The night club was packed full of people tonight, as usual for one of Chesh's shows. The Great Vento, was busy getting ready for his act. He really didn't have to do that much preparation, he knew what he had to do, and exactly how he had to do it. Unlike all other magicians, Chesh did not have an assistant to help him complete acts on stage. He either did his tricks solo, or he called an audience member to come on stage and help him. He was never had a moment where he was scared that a audience member might assist him wrong, and he might get hurt. The point was the thrill of having an in-experienced person help him do magic, he loved the rush it gave him, just like he loved the rush of hundreds of eyes on him every night he preformed.
"Welcome ladies and gentleman to the Great Vento's magic act, the show will be beginning shortly please find your way to your seats and enjoy the show~" boomed the voice over the intercom. Chesh always had a spot where he could see everyone in the crowd, but of course they could not see him. He always looked out and made a decision on who he would chose for what act, before he began the show. A grin grew on his face as he chuckled to the man on the intercom "ready mate".
The lights grew dim, and eventually the whole room went black. He stepped out onto the stage quietly as though appearing out of thin air, and all one could see was his crooked smile that he wore. Chesh used a non-toxic glow paint on his teeth every show he had, it was sort of his trade mark, he was well known for that grin. He chuckled and raised his arms above his head "let the show begin" he said as the lights flashed on. The audience, the ones who had never seen him before might have been shocked by his appearance. His medium length pink hair, his purple eyes, the only normal part about him was the tux he wore for his shows in particular. Chesh never put his picture on his ads, he'd rather the audience be shocked at what they saw.
" 'ello ladies and gents', i'll be needin some volunteers for my show" he said in his english accent, as he took a bow. He picked an assortment of people throughout the night for his show, some were enthusiastic about helping Chesh do the magic shows, while others were less than happy about being on stage. His best and favorite act, as always was the disappearing act. He would count down, 3..2..1..with a curtain covering him and when the curtain was let down, there was no Chesh behind it. He would give the crowd enough time for whispering to start, and ask where he went. He would chuckle behind the bar, as he leaned over it, his head resting on his head. The audience clapped, laughing at the silly man, as the lights would dim down once again, until all you could see was Chesh's crooked grin. That marked the end of the show, nothing could be seen, but an applaud roared through the room.
Chesh had made his way back to his dressing room, carefully taking off the tux, and hanging it up on the dry-cleaning rack, so it would be ready the next day. He ruffled up his hair a bit, he couldn't stand his hair after the show from being under a hat for hours, unless he ruffled up his hair. He had a handsome, almost pretty face, which he always had some sort of make-up around his eyes. He put on his street clothes, which always varied, but today he went sort of plain. He put on a pair of black jeans, a designer t-shirt, and a hoodie as well. It wasn't really his clothes that made him stand out obviously, it was his hair and his piercings.
He went out, and thanked the few people still in his room for coming to the show. "g'night Frankie" he said to the man who spoke over the intercom and walked out the side door. It was warmer earlier that day, but had somehow turned quite cold once the sun had set. He held his hands together near his mouth, breathing on his hands to warm him up a bit, as he crouched down on the ground looking up at the sky. "Gorgeous night out" he muttered to himself with a grin.
