For Valentine's Day the Millionaire Match Maker is coming to NYC again, but not just for those rolling in the dough. No, this time she's tackling who ever wants to sign up for her program. Singles and couples alike! For singles, she will match you up with a blind date! For couples, the Matchmaker will help you have the best or disastrous (depending on the person, after all she can't work miracles) Valentine's Day ever!

This is another idea brought to you by Merrill! As the ad states, we'll be having a slew of DATES on RC! Depending on what number we get and the ratio between guys and girls, some might not be going on "dates" but rather...blind RPs. Think of it as a way to get to RP with someone you otherwise wouldn't have.

For Singles:

When you sign up, you'll be paired with a character. We will designate someone of the pair to "plan" the date (guy characters, be prepared, it'll probably be you!). Only that person will know who they are paired up with.

Those who we designate as the Date Planners...you will be required to "plan" the date, however the character would plan their dates IC. The date will be based off of information that will be shared in the sign up form. Don't worry, the "Matchmaker" will help you out with ideas.

When everything is set, the Date Planner will post the thread and PM their date the link, letting them know that its time to start the fun.

IMPORTANT NOTE: All of these threads, even though they take place on the regular board, are deemed Crack RPs. After the thread is over, if you guys don't want the thread to count, it won't count and it'll be like it never happened for both characters.

BUT if things work out (or don't) and it makes sense for both characters to *want* go through with blind dating and the thread itself makes sense enough to go into your history, the thread can count.

For couples

This is a bit special. The Matchmaker wants to help you get to know your partner better. If you and your partner sign up for her program and do well enough, your characters will win an all expenses paid romantic getaway to the Bahamas (we will help plot a date thread for you there).

The program itself will be a modified version of the newly wed game. Hopefully you know your partner well!
