Hi, my name is Tichy and this is my fourth third character. I found this site through the time tunnels of Tarteris, or Yolz. Something you should know about me is I'm one mean bean.
Canon: William Shakespeare's 'Hamlet'.
Custom Title: To Thine Own Self Be True
PHYSICAL
Age: Twenty-six
Gender: Male
Height: 5' 8"
Body: Standard
Other distinguishing features: Tight lipped, freckled and stately displayed.
Wardrobe: Well kempt and almost always suited. Dresses specifically like the businessman he knows himself to be - commercial, industrial and professional.[/ul]
Play By: Charlie Clements
PERSONALITY
General personality: Suited for his profession - charismatic, knows how to persuade and is a skilled practitioner in talking about his money. As a result of his mother's death, his father took to spoiling him with oversolitude, overindulgence and excessive praise - which in turn, has turned Levi into a closet brat. He will get what he wants. His habits, traits and actions portray him as a neglectful person, unconcerned about his actions and thus unconscious about his image. Though it is true that his surrounding influences from other people also define his personality. Overall, Levi is moreso inclined to the more negative side of man.
Despite being hard working, Levi is a liberated youth who spends alot of his time in luxury, resorting to such acts such as drinking, gambling, quarreling and betting. He picked these habits up while away in France for his education. His father, "Polonious", resents his misdoings, which is evident, but Levi is too ignorant to listen to him and puts it down to jealousy. He is also seen as domineering towards women, especially his little sister.
Quotes, frequently used expressions: 'I got more in my pocket then you got in your savers account.'
Likes:
Dislikes:
Strengths: Makes a painstaking effort in all his endeavours, possesses an extraordinary ability to attract (which comes in very handy with sales), certain of himself.
Weaknesses: An impulsive reactor, spitfire temper, impolitely unruly (a brat).
BACKGROUND
Family: Father; "Polonious" Knowles
Mother; Martine Knowles, née Didrick Deceased
Younger sister; Ophelia Gemma Knowles
Education: Université Paris for three years under Business and Management. Can speak fluent French
Occupation: Foreman of 'Knowles Motor Company'
Worst past experience: The death of his mother
Best past experience: Making his first million.
History: It started out very differently. Levi was the first child born to Martine and "Polonious" Knowles, followed six years after by a sister, Ophelia. Living free from strife in Denmark with a parental unity, he had the shapings of a mild mannered, if somewhat cocky, young man. It was not until the sudden death of his mother, when he was fifteen, that the Knowles family began into a slow descent.
The blue devils of depression struck his father, but, rather than sink into melancholia, he decided to dedicate all of his time, and money, into his children. At this time, only simple clerical work was funding the household, so there was not much money to be throwing around - yet still, "Polonious" had an obsessive inclination that by showering them in materialistic treats and high praise (even when not deserved), it would restore their joy. Whereas it did in the short term Levi took advantage. He became brattish and overly self-assertive, believing he could get whatever he wanted, whenever he wanted - and indeed, this was the case. This insistant habit brought debt, and the family had to sell their Denmark home for "Polonious" to take a job in France.
While living in the suburbs of Le Plessis Robinson, Levi got his first job and from there, became very interested in sales. Sales meant money, and money meant sumptuous living. If he could make his own money, then he would not have to rely on his father - that was his thought, which made for a lease of independance. When "Polonious" and Ophelia left France for America, Levi opted to stay behind and educate himself in the ways of industry. He attended university from there, paid for by his father. Obviously.
Studying under foundation management, and then moving on to do an associate degree in Business and Management, Levi became absorbed in the specific occupation and pursuit of commerce. After three years, he graduated and immediately began working in executive motor trade, where he made an impressive name for himself as a sales personality. Yearning for more intelluctual exchange, and a larger scale of control, he then decided to set up his own retail outlet in his specialist subject, 'Knowles Motor Company', or 'KMC'. After making his first million, he upped and moved the entire business to New York City. Not only was there serious money to be made, but he could pay off his father's debts - and keep an eye on his little sister.
In Character Sample: Levi threw a glance at his reflection in a clean mirror, and seated himself with much the same purposeful activity with which he was accustomed to settle himself in his own chair - the boss chair, the one that excercised the authority. On the desk before him lay a litter of papers and proofs; his green eye fell absently on the slip nearest to himself, and lightened into eager interest.
Here was a treat indeed, as he tugged it out at it's corner and discovered it to be an issue of the New York Times. For what he saw was an installment of a powerful serial as of which Levi and his sister had frequently and hotly debated.
'The fuck?'
A sentence here, a sentence there, gave the needed clues, and he read on until the last sentence, a sickened look growing on his face. On more then one intense occasion, Ophelia had sounded again and again the sanity of her, hesitate he say, boyfriend - but this would cause the disagreement to increase tenfold and the very nature of the message would never be grapsed. Why put up with it? If it was hoarded wealth she wanted, she could have come to him, he would have happily paid for anything his adored little sister wanted. It made no sense, Ophelia could not possibly love the man.
The unutterable dread which had actually blanched Levi's cheek disappeared instantaneously, replaced by a loathing look, 'Out of his goddamn mind.' He then crumpled the paper with both hands into a ball, and irately threw it away.

PRINCE OF HAMLET ENTERPRISES STARTLES MUSEUM GOERS
Son of the late owner of Hamlet Enterprises made quite a scene in one of New York's most esteemed museums. Speaking erratically and shouting at two men who are reported to be his co-workers, onlookers paused to catch the apparent 'Prince' have a near breakdown. Rumors continue to circulate among media outlets about Harry Chandler's mental state but no one in the Chandler Household was available for comment.
