Sooo, I've been working on some plot ideas for my two wonderful charries, Monte Cristo and Chase. (Chase is the narrator of Poe's "The Raven.")
I know almost exactly what's going to happen to Chase. When I created the character, I had this twist in mind; I think I mentioned somewhere that my interpretation of "The Raven" is a bit different from the conventional takes on it. That's going to unfold soonish. I'm still trying to get my life straightened out, though an unexpected event occurred recently that now enables me to work less often. =)
Anyway, the upcoming Chase plot will most likely come to its height in the early fall. Before then, he's going to need some friends; otherwise, the plot isn't going to end very well for him.... I may also make an odd request of the staff in the near future.... So, if you're interested, just let me know. So far, Chase has interacted with Vivian and Harry, both of whom are invited to take part in this; if you want to jump in as well, let's make a thread and see how it goes!
As for Monte Cristo, I'm still developing a vague idea of what's going to happen with him. I do know that I want to test his limits, and I'm going to need someone, or a few someones, who could do that. (*looks pointedly at Faustus. =P*) I'm not planning to villainize MC exactly, but if you've read the novel (the unabridged version), you know how Monte Cristo can get, and I want to experiment with that darker side of him.
He'll need a few friends as well; as Nessie knows, I really want to work on the relationship between Monte Cristo and Richard, and MC also got along very well with Puck and Christine. So, those players are welcome to take part, and anyone who wants to jump in, again, let me know and I'll consider it. He's an excellent contact to have, and he knows a lot about a lot of stuff.
I'm going to wait until the Fabula thread concludes to get started with all this, but until then, thoughts, suggestions, and general planning are welcome.

After glancing at your two apps, I'm thinking Jane might prove a good friend for Chase to have, and Hades would fit better into MC's plot, though I an absolutely uncertain whether they would be friends or enemies. We'd have to see.
