Mona sighed as she walked down the halls of NYU on the way to class. She was happy that she was finally here, It was much cleaner then the high school halls she was used too. She was proud that she got excepted into NYU for early college classes. It was a great opportunity for her to start on her dream. She walked with her head up as she walked down the hall. Her dark jeans lead up to a form fitting, green top that accented her curves. She paired the ensemble with green strap heels that clicked as she walked. Her long hair flowed perfectly over her almost bare shoulders. She made sure that she looked flawless. Her make up was light but still made her hazel green eyes stand out against her light brown skin. She had redone it 3 times to get it just right, and was glad she didn't settle for 2nd best.
Mona was confident in her walk but on the inside she was self doubting. She wondered if she looked out of place around all these college students and professors. She hoped that they didn't judge her too harshly because of her age. She may of been younger then most people at NYU but she was smarter. That was one thing that Mona never doubted, her intelligence. She knew she was smarter then most people she had meet in her life, and was proud of it.
Mona looked around as she walked down the hallway towards her first class of the day. She was looking forward to sitting in a class full of students and knowing that she was smart enough to be a high school student there. She couldn't wait to see the teacher face to face and answer the questions perfectly. She had a feeling that she was going to have a good experience here at NYU. She may even meet someone new.

It was early in the morning,Juliet was not very thrilled to be going to her sociology class. She hated the early morning classes, the girl did not understand why she could not sleep all day until noon. But she was not one to miss class and just sleep in, sure at times she had skipped class before. If the walls in the school could talk, they could tell some many things about the girl that had become the ruthless but yet beautiful Juliet Capulet. But yet, they could not so the girl felt safe within the confine of the schools. In here, she could be Juliet the normal New York girl not hide herself between fascade that she had built for herself. Everybody in her social group was like her, some what but people understood where she came from. And it helped to make the atmosphere easier in the school.
Juliet smiled at couple of her sorority sisters as she strolled down the halls. In NYU, it did not matter that she was a Capulet or that her Father was in the board of trustees, Juliet was just another student trying to graduate. The girl did not pick a complicated major, sure she was probably intelligent to handle a harder major but she had social life to balance with her school. And truly she could not let her school get in the way of her sorority and her social life, after all she was socialite. For her school was just something to get degree and be able to help in the family business even though, her job in life was to be a good hostess and society girl.
Juliet entered her classroom and just smiled at her fellow sorority girls who were sitting in the middle of the auditorium. She smiled as she ran to where they were, she just looked at them as she sat next to them. Juliet loved sitting with her fellow sisters because they knew each other and had a lot of things in common besides money. She put her tote bag down in the floor next to her and just smiled as she looked around the semi-empty auditorium.

Mona walked into the large classroom and looked around for a place to sit. Most of the seats were filled with people who talked to each other. Mona felt instantly out of place and isolated. She didn't have the advantage that others did of coming to the school everyday. She didn't know anyone who was in the room which was so different from the high school classrooms that she was so used to. Mona looked around almost frantically for a place to sit, yet she kept it hidden behind her smile. It was her ultimate weapon, her smile that kept all her true emotions hidden. She had perfected it through out time and knew that it was so good poker players would envy her. Mona finally saw a seat open next to a blonde woman that seemed oddly familiar. She sat down quietly and looked around the class room again. Sociology was one of those classes she was required to take for her future profession.
She opened her bag and pulled out a Magazine she had recently bought. She hoped that it helped keep her hair from being wild. She looked at the cover and saw the blonde girl she was sitting next to. It was at that moment that she understood who that woman was. She couldn't believe it! She was sitting next to someone famous and on the cover on the magazine she was reading. She was in shock but quickly recovered and kept her emotion hidden. She grabbed the magazine and shoved it back into her bag. She didn't want to seem like a stalker or a freak .
Mona didn't know what to do. She wanted to talk to the woman, but she didn't know if she would be welcomed into her life. Mona took a deep breathe and weighed her options logically in her head and then just decided to go for it. She turned her body towards the woman's and put on her smile. "Hello My names Mona, I'm new here, can you help me out some? I just need to know where we are in the lectures."

It was rare day in New York that somebody stopped and asked her for an autograph. Juliet usually oblige and signed for people but she hated it, she just wanted be normal girl.Sure, normality was not part of her vocabulary when her last name was Capulet. How many people could say that they had their own private lounge and hangars at JFK and La Guardia? Her sense of normality was completely different than other people's sense of normality. For Juliet a sense of normality meant being a people to sit in her kitchen in just panties and t-shirt and being able to eat bagel and cream cheese.Outside of her penthouse, there was not really sense of normality, she was usually chauffeured everywhere and accompanied by servants or bodyguards.
But NYU was one of those places were the girl could actually act like normal college girl. It did not matter that she was a Capulet, she was treated like any other college student. At the end of the day,she had to passed her classes to be able graduate, she was not going be handed diploma because of who she was. Juliet liked that, she did not want anything handed in her life, she wanted to earn it. Sure, some people in the school treated her different but she did not care,Juliet just ignored those people. She sighted her life was not perfect, the girl did not understand why people wanted to imitate it.
Juliet just looked at the girl,it was weird for somebody to sign up for class after first day.But the girl did not mind helping out a new student. She smiled at her, "Well today,we going start on chapter I the different social factors of society."She paused, "I'm Juliet Capulet, nice to meet you."The girl took out a piece of paper and just wrote her name, phone number and address. "If you need any help on the class don't feel shy,I can help you."She smiled as she handed the girl the piece of paper.

Mona took the piece of paper out of Juliet's hand and then wrote her information out on another piece of paper and handed it to her. "Thanks Juliet, My whole name is Monica Lisa Dragoti, but everyone thinks it's funny to call me Mona Lisa." She gave Juliet a bright smile, "I saw you on the cover of Seventeen , you looked radiant. It must be hard to look that good all the time" Mona gestured toward Juliet's clothes. She knew that she may of come off annoying, but she was new and wanted to at least and try and make friends with someone. The truth of the matter was that she already had read her whole Textbook and done the first 3 assignments that the professor had given her. She only asked to break the ice and hopefully find someone to talk to. Mona didn't like to be alone, she had enough of that when she was younger.
Mona kept her smile up, as she thought about her past and the things she was put through. She didn't like to think about it but sometimes you just had to. She had to think about it for a brief moment, because she had to remember why she was trying to make friends, so she wouldn't be alone . It was because of this that she strived to be friendly toward everyone, well almost everyone. She gave people a chance and if they were rude or mean toward her, she wouldn't be so nice. Because Mona could be the nicest person anyone ever knew, but cross her and she will turn into your worst nightmare. But she tried to stay away from that side of herself.
Mona looked at Juliet again and smiled, "It must be hard for you to get any peace and quiet. When I was younger, there used to be people over at our house all the time due to my dad's job. It was hard for anyone to get any peace. But I guess I'll never have to worry about that again."

Juliet just smiled at the girl, she had never seen her before at NYU. But that did not mean anything, there were so many people at NYU that she had never seen before. Jules had taken small liking to the girl, she did no know why. It was rare that Jules was friendly with anybody, she was usually a bitch to most people. But the girl founded the hard to be a bitch to the girl, she could not even be sarcastic, it was a rare thing. Juliet just smiled at the girl as she looked for a sharpie through her purse."It can be but if you have the right products, it is not hard. You just got buy the right products and spent time in front of the mirror to achieve the right look."She paused,"Do you want me sign that copy of Seventeen?"Juliet said as she held her sharpie out. The girl really did not mind signing the girl's copy of the magazine.
Juliet loved her being sort of anonymous in NYU, nobody really bother her. She did not have to put up a front, the girl could just be Juliet and there would no be no problem with it. The girl did not mind if people once in a while bother her to sign something or take picture. But what bother her was people always wanting pictures or to sign stuff, she came to NYU for an education not for an autograph section. If she was going have an autograph section, she was going charge for it.
Juliet just looked at Mona for a minute,"I can get peace and quiet at home, not many people bother me. And really if I stay in the Upper-East Side nobody really badger me for anything, I'm just another resident. And really my parent's penthouse in the Upper East Side is my sanctuary.I could show you around penthouse sometime if you like."

Mona looked at Juliet with slight sadness in her eyes, to only be free in your own home was a fate she didn't wish on anyone. She thought that everyone should have freedom out in the world. Mona smiled at the woman and shook her head at the offer for an autograph. Mona wasn't really interested in that kind of thing, she felt it was annoying for the people who were signing it. In her eyes if you wouldn't want to do it , then they wouldn't want to do it. "No thank you, I really don't need an autograph if I have the same class as you, We'll see each other almost everyday"
Mona looked around the classroom to meet the faces of the other students. Some of them looked at her strangely, she was used to it. most people her age didn't dress as grown up as she did. Wait until they saw her in business attire, their jaws would drop. She was different compared to most people that were in the same age group as her. While other teenagers were out partying and getting drunk, she sat in the library and read books. She was different but didn't want to change that in anyway.
"I would love to visit sometime, I think it could be fun. Maybe we could have a study session or something. But I don't want to be a bother toward you. I am afraid most people see me as annoying because i am always studying. So I am sorry it I annoy you Juliet. It is not my attention."
