Hi, my name is Emily and this is my First character. I found this site through an ad on a forum.
Arianna Artemis Hunt
Middle Class
Middle Class
Canon: Greek Mythology; (Artemis)
Custom Title: CIA Huntress
PHYSICAL
Age: 27
Gender: Female
Orientation: Heterosexual
Appearance: Ari has a very tomboy-ish style. She doesn't believe she needs to wear expensive clothes to be treated as she should be. People should be defined by the inside, not the material they cover their body with. She would rather be comfortable in her own skin than be bothered by uncomfy clothes just to be fashionable. She usually wears either sweat pants or jeans so she can run easily. She normally just wears a plan tee shirt or a sweat shirt. Sh doesn't overdo her style because she likes to blend in with the crowd, it makes her job easier. She does enjoy wearing hats to cover her ginger hair. She also enjoys sunglasses, she likes the edge of mystery it gives to her appearence.
Ari is quite small, at a height of 5'3. A lot of people tower above her but she doesn't see this as a disadvantage. Her height allows her to sneak around easier. It allows people to underestimate her because of her height, which means they are certainly in for surprise when they see how much strength this girl can have when she happens to get in a fight.
Height: 5'3
Weight/Body Type: Ari is an average weight for her height. She is also quite petite with quite a bit of muscle.

PERSONALITY
General personality: Aria is a very determined girl. Once she has her mind set on something she gets it done no matter how many people are against it. She never gives up without a fight and will always fight for her beliefs. She is extremely loyal to her friends, family, and her coworkers. She would do anything to protect her loved ones from danger and will always have their back. She is also very intellegent and is a nature lover. She is a very outdoorsy person and loves the environment. She excells at any kind of hunting. She is very cunning and sly, always using quick thinking to get herself out of hard situations. She is also a very good liar, which helps her keep her identity a secret from others. After all, it would make her job much harder if people knew she was a CIA agent.
Ari is very stubborn. It takes a lot to change her mind once it's set on something. She is also very close-minded on a lot of things which makes her very judgemental. She is overly confident in her abilities as an agent and has a need to always be right. She refuses to admit she is wrong and hates to apologize. She is also very impulsive, she acts without thinking a lot. She hates being told what to do which leads to her impulsive acting that gets her into a lot of trouble. She also has a horrid temper, once you get her angry you will regret it. She isn't afraid to humiliate you or put you in your place if you frustrate her enough. She holds strong grudges that she barely ever gets over, which makes her an extreemely frustrating person. She believes that her opinion is always right and that there's no question about it. If she doesn't like you she makes sure you know. She isn't someone who pretends to like someone. She believes that the person she hates should be aware of her hard feelings.

BACKGROUND
Family: Zach; father; no contact with
Leto; Mother
Apollo; Twin Brother
Education: Ari attended public schools throughout her whole life. She couldn't afford private school and her mother wanted her to learn in a social environment. After High School she attended college and a CIA training school.
Occupation/Job: CIA Agent
Image: Others view Artemis as a girl who is very unique and herself. They know she won't take crap from anyone and they admire her strength and intellegence.
History: Ari was born five minutes after her older brother, Apollo. Her mother gave birth to them, as they are known as bastard children. She got pregnant to a married man in an affair he was having. He left her on her own with little money. They grew up in a small house in Maine near a forest. Growing up Ari would always sneak into the forest for the fun of it, she never saw what could be so dangerous about it. Of course her brother would always come with her and follow her to keep her safe. Just that five minute age difference made Apollo believe that he was stronger that Ari and that she needed his protection. That and also because of her female gender.
Growing up was hard, they had little money to buy things they needed. Ari and Apollo attended public school, even though they mostly stuck with each other. They didn't trust anyone else. Ari grew a hatred for sexist comments as they grew up. As she grew she always wanted to learn how to do archery, they were having a class at a Rec center and her friend paid for Ari to enroll also. Arianna had amazing aim and excelled in Archery. Her mother was made aware of this and for her daughter's 13 birthday she bought her an archery bow and arrow. Ever since then she snuck into the woods and would practice shooting tree trunks and branches. Mostly because shooting animals was against the law. Even though once and a while she would accidently shoot a squirell or a bird of some sort.
Soon enough Ari was 17 and in High School. She already decided that she wanted to be a CIA Agent and she would attend school to train for it. It was the action and adventure she looked for in life. While she was out at the mall by herself she met a guy named Orion. They talked and became good friends. Soon enough they developed feelings for each other and started to date. They were getting serious and Arianna wouldn't spend much time with her brother because of Orion. This made Apollo angry and jealous. He didn't even like Orion that much. So Apollo met Orion and threatened him to leave town and leave Ari. He lied to Orion, telling him things like Aria was cheating on him and was using him. The next day he was gone and all was left was a text breaking up with her. Ever since then she swore off men forever, hating the pain that love brought her.
Ari kept to that promise, she even grew a hatred for men but tolerated them unless they proved to be good human beings. She attended college and put her occupation above all else. She managed to forgive Apollo, it was hard to stay angry at her own twin forever. She went to a CIA training school and managed to become an agent. She caught 3 criminals so far. She was moved to New York City for her job, see if she could catch any there. Being a CIA agent got her up to middle class. She lived in an apartment by herself. Even now she hasn't said yes to a guy since Orion. But lately she has been finding it hard to resist some, but she is determined to keep her promise to herself.
THE SAMPLE
In Character Sample:
Arianna walked around Times Square amazement in her eyes. She had never seen such a big city, so many tall buildings and people that were quite overdressed compared to her own pair of jean shorts and a tank top. The sun was beating down hard, she had on her shades as she walked to the closest starbucks. In such a big city blending in should be easy. She shook her head, that certainly wasn't the case. Aria stood out with her dark red hair, let's face it. Not many gingers were alive. It was quite a rare hair color. She once was told that she should dye her hair to blend in better. She refused, she loved her red hair for some reason. She felt as if it defined her and without it she would be someone else. There was that, along with the fact that she hated being told what to do and wanted to make her own decisions. And for now her hair would stay.
She walked into the nice air conditioned Starbucks and smiled with content. She loved how the cool air felt on her steaming skin. Another reason why she didn't dye her hair, having darker hair would mean more heat to be attracted to her body. One thing she did hate was the feeling of heat. It made her feel more trapped and disgusting. She had no idea how anyone could live in such a hot place. Luckily New York had cold winters that would make up for the heat she felt now. "Next." called the girl running the cash. Aria snapped out of her inner thoughts and noticed it was her. She pulled her sunglasses up on top of her forehead, hoping nobody noticed she was wearing sunglasses inside the building. She glanced up at the Starbucks menu and smiled back at the girl.
"One Iced Caramel Macchiato, please." she ordered as she pulled out her wallet and pulled out a ten dollar bill. She put it on the counter and glanced around as she waited for her drink. Even though she had the day off from work she would still attempt to do her job to keep the city safe. Being a CIA agent wasn't as fun and adventurous as people thought. It took a lot of investigating and intellgence. She had to be able to analyze moves and actions. Of course the close combat always got the adrenaline rushing through her veins. She treated any life threatening situation with over confidence to scare off the fear that anyone else would normally feel. But being a CIA agent also meant following orders and not doing anything too impulsive. Something that Ari always seemed to do.
She was snapped out of her thoughts once again as her drink was placed on the counter and the cashier took the money. She stuffed the change in her wallet and grabbed her drink as she walked to an empty table in the store near the window to look upon the pedestrians of the streets. She had a tendency to examine people when she was alone in a public place. It was sort of like a reflex. After all her job was to hunt down the most wanted. She didn't have a specific mission at the moment but that didn't mean she couldn't help with other missions of her coworkers. Because in all honesty, no matter how hard Ari tried, she always ended up getting herself in the middle of it. She was a hunter and the lawbreakers were her prey. She was a CIA Huntress.
