GREGORY IS CALLING TO LET YOU KNOW tHAT YOU MUST VOTE!That's right! Its that time again! If you can, please vote for every category though if you absolutely cannot think of anything, you can skip them. Voting ends October 31st. Each first place winner will get a small banner to put in their signature and their picture will be up in the sidebar. All award graphics will be kept in a thread located in this section. HOW THIS WORKS: Each first place mention receives 2 votes and each second place mention receives 1. Votes are tallied and a winner is announced. Also, we would love it if you give us a reason for why you're voting for them. Make sure not to just vote for the same person over and over again, and preferably not yourself. You can also give people "honorable mentions" if you simply just can't pick only 2 people for a category. Just mention them and although they won't be counted in voting, you can still give them props! Note that the same character cannot win in the same category two months in a row. Also note that for pairing it doesn't have to be all romantic, it can simply be a duo or tag team. Remember, you get points for voting! Female of the Month: 1. Charrie - Why 2. Female of the Month: 1. O. Frances Carlyle - First off, it's great to have Chess back here. Secondly, her take on Ophelia is new and fresh. I love how she writes such an interesting and spunky character. 2. AJ Scarlett - Well, because Laz is amazing, the character is a strong female character, and her posts are incredible.
Male of the Month: 1. Mycroft Holmes - Ahhhh Mikey. What can I say about Mikey? Probably a lot. This character is dynamic and so sarcastic. And I have a soft spot for sarcastic characters. I have the pleasure of having one thread with Mycroft (With James) and it is a hoot. 2. Gregory Lestrade - I just love him, okay?
Pairing of the Month: 1. Sebastian Martin and Mona "Lisa" Dragoti - Their thread is heartbreakingly beautiful and intense. These two have developed a poignant relationship very much akin to family. 2. Claudius Chandler and Harry Chandler - Do I really need to explain this? At all? Yols + Crazy/Deep/Emo Harry + Nessie + The Hobbit/the drunk Claudius = Win
Thread of the Month: 1. Glyphs and Grammars: Jiao Mahr, Gregory Lestrade, Sherlock Holmes - It's an epic thread, all the posts in it are incredible, and these three characters who don't seem like they should mix do. A must read. 2. Trapped: Mycroft Holmes and AJ Scarlett - It's hilarious. I love Laz and Luna and them in the same thread is brilliant. And hilarious.

Female of the Month:1. Jiao "Jo" Mahr - She's actually the only female character I've RPed with except Mona as of yet^^'. But she is a very lovely charie, and very, very fun . 2. ... - I'll (probably) fix this later...but I don't do much thread-stalking... Male of the Month:1. Hastie Lanyon - He's the doctor. Not The Doctor, but THE doctor, the coolest one ever, the one who says "golly" if you run into him. Isn't that reason enough? 2. Mycroft Holmes - Awesome Harvey businessmen man is awesome. <laughs> It's true, but honestly, Luna RPs Mycroft beautifully; her descriptions are, well, very descript, and when RPing with her, I could image everything Mycroft was doing in detail. Also Mycroft is a badass XD. Pairing of the Month:1. Mona and Seb - Their current, drama-filled thread is full of beautiful and very emotional posts, the two developing a very interesting and wonderful relationship. 2. Jim and Mycroft - JAM. I mean...Well, yes, Jam. Anyway, the two have a rather frustrating and hilarious relationship; their name-calling is more hilarious than anything though. Thread of the Month:1. Birds and Promises (Tommy and Jiao) - It's just...really adorable, that's why^^'. I love Tommy and Jiao's pretending to be pirates; it's just so charmingly cute . 2. I Need a Doctor, Call Me A Doctor (Hastie and AJ) - Again, like the previous said thread, it's very cute^^'. It's also very well-written on both sides of the posts, with some witty and rather funny dialogues. P.S. I enjoy that GIF XD

I realise I haven't quite been back even a month yet, but I sure as heck know my way around and think I've been stalking this place for long enough for me to open my trap and vote already ^_^ hope ya doing mind, Yols :P if you wanna discount me, I don't mind ^_^ just thought I'd throw myself in at the deep end first! (if you're cool with me invading the votes, please let me know if I haven't done this right!)
Female of the Month: 1. Jane Eyre - no, this is not me returning the compliment that she presented me (though, I suppose it kind of is...but that's not my initial intent!). I love how Jane works out and interacts with other characters. I really hope I get to write with her at some point! 2. Estella Havisham - she's really helped me figure out what kind of person I want Ophelia to be. Sure, a couple of other people have helped me work out various things, but having Stell that as an existing link made fitting into Ophelia that little bit easier and she's such a great character that I'm looking forward to being around when she pans out a little more.
Male of the Month: 1. James Moriarty - 'cause it's Jimmy FREAKING Moriarty! he's likeable for all the wrong reasons...which makes him oddly more likeable for me. I've not had a chance to write with him yet, but it has been discussed and the potential outcome seemed pretty messed up XD 2. Harry Chandler - yeah, he keeps cropping up, but I LOVE Yols' writing ^_^ Yols knows this. I loved it before and I never stopped loving it as I continued to stalk RC in my absence ^_^
Pairing of the Month: 1. Claudius and Harry Chandler - there's no denying I've been stalking Harry in particular since my return, but I love how these two characters work together...well, how they create a particular kind of dynamic, which is all together pretty perfect, despite intentionally being dysfunctional ;) 2. Roger Davis and Mimi Marquez - because even though the Mimi is new the dynamic I remember from Roger is still there and it still works wonderfully ^_^ I love getting to read Roger again and having Mimi there to compliment it is just delightful!
Thread of the Month: 1. Put An Antic Disposition On (Claudius and Harry Chandler) - see the reason under why I voted them for pairing XD also, Harry be craaazy! 2. THE GRAND BALLROOM: MAIN THREAD (various people) - it's just amazing seeing a lot of people in the same place working so well together! I'm just disheartened by the fact that it might be closed by the time I get around to making my mind up about posting there :(

Female of the Month: 1. Jehanne d'Arc - This character is absolutely sublime. I adore Thistle's re-reinvention of her (as it were, having revamped her from her original reinvention). Not only is the character of Jehanne incredibly reinvented and developed but Thistle's writing is excellent; I love how she writes Jehanne's thoughts as well as words. I have the pleasure of threading with her; I look forward to more! 2. Olivia Athos - The thread she has with Rickyboy at the moment is so incredibly awkward; it's fantastic to be a part of. That aside, Laz has a knack for recreating characters in brilliant and unexpected ways; that and her writing is stellar. Athos in particular is incredibly well developed and believable - I look forward to roleplaying with her seeing more of her about RC!
Male of the Month: 1. Sebastian Martin - Leffie's writing and interpretation of this character is powerful; he's so well written, so well fleshed out and brought to life... His relationship with Mona is wonderful to see develop and this character alone is simply stunning. 2. Sherlock Holmes - I was reading his thread with a certain Mister Moriarty the other day and I found it to be absolutely hilarious. Emmy writes Sherlock's inner dialogue so well and really gets under the skin of this particularly clever fellow. A joy to read.
Pairing of the Month: 1. Mycroft Holmes and AJ Scarlett - Their thread together is simply hilarious; the way these two characters who wouldn't ordinarily cross paths interact is just fantastic. They're so different and that's what makes their interactions such fun to read. 2. Mona Lisa Dragoti and Sebastian Martin - As others have mentioned, their relationship is devastating and beautiful all at once. I genuinely feel for both of them and am watching their current thread with great interest.
Thread of the Month: 1. Sunday Morning Scones (James Moriarty Edwards and Mycroft Holmes) - I love scones. In all honesty, the sarcastic-ness, the wit, the difficulty of their relationship, the scones...all this together is a big helping of win. 2. April's Fool (Jehanne d'Arc and Roger Davis) - Again, two characters who are very different come together, and the results of this are brilliant. Sammeh and Thistle play their characters masterfully - it's wonderful to read them both again and I look forward to seeing where this touching thread goes.

(seriously? only four people voted? pfft ) Female of the Month:1. "Jo March" Mahr - Again, unique take on the character, lovely well detailed posts, extremely active and willing to plot with everyone 2. Estella Havisham - For just starting out on the board, I'm fascinated by her character (especially reading her journal). I look forward to hearing more from her in threads. (Mentions: Phe of course, for bringing an awesome refreshing twist to the character - jehanne for being so steadfast in character) Male of the Month:1. Claudius Chandler - No I'm not biased because he's my uncle But he's so awesome to play opposite of and his general casual sauve-ness is just so entertaining lol 2. The Count of Monte Cristo - I'm sorry but IMO, its pretty crazy that Jaime hasn't gotten one of these yet lol. Monte Cristo is soooo intriguing as a character and the way he's played just always had this mysterious but mature quality. (Mentions: Hastie - great posts! Gregory Lestrade - I'm so intrigued by this guy) Pairing of the Month:1. Roger & Mimi - I've loved this pairing since day one and as always, sammeh plays roger epically and tali makes a great Mimi. I really do hope to see more of those two in action. 2. Seb & Mona - Echoing what others have said - deep threads and good dynamics Thread of the Month:1. I Need a Doctor, Call Me A Doctor (Hastie and AJ) - breaking the tie, I'm gonna go with this thread - because I agree. It is totally cute, and the inner monologues just make be giggle lol Its a great set up for two great characters. 2. Watching from the Window (Mona/Tommy) - this thread definitely caught my attention. So...witty and deep and kinda creepy? and kinda odd...but kinda awesome.
