The morning had not begun like she wanted, the young girl had been woken up early by the sound of rain. Juliet disliked the sound of morning rain, the girl could not sleep very well when it rained outside. She did not understand why,but it was something that just happen. The girl had learned to deal with it by just getting up earlier and compensating by eating her breakfast earlier.Sure,at time she got up a little bit too early so she just laid awake in her bed thinking about her life. The young girl knew she lived of privilege, she did not take it for granted and tried to be as nice as she could to everybody she met. It was how she was, the young girl did not find any reason to get angry at somebody unless they had done something to displease her or insulted her family and friends.
As breakfast came to the end, Juliet stood up and just excused herself from the table, the young girl had a lot to think about. She walked out of the kitchen and just looked around, the girl was not in any mood to talk to anybody, she just wanted to retreat to her room for now.Juliet was tired of being treated like a thirteen year old,she wanted more freedoms to attend to public balls and dinner parties. The young girl was tired of being sent to her room when there were balls or parties at the house, she was not allowed to participate in. In her eyes, she consider herself a grown up girl but nobody else looked at her that way. She just wanted to stop being thirteen and fast forward in age so she could be presented to society already.
The girl reached the top of the grand staircase and just turned as she headed down the hallway to her bedroom.Juliet wanted to be left alone with her thoughts for now.She slowly grasped the knob of her bedroom door and opened, she was surprise by what she found. Juliet looked at the girl, "Excuse me,can I help you?"She had not been informed there were new servants in the household.

Elizabeth was generally one with a very positive outlook on life. Thus when she was given this new job, she had found herself feeling quite enthusiastic. Why, she had been looking for another job, and she'd found it! That was one good reason for being enthusiastic, wasn't it? Yes. It was. Or, at least in her book, it was. So, she was happy. Now she had this work as a maid and her previous work at the library. It was more than enough for now. Lizzy felt quite proud of herself, even.
Her enthusiasm was even reflected as she worked. She had finished tidying up a room in only a few minutes and had moved on to another. Lizzy didn't mind having to clean around. She and Jane usually helped their mother out around the house. Oh, and with Kitty and Lydia running around erratically, the mess was just on the brink of chaos! But, that never really bothered her. She did enjoy doing that kind of work. Though it was frustrating at times. Jane had a lot more of patience than she did when it came to cleaning up. She probably did much better, also, but Lizzy had proven many times that she could be just as efficient as her older sister.
The door opened and Lizzy looked up to stare at the girl that stood before the door. She offered a kind, polite smile. ”Good morning,”she saluted pleasantly, with a light bow of her head. ”My name is Elizabeth Bennet, miss. I started working here today. I was just doing a little cleaning. I hope you don’t mind, it will be done in a minute,”she assured with a smile as she went back to changing the bed covers. A little sigh escaped her lips as she continued with her work. ”It’s too bad about the rain, isn’t it?” she asked pleasantly. Personally, Lizzy didn’t really mind the rain much. In fact the best memories of her childhood were those of playing outside in the rain with Jane while their mother held Mary in her arms, watching over them. She was just trying to make conversation… and hoping it worked.

The young girl gave stare as she stood in the entrance of her bedroom, looking at the girl making her bed. She was perplexed by this site, apparently nobody had told the young girl that Lucy liked to come back to laid down after breakfast. But it was not nobody's fault, she was probably new and nobody had explain her the habits of the youngest Capulet. Juliet could just smiled and just look at the girl, she did not have no reason to get mad at the girl. The only thing that she could whenever she had chance was to explain the young girl her morning routine. Juliet knew this was not going be last time, she encounter the girl.
She entered her bedroom and just closed the door behind her as she smiled at the girl. Juliet was not intimidating, she did not think anybody could be scared of her. The only time that the young girl could be sort of intimidating was when she was mad,but that was side that rarely was seen. Most of the time, Juliet was a happy-go lucky girl with a side for the mischevious. The youngest girl enjoyed drinking tea and just trying observe people that came over. Besides playing music and dancing, one of the favorite past times of the girl was watching people and try understand them.
Juliet did not know what to say to the young worker without scaring her or make her afraid of what Juliet might say. She deliberate took her time to say something, she wanted to observe the young girl first before making any decisions. Yeah, Juliet could be cold and calculated too but she did not like that side of her personality, it just did not mesh with her sweet and caring personality. She slowly walk her bedroom keeping an eye on the girl and just observing for any sudden movements.
She smiled at the girl as she stood in front of the girl, "There is nothing to forgive,it is okay. The other maids are aware of my morning routine,it did not expect new maids to know of it on their first day.Yeah the rain sucks,I wish it was not raining" Juliet smiled as she looked at the girl, she did not want scare her. She needed to change to her more comfortable dressing gown. Juliet was not in the mood to go get her maid to help her change, she though that she might as well use the new help. She smiled at her, "Come here, help me change out of my dress into my comfortable dress gown.Go to my closet and get my white dress gown,Elizabeth please."Juliet smiled as she looked around hr room

The sound of the heavy raindrops hitting the window, the voices she could hear somewhere around the house; and the voice of the little lady she was talking to made a generally calm atmosphere. She smiled a little. "I completely understand. The next time, if you wish, I will clean your room last if you desire to rest,"she promised, as she moved to work on something else. Hmmm... well, it seemed like she was done here. She didn't leave, though, the owner of the room asked for help to get changed. Lizzy looked toward the closet and walked over to open it.
Lizzy found it quite strange that the owner of the room seemed so cautious around her. She figured she was probably shy around strangers, but didn't dare to ask. It was perfectly understandable. Jane and Mary were like that as well, and usually they opened up at their own pace. This little lady probably needed time to adjust to her presence as well, just like her sisters did with people they weren't acquainted with. So she'd give her time; until she got used to her.
"I must say you have a very beautiful home, Miss Capulet. I'm sure my younger sisters would be envious if they were to see it,"she commented with a soft laugh. Indeed, she didn't doubt that Kitty and Lydia would probably be speechless upon seeing the place. She didn't think Jane and Mary would be so envious. The two younger Bennet girls would. That was for sure. Lizzy herself was amused by how great it seemed. Picking a white dressing gown, Lizzy turned to the young lady, showing her the gown. "Is it this one?"she asked with a smile.

Juliet just sat there as she waited for the girl to get her the white dress gown, that she asked for.The girl though maybe she could use the new chamber maid for other duties whenever her maid was not around,it would not hurt. She seemed to take a liking to the new maid, even though she had barely met her. But Juliet could tell if she would like a person or hate them from her first contact and so far,she loved the new help. Even though the girl was still new, Juliet was going make sure that the girl was familiar with her morning routines and the things that she like. After all,if she was her chamber maid, the girl had to be familiar with Juliet's schedule and routines to make sure nothing like what happen today ever happens again.
She was definitively not her sister, the girl tried to be as nice as she could be to everybody that she meet.Even though, she had that bitch side of her that she barely used, that was one thing that she admired of her sister that she could be mean but still behave lady whenever she had to. Juliet wanted to learn those skills even she had not yet, the girl was going try hardest to learn them as soon as she could they might come in handy one day. The girl looked at Elizabeth, "It's okay, don't worry about it,you can clean it whenever you want. And please don't call me Miss Capulet, call me Juliet,if you going be my maid,I prefer Juliet,Miss Capulet makes me feel old.Well call me Juliet whenever we alone in my room but never in front of my parents or guests". Juliet smiled as she stood looking around her room thinking.
The girl understood the pressure Elizabeth must be under as new maid in a new job. Juliet knew that the girl was probably want to be perfect so she could maintain the job and not be out in New York trying find a job. Juliet was going be as nice as she could to the girl, but it did not mean that she was going let the girl run her over. She was going be affirmative over her commands to make sure things were done her way.
Juliet looked at the dress gown and smiled, "Yes,Elizabeth.Thank you,I grew up here,my parents bought it before I was born. If the day was clear, you could see Central Park from my balcony.Well one day, whenever my parents are not in New York,I could give your sisters tour and show them my day room with my dolls and doll house collection."The girl was happy that her maid was able to get her clothing right. She smiled as she stood there wanting to get out of the clothing. "Come,Elizabeth help me get out of this dress. After you done help me please go to the kitchen and bring me some tea with little bit sugar and milk,Elizabeth."Juliet just stood there waiting for the girl.
