TIME TO VOTE!!!!!James is judging you, okay? Okay. So yeah - it's voting season again! These awards are for people who were totally awesome during Winter 2012/13! So technically they're Winter awards but I think it sounds better if I say they're Spring. Because Spring is... Springy. Yeah. Please pleaaassse vote you guys. This can be from stuff that happened ANY time between DECEMBER 21 2012 to MARCH 19, 2013. I'll love you (and give you point) if you vote!
Note: Extended for... a while! Now, for the usual: HOW THIS WORKS:Each first place mention receives 2 votes and each second place mention receives 1. Votes are tallied and a winner is announced. We'd love it if you gave us a short reason for why you're voting for them, just to make everyone feel good. Make sure not to just vote for the same person over and over again, and preferably not yourself. You can also give people "honorable mentions" if you simply just can't pick only 2 people for a category. Just mention them and although they won't be counted in voting, you can still give them props! The same character cannot win male or female award twice in a row, or the same two people can not win pairing or thread of the month again (though one of the two in the pair is fine). So don't vote for Summer's winners in the category they won. Note that for pairing it doesn't have to be all romantic, it can simply be a duo or tag team. Remember, you get points for voting! Winners are awarded fifty points themselves. Female Award: 1. Charrie - Why 2. Charrie - Why
Male Award: 1. Charrie - Why 2. Charrie - Why
Pairing Award: 1. Charries - Why 2. Charries - Why
Thread Award: 1. Thread Title (charries) - Why 2. Thread Title (charries) - Why
Voting ends May 1, so get going and do it!! You can change your votes until April 30.

Thought I'd get the ball rolling...
Female Award: 1. Marguerite Saint-Just - Although she is new to the board, Lady B has really hit the ground running and it's fascinating to see Marguerite in action! 2. Kristine Dae - I think Kristine is a very well reinvented character, and her interactions via web chat with Erik were some that I especially enjoyed reading.
Male Award: 1. Sunny Crusoe - He's insanely hilarious (ba dum tsh). In all seriousness, I love Sunny's character and all his crazy quirks and how he inadvertenty gets on everyone's nerves. Its such fun to read! 2. Erik Lenoir - Another fantastic reinvention here! I particularly like his versatility that's been shown so far, from his amusing RP Roulette thread to his developing relationship with Siobhan.
Pairing Award: 1. Osric and Sunny - These characters are both funny and cute and they have a fantastic thread ongoing - Osric's adoration of Sunny is adorable, and Sunny's confusion as to whether Osric is real or not is brilliant fun. 2. Erik and Siobhan - I was fascinated, funnily enough considering their thread's title, by their first thread together and am interested to see where this relationship between them will go!
Thread Award: 1. A Voice of Fascination (Erik and Siobhan) - Two brilliant characters, an interesting premise, music and wonderfully written to boot. 2. That's One Way to Stop Traffic (Gregory Lestrade and Sunny) - The contrast between Sunny's craziness and Lestrade's annoyance is a joy to behold, and Sunny's rendering of the situation in novel form in his head is fascinating.

Female Award: 1. Kristine Day - SHE IS SO AWESOME i love her bitchiness soooo much. 2. Lady MacBeth - Another fantastic powerful / Shakespearean / murdering badass from Ness occurs!
Male Award: 1. Erik Lenior - I really like Rach's interpretation of Erik. It sticks heavily to the original but it's very modernized. He's still the classy bastard from before, with super creeper tendencies and an adorable formality. 2. James Windsor - Emmy's new character is bamf and stuff. He's also my Victor's bitch.
Pairing Award: 1. Sebastian & James - Coz Seb is a creeper and it's funny and fuck. 2. Morag and Zander - I just really like these two together. They kind of... click, in a weird, they-shouldn't way.
Thread Award: 1. Let Me Pick Your Brain (Sunny & Ricky) - There's a strange chemistry going on here, but it's a very well written thread for sure. 2. I'll Meet You at the Ramble Stone Arch (Lotte) - This'll be GREAT, I can't wait to see what comes of it!

Female Award: 1. Morag Macbeth - She's just a great character and the accent Nessie has her using needs serious props! Plus, she's giving Zander a run for his money! Go, girl, go! 2. Anne Plantagenet - Steph's been away for a while with some health issues, but her posts this winter were full of drama and intrigue that get us all excited for a post in her threads! Can't wait to see more Anne!
Male Award: 1. Victor Frankenstein - I love him. He's so innocent, and yet he's done something terrible that fractured his psyche. Plus, he makes for a fun thread! He's a great addition to the board! 2. Richard Plantagenet - He doesn't get enough love! I've nominated him before because of his awesome plotting mind and the way he says one thing, thinks another, and then plots contingencies. Nessie still brings these to life with every thread!
Pairing Award: 1. Anne & Richard Plantagenet - These two are the most dysfunctional marriage on the board - the only one, actually! - and we all love to read the way that they just rip each other to pieces over things, but somehow they just stick it out. Way to keep the interest going! 2. Morag & Katherine - They're so unlikely to be put together in a thread, but they really compliment each other! The wittiness they bring out in how they're playing their roles is just plain awesome!
Thread Award: 1. Betrayal (Anne & Richard) - I love the dysfunction, but I also love the way that these two just care for each other deep down, and it shines through in this thread with Richard feeling betrayed by Anne's fooling around with Peter *glances at Richard cautiously* and Anne fooling around to get his attention. In the words of Siobhan, it's delicious! 2. Late Night, Bad Coffee (Katherine Minola & Morag Macbeth) - I enjoyed reading this one. The witty banter and the way that the pair are on both sides of the law is just fun. They're so unlikely, as well!

Just a wee reminder - voting time extended for awhile, so there's plenty more time for everyone to get their votes in.

JUST FOR THAT LEVEL OF RUDENESS FROM GABBY I AM NOT VOTING.
Nah, I'm actually not though - I feel I have been far too uninvolved as of late to be able to complete even halfway the votes.

I haven't really been here long enough or rp'd with enough people to have a good all round view of who I think should win these awards. So it will be incomplete, but I hope that will be acceptable.
Female Award: 1. Marguerite Saint-Just She's a fairly new character, just as mine is, but somehow she is just such a charming and sophisticated lady and her posts are so interesting, that I must nominate her. 2. Siobhan Shaw She plays the part of the radio host so well. And she always puts in a few surprises too. Her posts are excellently written and splendidly fun.
Male Award: 1. Sunny Crusoe Hands down, this is one of the funniest and best written characters I've seen. Sunny is so "out there" ... his posts make me laugh every time. They are very well written too and he says the most unexpected things. Great character! 2. Charrie - Why
Pairing Award: 1. Charries - Why 2. Charries - Why
Thread Award: 1. Thread Title (charries) - Why 2. Thread Title (charries) - Why
