I don't know about anyone else here, but music is a great way for me to find muse for certain characters or situations. I thought it would be a good idea to sort of compile muse inspiring songs for 'safe keeping' if you will. Also, when someone is having muse problems, they could always look at other people's songs to see if it might help or something. So! My muse songs are For James For Jane For Hector For Tommy

Music is how I get most of my muse!, since I only have one character now, Mona, I will post songs for her. Once and a while I will come back and change them. Breathe Me-Sia: Just the perfect Muse song for a down and out Mona. Lyrics are absolutely beautiful www.youtube.com/watchv=ghPcYqn0p4YCut-plumb: A wonderful song that is also just one of Mona's theme songs now, for obvious reasons. Perfect Situation-Wezzer This is the perfect song for Mona, and the perfect video, she's the main guy in it so just pretend lol XD Do Better_Say Anything: This reflects a bit of old and new Mona style, Old because it's basically saying that she can be better if she works for it, and Old because it's talking about how terrible the world is.

Hm... Well, for Lestrade:
And other things by the lovely Conor Oberst.
The day before I found Rewritten City, I'd watched this movie for the first time. I suppose it just sort of stuck with me.
Snow Patrol <3
I'm pretty sure I had this song on repeat while writing some of Lestrade's app. I'm not sure why, but... Whatever^^'.
I won't put anything for Cosette, since I've not posted for her yet, but I basically had "Wherever You Will Go by Charlene Soraia, A Thousand Years by Christina Perri and Skinny Love by Birdy playing over and over while I was writing her app.

I'm constantly listening to music when I post, and most of the time I do tend to be really picky. So I have lots of songs for Sherlock - but surprisingly little for Lanyon. >.< But I do think there are a lot more suitable songs on my iPod for Sherls. My muse songs (for Sherlock) consist (partially) of: Selfmachine - I Blame Coco. In fact, I'm mostly always listening to her album, 'The Constant' nowadays when I write him. It's marvelous. No Light, No Light - Florence + The Machine. Again, it'll just go on the the rest of the 'Ceremonials' album when this song's finished, so I end up listening to a lot of her songs. :3 Sail - Awolnation. Might be a leetle bit of a lie, because I only found this song yesterday. But I get a lot of Sherly muse when I hear it, so it's going on the list. Imitosis - Andrew Bird. Quite Sherlock-y? I think so. Asleep - The Smiths. I love this song. Really, really do. I'm quite sure it's my favourite - but my favourites have a tendency to change often. It's one of my recurring ones, anyway. Oh, and I want a mixtape with this song on twice. I could go on forever with this list. But that would be rambling for more than is necessary. And one of my New Year's Resolutions is not to ramble [as much]. It hasn't gone very well so far. And then Lanyon! To be honest, I'm not as picky. Please, Please, Please Let Me Get What I Want - The Smiths. Marvelous song. And I just love The Smiths in general, if it didn't already show. If I Had A Boat - James Vincent McMorrow. Again with the album, but this is usually the song that I start off playing. :3 This I really don't know the reason behind: But honestly, so much muse when I listen to it. It's unbelievable. Just For Now - Imgoen Heap. Oh, and the video's a bit random because the song is surprisingly hard to find on YouTube.

I should probably be on Lucy's account for this, but I'm not because LAZY. So. I'll be honest in saying that I have a playlist for my lil' prostitute already and it's tipping nearly 400 songs at the moment. >> What can I say? I listen to A LOT of music. I won't post the entire list here, though what I will do is put my playlist on shuffle and just post the first five that come up (minus the first one because that one is really her unofficial theme). Right then. Onwards and upwards. Bitter Sweet Symphony - The VerveWhat can I say about this song that the lyrics don't already? Change and the seeming impossibility of it. It isn't impossible, though. It's just really bloody hard. xD Certainly gets my creative juices flowing. Sigur Rós - HoppípollaMore for the actual music than the lyrics, although the lyrics do add to my inspiration. The orchestra is devastatingly beautiful and I just picture an entire lifetime passing by with each wonderful note of the piano. If ever there was a song that could embody nostalgia, this one is it. Happy!muse inducing. When the Sun Goes Down - Arctic MonkeysPretty obvious, I think. Prozzie and pimp. ;P No Rain - Blind MelonSo upbeat for a song with so much yearning and depression in it. Yearning for love, for staying true to yourself, for finding happiness in the simplest things. Overall, hoping that someone comes along that'll get you out of the rut you're in by loving you for who you are. Perfect for my lil' Luce. Cough Syrup - Young the GiantA brilliant metaphor for coping, if only temporarily. Because we all know that "cough syrup" doesn't cure you of the "common cold or flu". Just temporarily helps to get rid of the symptoms. And so what are you once you "come down" again? Still sick. I think, given her personality, this suits Luce and so I get a ton of muse from this. Note of adminness: I'll be getting the RC music player up and running soon and so this is already a great help for designating songs to your characters. ^^
