CURRENT THINGS TO KNOW:

• STAFF AUDITIONS
  This month myself and the lovely Al will be hosting auditions for new members of staff - most likely two. We want RC to be as awesome as possible and for that we need more hands on deck, as the old saying goes. Keep you peepers peeled for this!
  
  
• SITE BACKGROUND CHANGE
  This issue has been under debate for awhile now and the decision has been made to make a poll. There has been a background created by the amazing Spring but if that does not suit you can create an alternate background yourself/suggest one or leave the site as is. I must say though, Spring's background looks pretty flipping fabulous.
  
  Be on the lookout for this poll. ^^
  
  
• NYT INACTIVITY
  The New York Times has been a tad inactive for awhile now guys - remember, if you post an article or even a response to one, you get points to spend on something spiffy. (: Send in your problems to Agony Aunt Augusta, send your dreams in to be analysed by Madame Minerva and keep the Times up to date with all the media worthy events in your characters' lives!
  
  
• NEW YEAR’S EVE PLOT
  It's the famous NYC New Year's Eve Bash - RC Style!
  
  After the success of a great political year, Mayor Tormei has agreed to sponsor this spectacular event - fireworks, free drinks, food, games and all! However, all may not be as spectacular as it first appears when the festivities take a turn for the macabre and the first dawn of the new year is tinted a particular . . . blood red.
  
  Any and all characters can participate in this event, just join the thread as and when you will. We'll be using the same premise as the Halloween thread (since this is essentially a reboot) - same location, same rooms and all, except you’re not required to post in the Grand Ballroom first and we’re going without the spiked punch this time. Happy New Year!
  
  This is still very much ongoing guys - keep posting! (: Things are already getting a bit crazy - lets keep the crazy going! ^^
  
  
• BRAINSTORM SECTION
  Just because the brainstorm section has moved to the bottom of the board doesn't mean you can't use it! We still have prompts going that you can post in for points. You can also create prompts yourself for others to partake in to generate muse as well as points.
  
  
• SITE SHOP
  Remember, things are different for the shop. Keep track of the things you have earned points for and don't forget to claim your points in the shop. For instance, if you're reaching a post count threshold or an anniversary, you have to let admins know in the site shop to get your points.
  
  We also need ideas of what other cool things you'd might want to by in the site shop so we're looking for suggestions! Click!
