Hi, my name is Randi and this is my Second character. You guys know who I am, I’m admin on the board and I play Mimi. Something you should know about me is that I’m mad, and so are you, or else you wouldn’t be here.
Canon: Romeo and Juliet
Custom Title: Bawdy Nobleman
PHYSICAL
Age: 22
Gender: Male
Appearance: Mercutio is a far cry from the description of a traditionally handsome wooer or hero like his best friend Romeo, yet his face is memorable and strangely attractive. He has a mop of soft brown hair and striking blue eyes that often twinkle enigmatically, and he hardly smiles genuinely, but settles to often smirk in a mischievous or mocking manner.
Height: 5’9’’
Body: Slender, some muscle.
Other distinguishing features: His nose – it’s cute, but a tad big.
Wardrobe: While Mercutio can afford to dress in the latest high fashion, he doesn’t particularly put weight on his fashion sense. In fact, he likes to mock the so called “fashion mongers.” Despite this, Mercutio usually looks quite good – depending on where he’s going, he might where a flamboyant and colourful outfit for a party or a tuxedo for a more formal occasion. He is also perfectly comfortable with wearing simple designs and colours. [/ul]
Play By: Young Malcolm McDowell
PERSONALITY
General personality: Mercutio is complicated, equipped with an in-depth personality that on the surface seems very simplistic. Despite his upper-class standing and intellectually witty speech, Meructio has a very boyish quality about him and a sense of under-development and immaturity. This is evident since he is so quick to jump into a fight or to mock another person. In fact, Meructio thoroughly enjoys mocking others with the most elaborate speech possible, and nitpicking the different personalities he encounters. He is well known for having a loud mouth and for being quite overwhelming and intense at times. Despite all these qualities, the young man is loyal to those he cares for, and values his friends above all other things. When his friends are sad, he will try hard to make them happy again. Though he won’t admit to it or let on to it, he can be quiet sensitive, and take it personally when his friends cannot or do not reciprocate.
Meructio's emotional range can be quite the whirlwind - he is usually playful and free-spirited, but he can be biting and fierce at the drop of a dime. He can change his views quickly depending on the circumstance. While he is neither a Montague or a Capulet, he remains loyal to Romeo and Benvolio, who are of the Montague family. Though, this doesn't stop him from enjoying what is offered from the Capulets - such as their hot parties. This incorporates into his changeable nature.
Beneath his surface is a lot of youth angst and rage, no doubt encouraged by his surroundings of violence and hatred. Still, Mercutio lives it up and isn't afraid to have a blast and will do what he can in order to maximize the fun to be had. A true hell raising risktaker and loyal friend at heart, Meructio is one young man with an impact that is difficult to be forgotten.
Likes: (please list at least three)
Dislikes: (please list at least three)
Strengths: Making people laugh, being the life of the party, intelligent, always speaks his mind, honesty, loyal, courageous.
Weaknesses: Can make impulsive decisions, susceptible to losing control, stubborn and hot-headed, bellicose, immature.
BACKGROUND
Family: Belinda Facetia, mother.
Patrichio Facetia, father.
Prince Ronaldo Emmanuelle of Italy, cousin.
Education: Only the best – passed in a very prestigious high school with flying colours and has studied at NYU.
Occupation: Socialite (hell, he doesn't need a job - he's rich.)
Worst past experience: Almost being expelled from his high school for his bawdy and outrageous behaviour.
Best past experience: Becoming friends with Romeo and Benvolio.
Image: Generally Meructio is viewed as a sort of class clown personality, but with the added bonus of having a high ranking social status, intelligence and masterful wit. He’s known for achieving good grades without having to try hard and for his association with the Montague family.
History: Meructio Facetia was born to Belina and Patricho Facetia on June 15, a gorgeous bright summer day. He was raised in a ginormous elaborate mansion in New York surrounded by tall impending iron gates and lush greenery and forest to create the perfect privacy and shelter against outsiders. But as Mercutio grew older, his parents among all others would learn that his nature was far from protected or private, quite the contrary. Belinda and Patrichio were very succesful business people - together they ran a trading company that they hoped their only son would inherit upon his manhood, and their retirement.
The Facetias took it upon themselves to home school Mercutio until his tenth birthday. He was enrolled in a primary school where he met Romeo and Benvolio, and gained quite the trouble-maker reputation there. His parents were thoroughly embarrassed and dissapointed in their son, so after his fourteenth birthday, they sent him to the most prestigious and high-ranking boarding school in England. He received amazing above average marks, a slight British accent he adopted accidentally, and a level of popularity and eventual notoriety among his peers and even the staff. He had an infectious charisma that most admired from afar. But after a while, Mercutio grew nauseated by the strict rigid policies of the school and began to rebel. Not long after his seventeenth birthday, Mercutio thought up a brilliant prank aimed at the head master and staff and with the help of some friends he executed it - the biggest act of rebellion he ever carried out.
The head master was infuriated, while the student body was immensely entertained and behind the backs of the administration they praised Mercutio. He considered this a great accomplishment for himself, but the consequences were severe. Not only did he receive an intense spanking, he almost faced expulsion. Mercutio's parents chided him because he had become such an embarrassment to them, and quite the stain on the family reputation.
The only reason he was permitted to finish his senior year was because of his intelligence, and his potential.
Not too long after his graduation, Mercutio decided to leave England and return home. Upon arriving in the bright city, Mercutio cried out for joy and relief, for here he felt not limits or boundaries any longer. It was all beautiful and free, and he was home at last. He rediscovered his best friends Romeo and Benvolio and now their bond is tighter than ever. They went to an ivy league college together and peddled a bit of blow under their name "The Gods of Verona."
Since then, Mercutio had maintained limited or no contact with his parents and has disconnected himself from them almost entirely. His parents wish him to inherit the family business, but Mercutio wants nothing better than to have fun and rely on his fortune rather than work hard and become depressed, embittered and washed out like so many adults he's witnessed throughout his life. But, Mercutio does like to maintain some contact with his cousin the Prince, as he is very much interested in the lavish lifestyle. Though it is a safe bet that when that money runs dry, Mercutio will have no choice but to head the family business, or use his own potential to land his own job. But for now, Mercutio lives for the party.
THE SAMPLE
In Character Sample:
"Hey, it's Benvolio. I'm not around to talk right now, so leave a message and I'll get back to you later."
Beep.
"My good friend, I've got a proposition for you."
It was always a bit difficult to get specific people on board for a plan of action, especially if it was...epic. Or, more so than the usual adventure. On this day, Mercutio would be sure to round up his best buddies Romeo and Benvolio along with a few other mutual friends for a wild time at the Capulet Mansion. Oh, how wonderful it was to have connections...
"Tonight, the Capulets are to hold a grand costume ball. It's supposed to be one of the hottest parties in the city, so naturally, Mercutio is in attendance. I received a personal invitation, and all of us are coming as far as I'm concerned. We will take advantage of the masquerade theme so that you, Romeo and the others will gain entries..." Mercutio continued into his cell phone.
"No one will suspect a thing - we will all blend with the rest of the party goers...I'll provide the treats. Tell me your game..." Mercutio concluded, making sure to emphasize tje double meaning on the word "your" - expecting to hear Benvolio's compliance when they comunicated later, but also his own plan of action.
Mercutio clicked off the phone and rubbed his hands together in anticipation, that smirk twisting his cute boyish features. Oh, it would be quite a time. As promised, the hallucinogens were lined up and prepared to be consumed, and no need to worry about bringing alcohol, the mansion would be full of only the highest quality in brands of sweet liquor. Romeo was all ready confirmed, so were the others. All that was needed was Benvolio - and to wait a few hours until the sky grew dark. The stars twinkling across the plain of black, fireworks blasting from the Capulet lawn. The garden of titties and buttocks that awaited him.
Oh, it'll be a party, all right.
