Her personal upkeep is that she is very graceful. Her attire usually consists of corsets, skirts, and high heels. when she is dancing it is a long flowing blue dress. she spends at least 12 hours dancing at a time.

00I. overall personality Lacy is the girl next door. She is the goody two shoes of the dancing world. She dances and that is it. She wants romance but hasn't found a man that can tolerate all her dancing hours.
What makes Lacy unique is that when she is dancing she can recieve visions. The visions have saved her family from many accidents and mishaps.

0II. overall history Lacy's father took a job in the United States in the stock market when she was five. She has been dancing in prep schools, moved through Jullard, and is now dancing for the New York Dance Company. She and her father had a falling out after he didn't approve of her fiance. (this broke up their engagement and she has never forgiven him) Lacy is now in a small apartment on her own in Brooklyn. Her dancing keeps her away most of the time. It is a quiet and humble life. Her father sends her money every week to try and win his daughters affection back. It hasn't worked yet.

Lacy stood on the Broadway stage, alone and waiting. She knew the director of the upcoming show would be strolling through at any minute. She was determined to show him that she deserved more of the spot light. The cool hard wood floor felt good beneath her soft sole shoes. Cold air raced in from behind her as if someone had just walked by in the shadows. Lacy didnt mind being watched. She put her hands above her head and began to slowly turn. Her feet were so soft and delicate that they were barely audiable. Her body flowed with the grace of a swan. Twisting and turning, she began to spin...faster...faster...faster. Her vision stopped on her father's face.

Thanks for applying - your rp sample is good! But before I can accept, I need you to work on a few things remember, we are reeally tough on OCs, so be mindful of that as you read.

For appearance - Perhaps you should explain the blue streak in her right eye. What's that about? I personally have never seen anyone with green eyes with a blue streak in it, so you'll have to explain that. Note, you don't have to try to make your character extraordinarily special by enhancing her appearance.

Personality - first, you need at least two good paragraphs. Second, I really do need a bit more detail as to how she is like as a person. What makes her goody two shoes - what does that exactly mean in her case? You said she's shy in the appearance portion but how so? What is it about dance that captures her? What is she like with friends? With people she doesn't like? What makes her tick? How is it like talking to her? You also say she's improper with men - which makes her seem bold and rash - and yet she's shy and also the girl next door? Really dive deep into the character and show her to us.

Visions - Please note that because we're not a fantasy site, you really do need to explain the visions thoroughly. POTO doesn't really have that kind of fantasy in the canon, so I'm inclined not to allow it for this character.

History - the history needs to be at least 3 good paragraphs. Again, just like the personality, give me details. Where were they from before they move to the US? What happened to her mother? Did she have a lot of friends in school? Did she struggle in school? There had to be other important things that happened in her life besides dancing. And if there wasn't, what are some important things in her dancing career that led here to NY Dance Company? Why didn't the father approve of her fiance? It must've been pretty major if she had gotten along with her father all this time. How did his disapproval break up the engagement?

I also need a custom title for this character - this is asked for under where your pic is supposed to be.

I'd suggest looking at some of the accepted apps to get an idea of what we're looking for. I also strongly advice for you to perhaps take a canon, because OCs really need to be thought through in order to be accepted, just as a heads up.

Her mother died giving birth to a son that her father was obsessed over. It drove apart their marriage because Lady Delmount was sure that childbirth would kill her if she tried again after having Lacy. Lacy's father, however, was obsessed with having a son to carry on the family line. Her mothers death traumatized Lacy. This event made her very isolated. Friends were very hard to come by for Lacy. She danced through prep schools. Her determination for long hours made her unpopular with the other students. Teachers praised her poise, grace and creativity. Her dancing caught the eye of a professor at Jullard. He began to teach her and took her under his wing at the school. Their relationship blossomed through the school year. She and her father had a falling out after he didn't approve of her fiance. He did not approve because he believed her fiance was riding on her success. Outraged, her fiance left her and is in the dancing world, making rumors and cheeky talk float around her name at all times. If she auditions, he calls the director to let them know she is a vulture and her father is a loon. Lacy is now in a small apartment on her own in Brooklyn. Her dancing keeps her away most of the time. It is a quiet and humble life. Her father sends her money every week to try and win his daughters affection back. It hasn't worked yet.

Thank you for making the edits. Staff has talked this over and we have decided to deny this character. For an OC, we don't see as much depth as we would like to see as a whole. Since we have a ton of canon characters, for instance, we have to make sure that any OC would be a good fit in order to justify accepting them - since there are so many canon characters to chose from. We have to make sure that the character brings something different and unique to the melting pot and although you tried to do that, we just don't feel its enough. In otherwords, you really had to prove to us that this OC can make a spot for herself among all the dynamic rewritten characters from the canon.
