Sherlock Holmes
Detective-of-sorts.
Dedicated to his work, Holmes can be quite obsessive at times - his focus captured and held by only the most dramatic of situations. And, with little interest in anything other than mysteries to solve, exceptionally rude to others. Unless, of course, manners are desperately called for.
As Sherlock's mind is a rather odd thing, his personality differs very drastically with his mood. He can know anything and everything, yet still be clueless at points of crucial need. His thoughts could be intriguingly simple, or captivatingly complicated. His actions planned, but impulsive and preposterous. And through this, he will most definitely find a way to be melodramatic in the most un-needed of moments, whether he realizes so or not. However, to be easily, and simply, described, this detective is obviously extremely erratic.
Strangely so.
Holmes' trust is not easily gained, so perhaps the option of somewhat of an 'enemy' would be a more reasonable one? Friendly rivals is another possibility, and though downright 'friend' is quite unlikely, an alliance of sort is attainable.
Open for any possible plot lines! However preposterous they may be! In fact, probably the more so, the better.
