Edmond Dantès was a successful and talented sailor in New Orleans- until the jealousy of his "friends" landed him a fourteen-year stint in jail. After escaping, he claimed the hidden treasures of a small island called Monte Cristo, and became obscenely wealthy. He used this wealth to exact revenge on his enemies and aid his true friends. Having completed his mission of justice and vengeance, he has moved to New York in hopes of starting out with a new life. He owns an investment company, and spends his rare free time exploring New York and socializing.

What does your character think of mine: I only met him briefly, but in the few minutes we spent together I found the count to be a quick witted, intelligent individual. I only wish Edward hadn't been such an idiot upon meeting him; I believe Monte Cristo deserves more respect. I'm not a man to dole out friendship lightly, but I must admit I have a desire to know the count better.

Really.
