00V. description Loki likes to dress formally. He tends to have a clean-cut look about him. He stands tall with pride of himself. His voice is sly and mischievous, always speaking fine words. Though on the other hand, he is skilled at changing just the tiniest details, and looking like an entirely different person. He can go from a well off gentleman to a short greasy beggar. He uses this to his advantage as a conman. He deceives people with one appearance, and then again with another. Though his general appearance stays the same, and an over all easy atmosphere follows him everywhere. He carries a Curved knife around with him in the a back pocket. He never goes anywhere without it. He has small scars around his lips from having his mouth sewn shut. When he smiles they appear more vividly. He takes great pride in those scars.
00I. overall personality Loki is sly, he loves to make others angry at each other. He starts trouble, meaning for it to be only a joke. He loves to outwit others and he see that as a form of fun. He is skilled at finding what makes people tick. When telling others of happenings he can bend it, or make it up and still make it sound believable. He is extremely deceptive, and loves to use that skill. If one doesn't want to go mad because of him, one mustn't take Loki too seriously. Basically, he's just one big joke.
Loki doesn't take others seriously either, he acts like they are his equal whether they are or not. He is quite cheeky around those he knows. Though when some one means him trouble, he'll quickly try to slither out of the way. When a problem comes Loki always tries to find away out of it, which often leads to more problems for him. When it comes to misfortunes Loki is a coward, he does what he will to keep his skin on him. Though, he is usually the one to cause his own misfortune due to his deceptive nature.
Loki doesn't necessarily have a legitimate fear. If he does have one it would probably be dying. He does take threats seriously, and never wishes for them to be carried out. Thus if you threaten him properly you can get him to do as you wish. Though, if your threat is meaningless to Loki he will mock you about disgraceful or humiliating things that you have done. If you get him to make an oath or promise (and as a liar he is quick to do so) he will not break it for any matter. He holds his oaths with pride.
Loki isn't very forgiving. When angered he is one to fight back, whether the person is stronger or not. If humiliated he will take vengeance no matter what. He will get it through family if he must, though he doesn't like to because it's what he calls "a cowardice act." He doesn't care if it will cause more misfortune to him, he just wants to get back.
Loki never cries, no matter what. Ever since his father sewn his lips shut for crying, he imediately stopped. He can't remember the last time he shed a tear. Instead of crying, even if he's sad Loki will take it out on someone. It's best not to be reckoned with when Loki is angery, sad, or humiliated.

+Can see through others' lies.
III. weaknesses

00I. notable family & friends His wife Sigyn (I'm letting people change the names to their choosing if they want to play them) who is oddly faithful and obedient.
0II. overall history Loki was born in Norway. His parents left when he was only five because they couldn't care for him. His father was a drunk and used all of their money to buy alcohol. His mother was a nurse at a hospital who worked as much as she could to get money to support the family. When he was only a toddler, his father got sick of his crying and sewn his mouth shut. His mother found what her husband had done and ripped off the thread. On the streets he learned to pickpocket and shop lifting quickly. After taking a watch from Odin, he was adopted into the family. The new family Loki was now apart of moved to Denmark. Quickly he got bored of home life, and he left the family.
Once again on the streets he continued to steal. Often selling what he took in pawn shops. After long while and around the age of ten, Loki had gotten enough money to leave Denmark, a place he thought of as dreary and boring. Taking all of his belongings, which wasn't very much, he set out to an airport. As he bought a ticket, he tricked the woman into think he was going to America to visit family. In truth Loki was going there to get away from all of the things he thought were holding him back. That was his first of many cons.
The plane landed in New York. Not having much money, Loki decided to stay. He found a cheap apartment to stay in, also conning the owner. He continued to pickpocket, and sell at assorted pawn shops until old enough to get work with out being questioned of why? He enjoyed his life in New York. He found it rather lively, and enjoyable.
In his late teens Loki began to work more respectable jobs than stealing. He worked at as many places that would hire him. He often got fired for his pranks, anger, or lack of work. He worked on the things that people thought of as problems, and slowly his amount of time he worked at one job increased. Though, in his free time he would con people and thievery.
At 29 years old Loki met Sigyn. The two fell in love and got married quickly. They had two children, Narvi and Váli. After a great deal of time, Loki got bored with such a faithful woman. He had an affair with another woman, together they had Fenrir, Hel, and Jörmungandr. When Sigyn found out she forgave Loki. The two of them decided it would be best if they lived apart for a while. Thus Sigyn and their children left to live with some relatives for sometime.
Loki continued to work and gain more money. He also continued to do small crimes. He rarely got caught, and if he did he slithered his way out of trouble. He also continued with jobs. When ever a boss found Loki stole and conned, he was flat out fired. Loki continued living like that without as much as a care of what he was doing.
III. sample postLoki walked down the street in a clean polo shirt and dress pants. His pace was long strides that showed pride in himself. The corner of his mouth slightly curved up with the tiniest hint of a smile. he saw a well dressed pompous looking man walking his way. The man's pocket bulging with a wallet full of cash.
Loki hit the jackpot. He purposefully sped up. He was headed in a collision course straight for the man. He ran his left elbow and side right into the man's side. The man turned to yell at Loki. While he was turning to yell back, Loki snuck his right hand into the pocket to get the wallet.
"Why don't you watch where you're going you klutzy impudent fool!" the man's face turned beat red in anger. Loki gave the man many apologies in Norwegian just to confuse him. The man's face turned even redder which, to Loki's surprise, was actually possible. Loki gave the man an ear to ear grin, and ran off with his wallet hidden in the armpit.
When he was a block or two away, Loki stopped to catch his breath. He sat down at an outdoor café. He opened the wallet to find a good sized wad of cash, and an ID. After he had lunch at the little Café he would change the small details to make it one of his many fake IDs.
The waitress came up to him, and took his order. She seemed to be flirting with him. He had his lunch with out as much as a notice to her in such way she wanted. She gave up after the fourth visit to his table. He enjoyed the attention he was getting from her.
Loki went home to his small apartment. There he spent a good hour and a half changing the ID to fit his description. When he was done he put it with his many pick pocketed wallets that covered a shelf on a book case. Satisfied with that days work he grabbed a bottle of mead, and drank it all in one draught.
He had a feeling tomorrow would be just as good.
