Okay, so I got to thinking about all of Eppie's plots intertwined with so many different canons. I started wondering about how on earth we git them all together to be true to the canon and yet something totally new at the same time. I realized that there are many parallels in the canons that are currently related and that it would be fairly easy to connect them. Here's just my basic outline, and I just want to note that it would definitely be a long time before this plot is enacted, since we're still gathering characters to move plots along. So, we know that Richard is going to become a tyrannical mayor. Well, the whole idea of the Les Mis plot is the poor students revolting against the bureaucracy, so the fight against Richard from his plot and the emeute from Les Mis could be combined. Not only that, but the Socs from The Outsiders could be on Richard's side and the Greasers could be fighting with the rebels. Eponine disguises herself as one of the Greasers, or something, so she can get in on it and go after Marius, who is definitely rebelling for his own reason. So in this way we could combine the endings from all three canons! I suppose this was more just a brainstorm. I had to write this out and see what others thought before I forgot about it. Like I said, this wouldn't happen for a long time, first off because the Outsiders plot hasn't started up and neither, really, has the Les Mis one. And naturally, Richard has to be in office for a while. But just for future reference, this is here.

This sounds ultra cool Me likey...could Mercutio rebel through association? Lots of fighting happens in Romeo and Juliet as well, and I feel he might be quick to act...as usual. He'd just need to be in the right place and the wrong time. Haha.

Gaaahhhh! That's sooo cool! I do have a few questions though, in the books, Johnny, Pony and Dally go to the movies, Dallas starts messing with a few Soc girls sitting in front of them, Johnny tells him to leave them alone, Dally gets mad and walks away. Pony and Johnny wind up making friends with Cherry and Marcia, then start walking them home, when Bob, Cherry's boyfriend notices his girl hanging out with a bunch of Greasers he get pissed. Cherry stops a fight from happening right there. Pony and Johnny go home, and fall asleep in an abandoned lot. Pony wakes up in the middleof the night, goes home, and Darry get angry and accidentally hits Pony. He runs back to Johnny says he needs to get out of the house for a bit, so him and Johnny go to the park where who else then Bob and Randy pull up in their mustang. Johnny Cade and Ponyboy get into a mini fight with the Socs and Johnny winds up killing Bob, then all hell basically breaks loose, Pony and Johnny run away after Dally tells them to hide out in an abandoned church... The church catches on fire, Johnny breaks his back when a piece of burning wood falls on him, Pony and Dally are hurt but not as bad. The Greasers and the Socs set up a rumble to get even with the Socs, so on and so forth, Pony and Dally are both in the rumble, but after wards they go and see Johnny who dies and tells Ponyboy to "Stay Gold." Dallas, gets really upset, robs a store, the cops chase him, he pulls a gun (which isn't loaded) the shoot him he dies... So really we'd have three characters dying, and two of them are awesome and really just shouldn't die. But if we switch it around and say the rumble wasn't for Johnny getting hurt and just the fact that both groups want each other gone but that they had an argument over political views and Dally, Johnny and Pony both sustain minor injury from that? Then if anyone wants they could kill 'em off threw that. XD then we intertwine Eppy through that like you said. okay so not questions but basically more plotting XDD

I would say stay away from RPing all of the stories exactly how it plays out in the canon, because that would be extremely difficult (and yes, cool characters would die ) I think that in the plot that Eppy's trying to play out, there's no need to play it like the book. The Socs and the greasers can battle it out and we can see what happens from there (...and Johnny doesnt have to die and therefore Dally doesn't have to die, etc etc). We can just keep playing it like we've always played the canons...based on the book but not just reenacting the book.

*nods* yes. As I actually read "The Outsiders" this week, I wanted to stay away from actually saying that any of this happened just as it did in the book. Because setting has a lot to do with the plots in the canons, and we've changed the setting. So as Yols was saying, it would be different anyway. Besides, who really wants their characters to die? I'm thinking of having Eppie change her identity and become a legal citizen instead of dying. Faking her own suicide. So yeah. I'm glad everyone seems to like where this is going, but of course it's all subject to change. When RPing it's never any surprise when our characters take control. ^.^

This sounds epic. XD
Richard would either panic and suspect usurption or just go with the flow and enjoy the chaos.
