Penelope felt her body melt as Hector kissed her back. Though every nerve in her body screamed "NO", she slowly gave in to the tingling all over her body. The kiss was delicious. Slow and tender, it sent her whole body into a lull.

Suddenly, something her head snapped, and Penelope pulled away, embarassed and uneasy about what she had just done. "Oh God, I'm so sorry. Oh God." She whispered as she backed away from Hector, ran for the door and ran out as fast as she could, in al her aprehension and confusion.

[MAYOR HECTOR "HADES" TORMEI]

The voice in Hector's head screamed at him to put a stop to this foolishness. She was just a child, someone who couldn't care that much about him. But here she was, wrapped up in his arms, kissing him back. Hector let himself finally relax into the embrace, his self-doubts disappearing with Penelope's response.

That feeling of belonging disappeared when Penelope pulled back suddenly, cutting the kiss short. Hector couldn't move, he was stuck in place as Penelope apologized and started to ran off. Hector stood in the same spot, watching her go, unable to stop her.

"God damnit!" He hissed when the shop door had closed. He had completely ruined the entire thing.

"Boss? Everything okay?" Luciano asked from the back room.

"I'm fine Luciano. Get back to work," Hector snapped, stomping back over to the counter to get back to book keeping, anything to get his mind off of what had just happened.
