PERSONALITY
General personality: Harvey is incredibly intelligent and he knows it. Thus he can come off as haughty, or condescending. He is cold, calculating and morally scruple-less. He would do anything to get what he wants, including blackmail, theft, and murder.
He is incredibly protective of his secrets, especially his defective Melanoma vaccine (Invisibility formula). He is loathe to admit when he needs help, but he will ask for it if absolutely needed.
He has an incredibly short temper and may turn violent if provoked. He is incredibly frustrated at his apparent “failure”.
Harvey is incredibly ambitious and is furiously working to try to make his Melanoma Vaccine in order to win the Nobel Prize for Science in order to gain Fame at least among the intellectual elite.
He has strong paranoiac tendencies, which may be the root of his strong feelings concerning his privacy especially concerning any projects he may be working on. Likewise he had always had sociopathic and psychopathic tendencies stemming from his disdain for intellectual inferiors. These became stronger after his first and only foray into love had turned out horribly.
Certain chemicals in the formula may have strengthened these tendencies. His moods have definitely turned more extreme as of late, including his feelings of superiority over other humans. Perhaps this long present feeling has been at the root of his quest for scientific accolades.

BACKGROUND
Family:Wallace Griffin (Father)
Education:Bachelor of Science: Optics, Berkely; Biochemistry: Harvard, Bachelor of Medicine NYU
Occupation: Variable
Worst past experience: Being kicked out of various universities for problems concerning his interaction with the rest of the student body.
Best past experience: Being accepted to various universities
Image: People often speculate on his appearance.
History: No one knows where Harvey was born. He had been dropped off anomalously at his Father’s home explaining that he was Wallace’s son. However his father had been a womanizer in his day and thus couldn’t discover who the mother was.
His intelligence was apparent at an incredibly early age. For this reason, along with his appearance caused bullying without end. This drove him even deeper into his studies, consecutively winning science fairs, and prizes at county fairs, and ruining the grading curve. Which only intensified the persecution and continued the spiral.
In his Senior year of high school he published an essay entitled “Newton’s Paints” which got him the a full ride scholarship to Berkely. He threw himself into his studies and kept a constant A+ average. However his irritable nature and irritating aloofness had led him into a brawl that severely injured their star quarterback.
The blame for this altercation fell upon him, and Griffin was kicked out before he could begin work on his masters degree. However this freed him up to accept a full ride to Harvard, where he changed his major to biochemistry.
As before his work gained him minor accolades, and allowed him the opportunity to work on the Calypso over the break. During this session he discovered an enzyme produced by the Cuttlefish which allowed them to change their cellular structure. Intrigued, Harvey took samples of this enzyme which he kept to himself for in case he ever found a use for it. Later this two stage enzyme would become a large part of his Melanoma vaccine.
After he had graduated from Harvard, scandal had forced him to switch Universities once again. His roommate had overdosed and died in the emergency room while Harvey had been at the library. However Harvey, wanting to keep his private life private accepted the University's suggestion that he do post-grad work at another school. Thus he accepted a scholarship to NYU and shifted his attention to medicine.
His social life also started to haltingly bloom. He even managed to get a date with a Drama major, the relationship grew until her ex came back from California and reclaimed her. Consequently, this is where he learned to apply stage make up.
Heartbroken Harvey dove back into his work. He worked through the next three years of College, until his scholarship money was removed due to his refusal redo an essay on Moreau’s "Evaluating Elevation and Evolution." He managed to finish paying for college by taking his father’s life savings.
His Father then committed suicide due to the fact that he was going to use the money to pay off gambling debts and found no other way out.
Harvey soon Graduated and began on his post grad work, a vaccine for Melanoma. Though he was using the school labs he kept his project to himself, as he didn’t trust anyone not to steal it. He knew if he could perfect the serum then it would be an instant Nobel, the crowning achievement to his various minor awards. The proof of his superiority over the mentally inferior masses.
Using the Cuttlefish enzyme, along with his albino DNA and various other bleaching and blood thinning drugs he finally decided to test the formula himself.
It was probably his mistrust that led to his downfall. He had finally worked out the formula for the vaccine, though when he injected himself with it he found that the formula worked all too well. Instead of making him transparent to the harmful UV radiation, he became invisible to all light. (Except for Infra red due to his body heat)
Distraught he disappeared, moving to a small town on the coast of Massachusetts. However he was soon driven out by the suspicious townsfolk. Harvey then returned to New York, depending on the big city state of mind to keep his studies under wraps.
THE SAMPLE
In Character Sample: Knock Knock Knock[/i][/color]
Angrily Harvey looked up from his reading. He waited and hoped the intruder would leave.
Unfortunately the knocking persisted.
With a resigned sigh, Harvey set down his book and stood up. He made his way to the door, only pausing by the mirror in order to wrap a scarf tightly around his face and to pull on a pair of gloves.
Content that his invisibility was now completely hidden, he finally reached the door and opened it.
A short chubby woman stood outside the door, holding a plate of brownies with a friendly smile stretching her face.
"What do you want?" Harvey grumbled irritably.
"I was baking some brownies and I figured that you might want some." The woman replied in that friendly grandmother tone."
"Listen, I told you the last two times that I want to be left alone. However since my words aren't getting through to you than maybe this will sink the message into your thick skull." He grabbed the plate of brownies and dashed them to the ground before stomping on them and slamming the door shut.
"And don't worry I'm perfectly capable of cleaning the mess myself."
He returned to his seat and turned his Ipod to his Bach playlist, returning to his reading. The mess could wait until Ms. Meltzmen was gone.
