This is mostly directed at Nessie, but... I finally decided to post for the first time in a million years yesterday, I saw a very unsettling sight.
Explain?
Also, I swear I'm not dead. Just unduly busy. I have AP test coming up and a few projects due tomorrow, but my weekends as of now are freeing up until mid-Jun, so I'll be back around here more frequently.

Long story short: a warning had been sent to the main admin account (not mine, I'm not sure which account this is) stating that this forum violates the policy of posting copyrighted material without permission of the owner. I now have 48 hours to get rid of such material from the site or it will be taken offline for good. However, considering our use of playbys and suchlike, wouldn't that mean removing all pictures/signatures/avatars? I'm confused and worried as I'm not sure what to remove/how to go about removing it. =/

Oh gosh, deep shit 0_0
That's basically impossible, considering the, well, complete content of this site... I mean, could you perhaps explain to the, well, whoever takes care of this sort of stuff, that it's a role-play sight? Or, I mean, describe it as fanfiction or something, because those sort of sights are fine. Or maybe they want you to credit, like, everything you use or something? 0_0 I dunno. Or you could disable signatures and disable/hide posts in general until everything gets sorted out? Just so it doesn't get deleted.... You should ask the people to specify what they want you to get rid of.
Sorry if I sound bossy, just making shots in the dark hoping the site doesn't die D:
PS The main admin account is whoever made the site (or has the username "admin")

Proboards rules are weird. And "copywrited" content could mean anything. I'm talking with the abuse department over email about it. When I get more info I'll pass it along.

Yols, you're a lifesaver! -many many hugs- I myself e-mailed the abuse department to ask if they could specific as regards what content they wanted removed - they specified the graphic in the About RC section of The Classics - I deleted this and asked for further specifics.
Gabby, thank you for all your suggestions - hopefully the amazing Yols and my failtastic self will be able to sort this out.
EDIT: I just recieved an e-mail from the buase department stating that if I removed the content listed in the warning there is no further issue at this time. I presume that's just reffering to the one item I deleted and not the 'may not be limited to' items that were not specified?

I replied to them just to confirm they were reffering to the content they specified, just to be on the safe side. ^^
EDIT: And received the following reply:
'The specified link listed in the warning was all that needed to be removed.'
YAAAAAAAAY! /flails
