorine in enough doses. Oh well. She was nearly fully dressed- short and a t-shirt, it was more than her life was worth stripping off in a public place, especially in downtown New York. She went to a good school, and everyone had their foibles, even there. The material clung to her like seaweed, and she frowned a little, diving under the water for a second time, eyes closed. She floated under the water for a minute, relaxing in the peace and quiet.
If only it could be that quiet forever.
