Preparing for the Revamp: Regarding Everyone

Because we're almost there! We got the bare bones of it done. But there are things you can do to prepare for it as well.

• When the revamp happens you must repost your app for any character you wish to keep. Most of the same info from the old app will be in your new one (with some possible additions) - but for the sake of keeping everything nice and clean and uniform, we'll ask you to make another app. Characters that do not repost their app will be deemed unwanted.
  
  All apps will be judged on a fresh slate, so its a good opportunity to make any changes that you may have wanted to include in your character.
  
  
• The site shop will be changed. We will no longer have a "bank" as it takes up too much maintenance and unnecessary energy. There will be a new system that keeps track of points and you will be able to keep all points you've earned once the revamp happens. If you decide to drop a character, that character's points may be transferred, but only for the revamp.
  
  
• On that note, the skins that were made for this board will no longer be usable, as the entire layout for the board will be changed. If you made a skin for this board, you should save the graphics you did for them as they could be used for something else, but we will be removing those skins.
  
  If you bought a skin (either in the past or as a pending request) that is removed, your points will be redeemed. But if you still want that skin you can request it again when the revamp happens. Otherwise we'll gladly give you your points back.
  
  
• We will be doing a major clean up - which means all threads older than two months of the site's revamp will be archived. That includes miscellaneous threads. So if you don't want the thread to be archived, someone should start posting in it.
  
  
• The site's rules will be slightly modified so be aware of that and read them when the site is revamped.

UPDATE:

We have decided as staff to no longer have a ICC. As much fun as it was, it really did distract from actual RPing and was a catalyst for people being left out of events that hadn't been recorded - especially since there was a tendency to RP full scenes, and/or have conversations count towards plots.

Instead we will incorporate a communication section where characters can talk on the phone (and there would be no need to make full posts, it'll be like typing a conversation). That way these conversations can count towards the RP and be view-able to everyone. And of course for non-canon conversations such as this, members can utilize the Crack RP board.

UPDATE: Bank Accounts are archived (we're starting a new site shop system). All points from accounts have been deposited back to people's first characters. Also if you bought a skin, 75 points have been placed back into your accounts.

UPDATE: I'm starting to format the boards to match the skin we're going to put in so if things start changing and looking weird, if some links are broken (many will be), don't panic. It'll all look right when everything is done. We just want to make the site closing time as short as possible so its good to do things ahead of time.

EDIT: Boards have been reorganized, categories have been deleted, but NO THREADS have been deleted. If you can't find one, they are either archived or in another section of the board. For instance, all airport threads are in "Crossing City Limits"
