With a turn of her head, peering up at him with a gentle scowl and a warm smile, "Danny, you know you can call me Marguerite," And continued to smile. Yes, it was true. She was not like most Celebrities. She was outgoing and friendly, but she could be bitchy at times when the moment required it. But otherwise, she was friendly and a true Socialite.
She took the card that he offered containing his personal number. Looked it over then placed it in a pocket where she would never forget it. "Merci."
Nodded in response to his statement about the enjoyable walk. A hunt now turned out into a loving night stroll. It was odd to find a man so torn up like Danny, so in depth with himself and so keen about her. She still had to be careful that he would not try and force her to do something she did not nor could not do. Each of her past boyfriends had tried to do that with her and she ended it quickly! NO ONE ruled over her! She was Master of her own Fate and lifestyle! No one else!
A date book? Looking at the little agenda item with an absolute shock and delight. Well, the man was indeed prepared! Unlike others she knew who relied upon someone else to keep them on track and in line. Apparently this man could keep himself on track and in line. It was a good sign! Meant he was responsible, mature, organized, and did not depend upon someone else. He could guide himself, make his own choices, and so much more! At this point, she couldn't help but to look at him a little more. Danny had so suddenly become a breath of fresh air in her chaotic world of Society and irresponsible, self-centered people. It was increasingly harder to find people of a good match in intelligence and wits and great character.
Danny was a man of character, quite intelligent, but quite emotional. For someone who was not into himself he was fairly handsome. She felt her heart flutter a bit.
"My evenings are occupied for a while, but..." thinking as she returned her mismatched eyes to his face with a grin, "I will make time for you, Daniel." Her face reflected how genuine she was with her word! An evening, away from a performance or after a performance, just to spend with him and she was more than willing to do that. Why? Because the pros with him outweighed the cons! There was more delightful things about him that she liked and the red flags were nothing more than old fears from past relationships and other people issues that really had nothing to do with Danny. The more she got to talk to him, be near him, the more he impressed her! She was no girl any more just wanting an accessory on her arm but she wasn't the sort to even think of Marriage either. And yet... Danny was starting to veer her in that direction!
She had to think a moment about when to take a night off, as difficult as that was, but she would have to take one nevertheless because of a break. She's been at this story on stage since it began. One night will not do harm.
Those mismatched eyes glanced about before them, and good thing it was nighttime otherwise the paparazzi would have a field day following her around. Granted someone might be out there right now following her and snapping some pictures, but the images would be too dark to really get any clear image. If it was daylight, then this would simply complicate things completely out of proportion!
She diverted those mismatched eyes to look back upon Danny once again and searched for his meaning but it didn't take her long. "Oohh," she snickered, "No. No, just one of the local Celebrities who thinks I would make a lovely fashion accessory on his arm and make him appear more intelligent than he really was!" she snickered again. "I gave up on men like he a few years ago. My former... boyfriends-" she made a gesture with both her head and hands, "... were the sort to utilize me as some fashion accessory. I was the 'In Thing' because I had finished a movie or a runway shoot or some performance or charity. I'm always in the spotlight and so I became their object of desires only so they could boost their image." Then shook her head. "I did wise up eventually and refuse to take to a man's arm in that fashion any more." Once again, gesturing with her hands and head, looking rather adamant about her decision that she was no man's property.
