RC has survived another year and Jack the Ripper doesn’t seem too enthused! Here are the current events, even if Jack believes the only one of importance bears his signature.

It's the famous NYC New Year's Eve Bash - RC Style!
After the success of a great political year, Mayor Tormei has agreed to sponsor this spectacular event - fireworks, free drinks, food, games and all! However, all may not be as spectacular as it first appears when the festivities take a turn for the macabre and the first dawn of the new year is tinted a particular . . . blood red.
Any and all characters can participate in this event, just join the thread as and when you will. We'll be using the same premise as the Halloween thread (since this is essentially a reboot) - same location, same rooms and all, except you’re not required to post in the Grand Ballroom first and we’re going without the spiked punch this time.

Remember, things are different for the shop. Keep track of the things you have earned points for and don't forget to claim your points in the shop. For instance, if you're reaching a post count threshold or an anniversary, you have to let admins know in the site shop to get your points.

Okay guys!
As I am sure all of you have noticed, RC has taken a real nose dive with activity. The holidays are upon us! Between studying for finals, working with family-time, and coping with muse droughts, it's crunch time to keep this site alive. I'm turning to you guys for help. If you want to keep RC alive, then it's time for all of us to step up and do our parts.
Keep logging in every day with all accounts - it assures us that there are still people here and that we still matter. Keep plotting. Plot more! Plot all the plots! A lot of characters have unfortunately left us due to unforeseen circumstances, which leaves a lot of plots open for new interactions. Don't be scared to throw out some new ideas. Keep posting. For the love of god, keep posting. Posting is the whole point of RPing. I know it's discouraging when the site seems dormant, but all it takes is one or two people to step up and get the ball rolling again. The community we've built here on this site is incredible and it only takes a tiny bit of effort to breathe life back into this place. Let’s all give it a try and start this new year off right!
