"Oh, I don't pay attention to the gossip rags myself.. My faithful secretary keeps me up to date on the latest local rumours and scandals. We have a good laugh over it at lunchtime."
Claudius made a dissaproving noise in the back of his throat at Aaron's laughter and his words but made no reply, simply taking another, more leisurely sip of his wine.
"So, Claudius," Aaron spoke up casually between bites, "How goes your latest acquisition, that magazine you just bought out? How lucrative do you think it will be in the long run?"
Claudius smiled a bit at this, pleased the topic of conversation was now one he was comfortable talking about.
"Things are going well in that regard," he said. "The company's changed hands a few times so it's not that big deal we've taken it over, though it will be lucrative in the long run, I'm sure. The magazine is read nationwide and it was profitable even before Hamlet Enterprises got hold of it."

Aaron nodded in agreeement as he finished his tiramisu, and signalled for his bill.
"It sounds like a good deal then. It doesn't sound like I need to wish you luck, but I'm doing it anyway. Well, I need to go and reevaluate my current...strategy and plan of execution for my current assignment. If I take too long, my customer won't be happy. You'd think people would learn some patience after puberty." He smirked and took out his wallet to pay for his meal as his bill came.

ooc: Sorry this is so late! D:
"Thanks for the well wishes," Claudius said with a smirk. "The same to you on re-evaluating your strategy." At Aaron's last comment he chuckled. "You would think so, wouldn't you? But if people can't do things themselves and have you do them for them the least they could do is be patient, don't you think?"
