Dislikes:
Strengths: Alex is muscular, so if he needs to fight someone or something, he can. He also has a way of making people smile, whether it be him talking, or just the way he smiles when they speak, they smile. Alexander is quite apt with fixing mechanical things.
Weaknesses: Alexander hates hearing people cry, which happens a lot with all the other urchins he hangs with. Since many of them are quite young, he hears a lot of crying. He also has to help people, which has found him get in a lot of trouble. Alexander when in the air of very rich people, or someone higher classed then him, will have a tendency to stutter, or to babble, out of nervousness.
BACKGROUND
Family: His sister, whom he hasn't talked to in a long time: Annabelle Rodeson: 22
Mother: Alexandria/deceased
Father: James/deceased
Education: Just into grade school. He made it to 5th form.
Occupation: street urchin. Sells things he makes.
Worst past experience: When his mother and father died in a great house fire. They were working for a few High Class people, and the house caught fire. They were in the room next to the room where the fire was started.
Best past experience: When he sold a few tattered weathered books to a High class woman who payed him a good amount of money because she felt bad for him.
Image: When someone would to be first to look at Alexander. They would see a grubby, but cute guy. He tries to keep himself clean as he can, but still finds a way to get a bit dirty each day. They would see someone who would do anything to get a bit of money, for some food.
History: Alexander was born to a loving family. They weren't rich, but they weren't poor. You could call them Middle Class. Now, his parents, Alexandria and James already had a child, a daughter, who was three at the time they had Alexander, and her name was Annabelle Merie. She was always getting jealous of baby Alexander having all the attention, but that wasn't going to stay that way forever.
He was raised in a small apartment in Brooklyn, and he was happy, all the time. People were always commenting on how his hair was a beautiful dark color like his mothers, and how his eyes were just like his fathers. Annabelle felt left out. But by the time he was eleven, and she was fourteen, their parents decided to move out to New York City, where there were more job opportunities and where they could have a fresh start. So they hopped on a train, riding in the worst conditions they could. Alexander didn't like it, but he didn't know that he was going to be living like that sooner than he expected.
When they got to NYC, they were amazed at how the prices differed. They couldn't afford an apartment, much less to have him go to school; so he was stuck with his fifth form education. He helped his father open up a shop, where he worked with him at making things that people could use in their house. He helped make the well pump more efficient. But he wasn't happy that he had to live Low Class. Finally, after much searching, both his mother and father moved out to a great mansion and began working as servants to a great family. There did Annabelle and the family's youngest son fall in love, and soon run away to get married. The family was angered at their son, and Annabelle, and soon decided to go out and search for them. They left Alexandria and James in charge of the house. At this time, Alexander was now seventeen.
Two years had passed. The family was still out searching for Annabelle and their son, and Alexandria and James were growing old, but still keeping hold on the mansion. Alexander had two birthday's pass. He was 19, and old enough to go courting, but no one would want to court with a Low Class servant boy. So he just continued to work with his parents. One day, they sent him away to get groceries, but when he returned, the entire house was aflame, and he knew his parents were inside, burning alive. He didn't have anything he could do to stop the fire, so he just sat far enough away that the flames couldn't lick his skin, but he could still see the house, and he watched the flames eat the house, and watch it crumble into ash. His entire life was finished, now that his parents were dead.
Knowing he had no way to be saved again, he went into the city, deep into the heart of it. And he began to make things again, and sell them to make a living of a bit of food. He was alone, and he was distraught, but he continued doing it, so that he wouldn't parish like his parents did. He does not know if the family who's mansion burned are back yet or not, he just knows that his sister wouldn't want contact with someone who let their parents die.
THE SAMPLE
In Character Sample: Alexander had been crafting a small wooden rocking horse for someone who had stopped him on the street and asked if he could. Why he did it he didn't even know. He didn't know the person, much less understand why they would pull him aside personally. He had just begun to carve the mane, sitting on the side of the street, when he heard footsteps walk up to him.
"Well, have you finished it yet?" The voice asked. He looked up, with sawdust covering his hair, he figured he looked like a wood nymph who was going to kill someone. He shook his head once and then began to carve again. The voice spoke, "One more hour, and I want it done." He could finish it in an hour. He wanted to tell the cruel, cold voice that, but he just couldn't, he felt as though sawdust was covering his throat, choking him. He just continued to carve. The mane was finished, then he just had to piece it together. He quietly did that, when he heard footsteps approach him.
"Is it done?" He looked up at the cruel mans face. The mans mustache was thick, almost like a walrus'. He nodded, then tentatively held out his hand. The man placed a back covered thick with grime in his hand. He tipped it over, and out fell two ten dollar bills. That was enough for a loaf of bread and water, that was for sure. He smiled up at the man, but the man had already grabbed the rocking horse and was walking away.
"Thank you." Alexander mumbled to himself. He then turned and walked away himself, in the opposite direction of the man. He was going to get to a Bakery or something. He was starving. Quickly, he made his way to the street, with old cars slowly passing him. He quickly made his way across the street, and fled into a bakery. He quietly bought a loaf of bread with his money, and then walked back out, going to a quiet store. He relaxed and ate the bread in silence, and then made his way back out and to a well. He quickly drank a bit, and then made his way to the abandoned house he was borrowing.

I really think he would fit in because of his personality, which is something I'm sure you get a lot... It's kind of hard to describe why he would fit, but I'm sure he would, because I kinda made him to.... If this sucks, I'm sorry for wasting your time.
