He can usually be found reciting some of his poetry in a smokey coffeehouse, or playing the piano anywhere he can find one. If he's not there, he's painting in the school studio, or at rehersal for the role he just won in the schoo play.
He's also very truthfull. He never lies, and in turn, depised being lied to. Apollo also voluntees at the hospital, helping the sick with whatever they might need. He has a special place in his heart for sick people, and loves nothing more than watching them get well. He cares deeply for his family, and has prooved that many a time.
He can at times be a little selfish, though. Especially when he's after something he wants very badly. He also is extremely jealous, and has to keep himself in check whenever the spotlight is taken off him. He's gotten better at it over the years, and he's still growing up in different ways, so it'll only get better though. Even with his selfish tendencies and jealous attitudes, he has a good heart and only wants to be the best he can be.

History: Apollo was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma. His parents were ex-hippies, thus earning he and his twin sister very unique names. His parents eventually grew out of the hippie thing, and were in law school when his oldest brother was born. By the time Apollo and his sister were born, their parents were allready very successful lawyers on their way to making partners at the firm they worked at.
Even with the success of the parents, the kids weren't given everything their heart's desired. Chores had to be done, and they taught their children the value of a dollar. Apollo grew up in a simple house, in a simple neighborhood. He grew up like any all American boy would; riding his bike, playing sandlot baseball, playing in the snow, eating snow-cones, etc. The Jones family was very close, and they all loved each other very much. This was to be proven many times...
They once had a neighbor who was quite wicked. She hated Apollo's mother with a passion and set out to kill her. She caught a serpent in the field behind their neighborhood, and placed it in Apollo's mother's flower beds'. When she began working in the flower beds, she saw the serpent and screamed. Apollo ran outside just as the serpent was poised strike, grabbed a hoe, and cut the serpents' head off. His mother still thanks him for it, some eight years later.
When Apollo was ten, a new family moved in across the street. As was custom, the Evans family brought a pie over to welcome the new neighbors. Apollo found they had a son about his age, named Hyacinth. Apollo tried to be friendly, but the boy seemed to shy, so he left it alone. A few weeks later, he found out the truth; Hyacinth was deaf, and that's why he'd run away when Apollo tried to talk to him. Apollo spent the next few weeks learning some sign language. The next time he saw Hyacinth, he signed to him, "I don't know much sign language, but I'd like to be your friend." Hyacinth had never had a friend do anything that nice for him, and smiled. The rest was history. The next four years they were utterly inseperable; if the weren't playing, they were on the computer IMing each other.
Tragedy struck the boys not long after they entered the 8th grade. A mentally unstable gunman went on a shooting rampage, sending the school on lockdown. The gunman killed three people, and made Hyacinth a fourth. The man found the room Apollo and Hyacinth were hiding in. He yelled out orders to Hyacinth, but Hyacinth couldn't understand them. Finaly tired of ordering, he shot Hyacinth in the chest. With no help, Hyacinth died in Apollo's arms.
Apollo was seriously depressed for a year after that. His family worried about him, they thought he was slipping away. Not long after his fifteenth birthday, he found his saving grace; acting. Acting allowed Apollo to move on, and to develop a new sense of himself as a young man. Apollo excelled in acting and in turn picked up painting, and poetry writing.
Apollo auditioned for the theater program his Sr. year of high school and was easily accepted. Upon graduation and with his parents' blessing, he was on a bus to New York City.
THE SAMPLE
In Character Sample: Apollo rolled out of bed and stretched. Another winter morning in New York City, Apollo thought to himself as he stipped of his clothes and hopped in the shower. Letting the warm water wake him up, he scrubbed his body and washed his hair. As the water ran cold, he shut off the faucet, and dryed himself off. He glanced at the clock and realised he was late!
He quickly threw on his clothes and shoes, grabbed his bag, phone, ipod, coat and scarf, and dashed out the door. Finding his keys in his pocket, he locked up and dashed down the steps and out the door. He loved the hustle and bustle of NYC, but not while he was late. He pushed through the crowds on the subway, finally making it to the last stop before NYU.
As he rounded the corner, an old woman selling flowers stopped him. "Would ya like to by a flower, sonny? I've got roses, lilies, dasies, and a new flower...where did I put my paper...aha! I've got some flowers called Hyacinths." She said. A small tear escaped his eye, as memories of his Hyacinth came flooding back to him.
"I'll take a hyacinth, please. Purple." He said softly. The woman handed him the flower, then took the money he handed her. "Have a nice day!" She said brightly. He smiled and nodded as he went on his way. He stopped briefly to smell the flower, taking in its fragrant scent.
"Yes, I think I will have a good day." He said quietly to himself. He smiled, continuing on his way to the university.
