Wanted ! Phantom of the Opera Canon Characters
Erik, Raoul, Meg, Carlotta, The Persian and more!
Requested - Knowledge of the books
To anyone who may read this, Hello! I'm Spring, and I play Christine here at RC. I'm currently on the hunt for more Phantom characters, from major roles to more minor notes. Phantom has many characters that can be transitioned beautifully into RC. There are a ton of ways you could rework the characters. The possibilities are endless! It's a great way to get creative with it. You can really make them your own here.
I've left playby's and character rework ideas out of this because I believe that should be up to you, so instead here are characters I'd like to see, and why I'd like to see them.
[Note: I request that if you do take up a POTO character, you have knowledge of the books. I ask this because my Christine is mostly book based as far as the background goes. Strictly Webber based connections could work out, but the character chemistry might not be the same. This only really applies to main connections such as Erik or Raoul.]
I'd really like to see the following characters;

Why would you like to see this character?[/color][/font]
It's Erik! He's very important. You could do so many things with his story it's crazy. What you do with this character really effects his connection with Christine and how they interact. I've intentionally set Christine up in an open situation, so you have a ton of bending room with what you'd like to do here. I really enjoy that intense, out of world connection they have through music, so I'd love to explore that in some way here. If you have ideas you want to pass by me, feel free to PM me. I'm really open and easy to work with when it comes to Phantom canon, but having this character would be greatly appreciated!

Raoul. Oh, Raoul. I know a lot of people hate this poor guy, but I'm not one of them. Having a childhood connection would be a great anchor for Christine. She could use something solid to lean on. Me thinks Raoul is the perfect guy for that. I left Raoul out of my character app because I wanted whoever came in for this role to have a say so in the matter. Like Erik, I'm completely open to ideas on how these two could connect. PM me if you have any questions ^^

...Ok. This guy has NOTHING to do with Christine but look at him! He's just so much fun. He was given a great back story to toy with in Susan Kay's Phantom. If I didn't have Christine, I'd pick him up. Seeing him and Erik banter would be a joy to read, not even gonna lie. I love their interactions. Their friendship is there, though. He's important in that sense. Also! If you made him some kind of former detective, he could really go around the board with the whole Jack Ripper killings that's been going on. Just some food for thought. I'd love to see this character here.

Meg could be a good character here. She could be nice, wicked, backstabbing or nosy. Tons of things you could do with her character. She wasn't really talked about much in the books, so you have a lot of creative freedom. I won't blame you if you go more of a Webber direction with her, because it's more established than other versions. She tends to be loved among fans, so I thought I'd add her here. I'd really like to see her used as more of a main character than a side character. In the canon, I always thought she had the tools to cause some serious trouble, but she never did. Just think of what could happen if she wasn't so sweet? (I'm not sure if any of this made sense)

Not everyone can like Christine! Ok, seriously. She's such an enjoyable diva. Hotheads are fun to write, and this chick has such an amped up ego how could you not be tempted to write her? She's just one of those fun characters I'd like to see around RC for no real reason. Again, if you go Webber here that's understandable. She's rarely mentioned in the books. Webber gave her a great, strong personality to follow. And she has some great hats.

Joseph Buquet & the managers[/color][/font]
If we get an Erik, and depending on what he does, these characters would be cool to see. For Joseph, he could be a great way to kick start plots by uncovering Erik's devices or identity, etc. And the managers are fun, fun characters with silly banter, but also important. This really depends on what our setting ends up being, though. Still, I thought these characters were important to mention, since they had presence in the books.
