Benvolio Montague- but please, just call him Ben- seems to have lost most of his friends and acquaintances during my hiatus. Anybody care to meet him?

Jane Eyre - Jane Eyre Jane's a gentle soul: artist, teacher, and compassionate being. She is polite and will go out of her way to help someone. Mayor Hector "Hades" Tormei - Greek Mythology Mob boss and mayor of NYC, Hector is a cynical, sarcastic, and sometimes cruel man. He's hard to get to know but it fiercly loyal and an interesting man to get to know (he tap dances, for one) Professor James Moriarty Edwards - Sherlock Holmes The smarmy bastard/slut of RC. Whenever he's not plotting to steal something and make the cops out to be idiots, James is busy flirting and pissing people off. Thomas/Tommy "Keres" Kristofferson - Greek Mythology One of RC's two serial killers, he is known by the papers as The Leather Apron. He targets men who live hedonistically so Ben isn't at risk He's a really mellow guy and a little monotone. There be all my characters! Do any of them interest you?

Jane - They would probably get along famously. Ben is a gentle gent himself, and he's so used to crazyness that meeting her would probably be a nice change of pace.
The Mayor - It could be interesting, though I'm not sure how they could come into contact with each other. Ben has relatives in politics, but he tends to avoid the topic at all costs.
Moriarty - He sounds a lot like most of Ben's friends, really- I can actually see a twisted way for that to work out. Ben is a constant long-suffering would-be good influence who never seems to manage much, but he does get dragged into a lot of crazyness. If we can think of a plausible way for them to meet, that could be fun to play out.
Keres - I absolutely love the character; not sure how they would meet, though, or what sort of interactions they could have.

Take your pick, my friend...
Victor Griffiths - Jack the Ripper[/i]
Yes, he's THE Jack the Ripper, not just an emulator. Victor, in public, is completely cool and calm, and very sociable. His complexities go further than his incredible mind, which he dumbs down for an 'audience'. However, don't expect him to think nice things- knowing Ben, he'd prolly think he was a total fool. So far, no one knows who he is, and he is very good at hiding it. He's had years and years of practice seeming like a normal man... and if he can fool Sherlock Holmes, he can fool anyone.
Detective Philippe Javert - Les Miserables[/i]
He's a cop! Not only is he a detective with the NYPD, he's never quite shaken his habit of going on the beat, so there's a lot of roaming around the city he does. He's really strong and really big, so there's no fuss when he enters a fight. Every criminal knows Javert's name and even designates some places as his turf. Javert himself is a wicked straight cop, never strays from the line (well, within the bounds of reason...), never corrupt, and in it wholly for the law. But he's not compatible with everyone, due to his sarcastic and cynical nature.
Dahlia Skuld, the Ghost of Christmas Yet to Come - A Christmas Carol[/i]
Dahlia is mute, to start off with. She's a very waif-like, somber person, and is very dark. But she's also religious, though without being prejudiced against any sort of people. She can tell how other people will die, but gets little nudges from the past and present too, which derive from her connection to the trinity power. Don't worry, it's not too sci-fi, because that's the only thing she can do. As of late, she has changed a lot because her boyfriend (Mephistopheles) was killed by Kay's serial killer... she's become a lot angrier and slightly less forgiving, and a bit sour toward God, which is new. She's beginning to hate her powers, and her character is just all around getting darker. She's currently in the hospital on suicide watch, even though she'd never commit suicide.

JANE && BEN These two would be great together as friends. Jane has few sane friends who aren't 20 some odd years older than her. I'd love to thread with Ben as Jane HECTOR && BEN I don't know how these two would work out so maybe we can reserve them for later? JAMES && BEN Warning: James is gay and would probably try to get into Ben's pants a few times. And James doesn't really have friends, but he has people he enjoys sharing a drink with occasionally. I don't know exactly what you had in mind for those two but I'm game as well. TOMMY && BEN Thank you! =D Ben's a good guy so Tommy won't be tempted to kill him or anything. I'll try to come up with a few ideas for these two.

Victor - You're right- he probably would think that the little rich boy med student Ben is a total fool. Ben's not, but that's certainly what I would expect Victor to think of him. It could be fun to put them together, but I'm not sure what, exactly, they would do.
Javert - Ben has enough friends who do crazy things on the wrong side of the law that I can see him and Javert coming into contact- perhaps Ben, the only innocent one, can't outun him? It would be fun to play around with, since Ben is such a stickler for rules.
Dahlia - Ben is a med student- perhaps he could meet her in the hospital?
---
Jane - I really like that idea, let's do it!
Hector - Sure, I agree.
James - That's actually nothing new for Ben; he's ambiguously bi. And I ust think it would be fun to bounce their characters off of each other and see what happens. I have a few ideas, but nothing really tangible.
Tommy -Sure, I'm game for whatever you can think up.

Any time you're ready to thread, I'm game. You can choose which character.

Sure. Let's do Ben and Jane for now, and save the others for later. Do you want to start it, or shall I?
