When the bell rang Alyss took her time going to her next class, after what had just happened with her close encounter with madness she was in no mood to be learning, she wished to just go home and rest. Alyss got into her next class just before the bell rang, Alyss went up to a seat and looked at some of her notes on her studies of Wonderland including her recental floral studies. She had noticed an outbreak in a Wonderlandian weed recently and wondered what might be causing it. It was called Sanity vine, and it killed any tree it crawled up. It was causing a terrible inbalence in the natural balence of Wonderland, Alyss would go tonight and start to fix it.
Alyss looked up from her notes to see a terribly familar face, none other than the Cat himself. Alyss frowned, she didnt like where this class was going, she was just kidding about her earlier comment, she only wanted to see the Cat at night and even then she never wanted to see this annoyence again. Alyss just waited until the Cat started his class, if she decided to act out she would surely get payback ten-fold.

Chester watched his students stroll in one by one. He never really got many of the popular kids. Mostly they just hung out in 2s or 3s. Chester noticed little ol' Alyss come in alone. He had noticed her discontent talking to her ,so called, "friends" earlier and figured she was more of an outsider; much like himself. She sat down and looked at some notes or something, he didn't know, he hadn't even started teaching yet. Finally she looked up and into his eyes and the smile he had prepared for her. He could see it in her eyes that she hadn't really meant her acting out comment and was now prepared to regret it.
Chester was in a giving mood today so he decided not to start first. He stood up and presented himself, making sure to use some fancy dramatics. It was going to be an interesting year. He brought up his first lesson, "Friendship and what it means to Others." He liked this lesson to go first because most of the people in here didn't have too many friends.

Alyss looked at the teacher with disgust. She did not like where his conversation was going, he made that topic to dishearten most to all the kids in class. Alyss looked over her notes while she let other kids discuss the topic. She had determined that she may be able to make a certain weed killer for the Sanity vine so she can save the environment of Wonderland. The weed killer would be made up of several herbs such as, roots from the Sadistic tree, the flower of Malice, and finally the only non plant based thing on the concoction the claw of a Bandersnatch.
Alyss looked at the children discussing the topic, Alyss would fall into the cats plan, and the only way he could get Alyss to participate is to force her which wouldn’t be likely to happen so easily. Alyss started to write down her notes, she had taken the Philosophy class to better understand Wonderland, and she was learning about it, just not from her teacher. Alyss set her notes down; she was ready to pester the Cat.
“Sir, I don’t know why you need to mention friends here, friends are but a relative subject to philosophy shouldn’t we be discussing something of a grander scale? Like say, the poem of the man who dreamt he was a butterfly then woke up and wondered if he were a man dreaming he was a butter fly or a butterfly dreaming he was a man? I mean discussing separating Reality from Dreams. What if this whole world was just a dream? And we were but microscopic bacteria discovering the ability to dream? Don’t you think that is a better subject for our discussion?”
Alyss looked at the teacher with a smug expression as all the students started to agree with her, the Cat should know that you can’t fight all the people at once so he would have to change his subject. Alyss still wouldn’t contribute much to it but just switching the topic every so often would annoy the Cat enough for Alyss. Then Alyss thought of a brilliant plan to make the Cat even more awkward.
“Sir while we are on the subject of dreams and reality, if you have ever read Lewis Carol’s Alice in Wonderland, Alice is taken to Wonderland by a rabbit then after the whole ordeal she wakes up and thinks it was a dream, this is repeated in Alice Through The Looking Glass, we would Lewis Carol only make the dream sequence when she goes to it and why not whenever she wants?”
