But even though this is what he looks like up close, the eyes can be fooled and he might seem very strong in the distance. PERSONALITY
General personality:
Gringoir is not the man to have many words to speak off, but he has a rather good way of smiling and being polite while at the same time keeping his distance from people. He is also one to add to vulgar nature and swearing a lot of swearing even if the swearing is mostly in poetical form he will always swear. Apart from that Gringoir is mostly like a child happy, and sad at moments, angry and moody the next . Bi polarity is what it was called, or at least what the doctors had told him. Thus medicine was given to him; he hates it from time to time and controls it with his medication. Apart from all that he is also a loud talker when he is happy and is expressing himself. Like his mother use to say expressing its the poets art just simply say what is in your heart.
When matters of the heart involve... Pierre has no difficulty to adapting to things that come in that league , he thinks most of the time that he will fall in love with anybody and has the ability to be likable . Even though he has no conscience of the word of not being in love, he has always been a dreamer and a maniac for love. He will in fact be surprised and shocked if people don't believe in love. On matters of personal affair he will seem cold and when first meeting a person he will usually just give and welcome him with open arms and be friendly. But if the person does not welcome him, he will usually grow separated and ignore the person at all cost until the man or woman sees fit to actually say that they are sorry. But if they do not, or if they get him angry he is an easy man to be in a tranquil mood even though his bi polarity sometimes get the better of his affairs.

On a small house in Paris, Pierre Gringoir was born. His mother being a naturalist decided that a home birth would best suit the family for the first born, and everyone agreed to it.
Recurring to a doctor was not an option, like so many generations before Gringoir's mother had always had a natural experience with the birth of a child at home.
After 72 hours, and a hot bath Pierre was born on a March afternoon, the leaves falling and the sun setting in a way that was quite a sight to see. When Gringoir was born there was much discussion in his family about what he was to become, when older. Many said lawyer, while others said doctor.
For most of his childhood Gringoir always seemed to live in a dream, never knowing which reality was which and if anything at all was as wonderful as growing up and imagining other worlds and other places.
His parents were always very strict, and wanting him to study to the best of his abilities. When he turned 6 they decided on a private schooling, by seven his father was teaching him his trade carpeting and his mother writing.
keeping him always at a high standards, with rules like never being able to go out , never being able to bring friends, but always studying reading books, writing a scholars way was what they had wanted .
When he turned 10 he left school and never finished his studies , at 14, he decided to rebel with them when he was older and in effect he rebelled l with sneaking out at night to a club named la Mort.
There he started to frequent in horse races , horse races turned to the dice ,and the dice turned to cards and the cards turned to chips and so on. He also in that time, met a lady much younger than him.
After he turned 18 he was one of the most wanted men in Paris, for debts that he owed to a few gentlemen. But then one night he hit it big, he won a thousand five hundred franks. After that he changed his alliance, Maida left him and he became a honest man and lost all his money with paying his debts to people that he owed money.
After the money was gone, his parents started to wonder what he would do and if anything from his carpeting lessons and also scholarly lessons would help him at all. He assured them that he was going to find the best solution that he could ,but in the way another temptation struck drugs.
His closest friend Memo was the one responsible for this tragedy, with introducing him to minor psychedelics like LSD, mushrooms and sometimes the non psychedelics marijuana and speed. With these drugs, he found his true calling art and writing.
With these two keys he found 2 worlds as well, one of sadness and one of delight. The first one was that he was rather good at what he did, and he enjoyed his writing. The second one, was that he found himself to be with the bipolar syndrome.
A thing which he did not know, until later in his youth with the help of his two parents. Sadly though life continued on and by his 20th birthday tragedy struck, his parents both died in a car accident which made him fall into a never lasting depression. He bunked with Maida his old friend, he did not eat for days, and did not sleep he did not know what to do with his life all the money that was left by his parents was used to pay more debts until he was finally free of all his debts and only had but a measly 300 dollars left.
He decided that he needed a new city and a new place to be and thus decided to move to New York in hopes that he could find something joyous at the end of the rainbow.
THE SAMPLE
In Character Sample:
He lied in bed, the moon up the sky as he sighed. Another day in his life that had gone wrong, why, why in all of Jupiter's glory would he be trapped yet again in the melancholy of the world. He had no money, and no way to get a job. Being deprived of food and a home really sucked but ah what can anybody do.
It was a typical feeling, the not wanting to eat, the tiredness, the bore dome of life around him. Then to sit down and not do anything at all, he wanted to now disappear, die and be just another piece of sand in the sand clock of time and space.
But for now he could enjoy the simplicity of the world, the one that he lived in. The bench bellow him, the moon in the sky. The simple weather that either made him cold or warm. He never went hungry either, since he never ate much. But alas if he could only find some way to find his muse , then everything would change and he would at last be able to live a normal life.
But a struggling artist was always a hard path, his aunt had said so .. so really there was no point in him feeling sad. So far he knew tomorrow he had a big day, he needed to sell those poems after all. People always loved literature, no matter what right. Besides he was an expert, and could really touch peoples feelings.
Alas these .. Thoughts.. for tomorrow and he should go to bed.
