Meet Siobhan Shaw: 27, model, DJ, and share holder. She’s kind, honest, and really dislikes being awake when the sun is up, but she does function during the day. Looking for: Friends: Siobhan is happy to have friends! She loves spending time with people, whether it’s just talking or doing something wild. However, she does have a mommy side, and she tends to mother anyone who she thinks needs it. Relationships: Siobhan is a romantic. She loves to be in love, and she’s had it returned by her late husband. She doesn’t expect to find that again, but she’s an eternal optimist and willing to try. Enemies: She’s only ever had one – her ex-husband. It took years for this to happen. Siobhan’s not sure what she would do with an enemy, but one is welcome to try. She does get her Irish ire up when she feels like she has to defend people she cares for, so there is opportunity for conflict. She’s up for anything! You know my guys, so if you could think of a way for her to meet either of them, shoot!
I'm really pretty bad at first-meetings , so I thought of some reasons characters might know Nyx already, if you wanted to do that instead.
Lestrade might know her parents or something; maybe he knew her dad or mother? I'm not sure where from Ireland you were thinking her parents being from, but if Lestrade was friendly with her parents he might have come to their funerals or something (for some reason I just thought of that movie where these two people only meet at funerals). Osric and Siobhan are relatively close in age, both optimistic and friendly, so I feel like if they met at any point in their lives in the right situations, they would become friends. (Osric came to NYU when Siobhan would've been around 22.) Maybe they used to help each other out sometimes or something. I dunno.

Hey Gabby!
I love the idea of Lestrade having known Siobhan's parents! It would be an interesting way to know someone, haha! Umm, I never set it in stone where her folks were from, so it's flexible! But I do love this idea! We will PM and figure out details.
As for Osric, she'd adore him. Maybe they know each other because she DJs and he is a musician? I could see that being likely!

Hey there! I'd love to crack up a role play with Christine and Nyx. They both have similar backgrounds; Coming from poverty, and losing their fathers. Plus, Christine is in desperate need of a mother figure. She has a grandmother type figure on her death bed, and that's the only real family she has left. Christine is sorta isolated, but she's slowly starting to come out of her shell. I think she could learn a lot from Nyx. I've had some problems thinking of how they could meet. Maybe Nyx's company is holding some kind of charity event, and Christine volunteers to work there? She's an over-achiever. She'd totally hang out longer than needed to help out. She could be one of the last people left. Maybe they'd get into a conversation? Let me know what you think. I don't mind coming up with some more ideas if this doesn't work!  |

Hey Spring! I think that they would have a blast RPing together! Siobhan would definitely feel motherly towards Christine, especially with how quiet and introverted she seems to be! And they really do seem to have a lot in common (I just read her app) and could definitely get along! I know what you mean! It is hard to consider first meetings, haha. I like the idea of Christine working for a Shaw Foundation event! That could be fun! They do fundraisers in high society often! Siobhan is very hands on with her charity events, so they would definitely have the opportunity to sit and talk after the big wigs left. She likes to talk and check in on how those who work for her are doing, as she's been where they are. Let me know if you have anything specific you would want in the thread so we can hammer out the details and get this rolling! I look forward to these two interacting!  |

I thought so, too! I remember reading your app and thinking 'these two HAVE to rp'. They do have a lot in common! Anyway, that sounds great! I think we have everything covered. There isn't anything I can think of that needs to be talked about; We can just set things up and see how they interact. Do you want to make the starting post, or should I? Can't wait to rp! |

Would LOVE to have Marguerite's intro thread be with Nyx, doing a promo on her radio show of the new Broadway show and more talk with the famous European Actress. What do you say? Doesn't have to be incredibly long unless you want it to.
