This election will be my first that I can vote in, I am no stranger to politics however. My father has been DA for a very significant portion of my life. He served while Plantagenet's brother was mayor and liked him decently. Father stepped down when Richard Plantagenet gained mayoral status. He told me it was because he'd had the position long enough and was ready to take over grandfather's firm, but I'm almost certain it is because Father is scared of Richard.
I hate when my father is a coward, he's voting for Tormei, I agree with most of Mayor Plantagenet's policies, Mayor Plantagenet has more political experience, and I'm a spiteful brat. Thusly, Plantagenet gets my vote.
(OOC: I totally did NO research whatsoever on neither Hector nor Richard's policies/other political nonsense. I don't know much about politics either. So, if I got anything wrong...sorry. I tried looking, but was overwhelmed and didn't know where to look.)

Meg Giry wasn't exactly a US citizen yet...she couldn't take her test yet because she could really read and write in English yet. They weren't skills needed at the Paris Opera House and she was embarrassed to admit that. She was going to find a tutor to help her. She wanted to be a full fledged citizen...she had full citizenship in France. If she could vote it'd be for Tormei but she was too young to vote (at 16) and not a US citizen
Emma Carew was offically a US citizen. She had taken her test and passed with flying colors. Now she could vote and do everything else US Citizens could do. Voting was on her agenda today. She knew it was her duty to vote. So she dragged herself away from painting to do just that. She hadn't payed attention to the candates until she got to the poles. They both seemed like good mayors to her...but Plantgenet looked too much like he could be in the house of Lords....so her decision was made. When her turn came and she got in to the voting booth she flicked the Tormei lever and was done with it.

Mark Cohen paid very little attention to city politics. In fact, he was told by his parents that he was supposed to go vote today. That was the only reason he even realized it was election day. He had thought about it, but then decided to screw the government. He wanted a shot of a leaf blowing into a park instead. So, he said "eff it" and didn't vote.
Kearstin, at fifteen, is too young to vote legally. But she would probably have voted for Tormei, if she wasn't.

Joan stared at the machine, forehead wrinkling in confusion. What was she supposed to do again? Bah. Even with Ponyboy's help she was having trouble. Still, with a lot of squinting and sounding out of words under her breath, she managed to figure it out. Ah, she was supposed to click next to the person's name that she wanted. That was simple enough. She did not know much at all about either of the two candidates, but she had met Mr. Tormei in church that one time, and he seemed like a decent enough fellow, so she clilcked him and left the building.
