SOFIA SALFAZZI

PHYSICAL
Age: Thirty
Gender: Female
Orientation: Straight
Appearance: Sofia prides herself on being the most desirable of the three sisters. She has a heart-shaped face with fine cheekbones and a straight, pointed nose. Her nose was originally more beaked, but she got that done up years ago. She has full, light lips that are always parted into a smile...when she's not smoldering. Her hair is usually either straightened with bangs, or done up into a poof. It's naturally wavy, colored a deep chocolate brown. She always dresses the part of a rich mob enforcer, with fancy rings and the latest in every article of clothing down to her pantyhose. She is in league with several designers who are happy to tailor for her (read: are too scared to refuse). She also has a tattoo on her back; an old-timey chandelier "hanging" from her neck.

[/b] A very deep brown-red with tilted and exotic eyes- can usually be seen wearing a smoky cat-eye look with many lash enhancers.
Height: 5'0", the shortest of the sisters.
Weight/Body Type: 115, with a full figure. She is the petite one of the group.

PERSONALITY
General personality: Of the three sisters, Sofia is the most mature, and probably one of the best enforcers in the New York mob. She is proud of her Italian heritage to no end, and still speaks it openly quite often. She is very business-driven and will do anything for the good of her "family"; she has killed many times and will kill many times to come, if only for the good of the family. She is not particularly sinister unless you know just what she's capable of, and she has no qualms with using her charms to whatever advantage she can get. Most would call her the 'planner' of the group, but despite her size, she can be very intimidating.

Sofia is cold, but not unfeeling. She has a lot of love for her sisters and a daughterly adoration of her boss, Hector Tormei. She enjoys going out with her sisters, though she's not as into the party scene and only gets what she calls "necessary" plastic surgery done.

Sofia, though clever and honorable, is still a tool. She enjoys her status as a minor celebrity, and loves to watch reality TV with her sisters. She is almost constantly nursing a Starbucks iced coffee or some sort of weight-loss scam ice tea. No lemon. She gets pissy when she has to ask for something twice, or if you do something in a way she doesn't approve of. Plus, if you are out of the family, you're just out. Good luck getting her to talk to you, at least without the help of her sisters.

SELENE SALFAZZI

PHYSICAL
Age: 24
Gender: Female
Orientation: Straight
Appearance: Selene's overall look is much thinner than either of the other girls. The fine cheekbones remain, but her face is much longer and thinner. She is notoriously pug-nosed, but it doesn't detract from her beauty. Her smile is very even and white. Could be considered the more naturally beautiful of the group, as she doesn't usually wear a lot of makeup. Her cheeks are rounded, but naturally so, making her look less thin than she actually is. She keeps her hair naturally wavy, although she sometimes likes to put it up into a bun; it's darker than Sofia's, almost black. She's into more solid colors as opposed to flashy prints, though she does like floral when she's in the mood for it. Like Sofia, she has a tattoo just below her neck: the Celtic Tree of Life.

[/b] Same shade as Sofia's, but her eyes are less catty. They're upturned and sunny, and she never makes them up with more than some mascara and light highlights.

Weight/Body Type: Her weight is currently 95-100 lbs, but she obsessively gains weight while pregnant. Her bust is not in proportion with her hips, as they as rather wide and her chest is small.

PERSONALITY
General personality: If there is one word to describe Selene, it is "extreme". She takes everything to the next level. For example, even though her maternal instincts are mediocre at best, she got married because she wanted to raise a brood. Her husband, Giovanni Bo, a big man in Tormei's mob, is really just a trophy... and, in all honesty, she is a more important member of the family. She's even had the nerve to keep her last name.

Selene loves being pregnant; she loves how it makes her look, she loves the feeling of something innocent being so totally dependent on her. She would do anything for her babies when they're inside of her, but when they come out, she sort of inadvertently neglects them. As of now she has three children, all under four, and is pregnant with one (newly pregnant; she hasn't told anyone yet). The kids' main care providers are her husband and their nanny. There may be something going on between the two, but in all honesty, he just enables her to have them. She's not around him much, so she doesn't notice.

When she's pregnant, she makes sure to do everything she can to keep healthy- mainly, eating a lot. When the baby is born, she goes into a frenzy of dieting and exercising, which leaves her with a wasteland of stretchmarks. Easily fixed by plastic surgery, those.

She is cute and fun, while being the more maternal of the group, but she can kick some ass. She's been known to take someone down while she was pregnant- inadvisable in the very least, but she did what she had to. Like her sisters, she is incredibly loyal to her family and her boss.

Selene also takes delight in picking up little tidbits that she learns (mainly from watching films based on historical events) and telling her sisters about them. She also knows more than the others about weapons and methods of killing, and so is usually the one consulted when the other two have any questions. Anything that makes other people depend on her makes her feel secure and happy, and when she is happy, she is a very sunshiny woman.

As Sofia is the 'planner', Selene is the 'weapons expert'.

SARAFINA SALFAZZI

Gender: female
Orientation: How much are you willing to pay?
Appearance: Even being the youngest, Sarafina is taller than both of her sisters. Her jaw is wide and square, and her cheekbones are well defined. She also has the family nose, wide like Selene’s, though she hasn’t gotten any work done on it. She doesn’t bear a lot of resemblance to her sisters, and looks more like her father than her mother. Her lips are fuller than the other two sisters, and she most often wears a glossy shade of bubble-gum pink on them. As for her clothes, she likes her fabric to either hang off of her or cling right to her; the way she wears her wardrobe could be defined as ‘slutty’, though she prefers to call it ‘ghetto fabulous’. Her hair is lighter than the two other sisters, naturally with honey highlights, though she’s been known to dye it a lot lighter. She often straightens it, but when she doesn’t, it’s naturally curly/wavy. Like the other sisters, she has a tattoo on her back--a twin-tailed mermaid, like on the Starbucks logo. She doesn’t understand why people laugh at her for it.

[/b] Her eyes are a medium-light brown, usually made up with heavy mascara. She and Sofia share the same eye shape, but Sarafina’s eyes are open wide most of the time. Her eyebrows are fine and light.

Weight/Body Type: She doesn’t speak about her weight except when she’s whining. She’s thin for her height, though her shoulders are wide, which she’s self-conscious about. She's constantly gaining weight and then losing it really fast, so she’s sometimes a bit chunky, and other times way too thin.

PERSONALITY
General personality: When people meet a minor celebrity, they most likely expect them to be spoiled, air-headed, and plastic. Well, Sarafina is pretty much the epitome of Valley Girl and so confirms the stereotype. She chews gum, whines about her nails, and texts almost twenty-four-seven. Perhaps there isn’t much difference between her other sisters there, but Sara is genuinely dim; things need to be explained to her more than once, and often times she just smiles and nods. She’s gotten plastic surgery mainly on her chest, tummy, and lips, which comes as no surprise.

She’s also got pretty loose morals, though she’s a bit of a hypocrite, as she often calls other women ‘sluts’ and ‘icky’. She’s caused a few problems for both her family and her “family” because of her partying and shenanigans. Sara just loves to have fun, even if her idea of fun is slightly dangerous to her health. For example, she’s open to drugs, though she swears that she’s not addicted to anything.

Despite her air-headed qualities and her other failings, she’s loyal to her sisters and the mafia, though both are frequently annoyed with her. She also may be dim, but she's got a hell of a pair of lungs on her; she enjoys singing lounge and blues/jazz, especially Amy Winehouse (even though she was 'icky'). Sara was married once, when she was 17, and they lasted about five months before a divorce.

As Sofia is the 'planner' and Selene is the 'weapons expert', Sarafina is the 'muscle'.

BACKGROUND
Family:
father (deceased) - Romeo Salfazzi: former top enforcer in the mob, before Tormei became the boss. He and Tormei were good friends, as they'd known each other since Hector was a kid.

mother (deceased) - Simone Salfazzi, née Torini: their father was a good, religious man, and so he stuck with his second wife for children. She died when their youngest was 14, and he didn't re-marry. Simone was also a prominent figure in the mob, though her early death did not have her seeing Hector as Boss, which she would have liked.

brother - "Hell Hound": only boy born to their parents. The sisters don't see him very often.

Education: the sisters have never been to a day of public school. They were brought up in a Catholic private school for the privilaged. They have not attended college and none of them saw the need.
Occupation/Job: If you haven't picked up on it, they are the Italian mob's top enforcers. Favorites of the Boss Man.
Image: Frankly, they're frightening. They will tear apart anyone who gives their boss problems, literally and figuratively. With the power of piano cord AND Twitter.

History: There was never a time in the girls' life when they do not remember being showered with lavish gifts, or where they did not live a grand lifestyle. They were born into a mob family that was tight as a knot and never strayed far from one another. The little girls were angels and their brother was a gentleman; the important roles they would play in the Family became clear from very early on.

Sofia was the most eager, naturally, and was the first to complete her first hit. She saw it as a terrific milestone and a proud day, so the fact that she had someone's blood on her hands didn't hit til later. Getting over the initial guilt was a struggle, but once she was past it, it didn't seem to come back to haunt her again.

Eventually, after her father had passed away, she was joined by both her younger sisters. The first person they ever took down as a trio was a Jenny Craig spokeswoman who upset them with some questionable comments regarding their figures, and they were known almost immediately for being attached at the hip. Being favorites of the new boss, they were always assigned collaborative jobs; this interesting method of teamwork, which involved being of the same mind no matter what sort of mind, proved a very effective mode of specialized enforcement.

Within a few years, the girls worked their ways up to the tippy-top. Never have they thought one deserved it more than the other--they may be very different, but they know they needed each other to make it where they are.

In light of the revamp I'm going to archive this app. Save what you have so far ASAP. It'll be a rule not to have WIP apps sit for more than a week. There will also be a rule against people who buy 4th charries posting their apps before buying the character. Just a heads up!
