Claudius is just as amazed as I am that these awards are up! It's been AGES since the last one, for which I can only apologize, but it's that time again! If you can, please vote for every category. If you absolutely cannot think of anything, though, you can skip them.
Voting ends 30th of July. Each first place winner will get a small
banner to put in their signature and their picture will be up in the
sidebar. All award graphics will be kept in a thread located in this
section.
HOW THIS WORKS:
Each first place mention receives 2 votes and each second place
mention receives 1. Votes are tallied and a winner is announced.
Also, we would love it if you give us a reason for why you're voting for them. Make sure not to just vote for the same person over and over again, and preferably not yourself. You can also give people "honorable mentions" if you simply just can't pick only 2 people for a category. Just mention them and although they won't be counted in voting, you can still give them props!
Note that the same character cannot win in the same category two months in a row.
Also note that for pairing it doesn't have to be all romantic, it can simply be a duo or tag team. Remember, you get points for voting!

Award voting? What is this?!  This is the first time I'll actually vote properly, I think^^'. Female of the Month:1. Siobhan Shaw - I absolutely love her. She's so sweet and just an amazing strong woman, and I love how Tens writes, as always. She's very adorable! 2. Victoria Frankenstein - She might be prone to disappearing, but her posts are great. Her character's interesting, and she gets more fun as she warms up to people. And she indulges Osric. Male of the Month:1. Peter Aramis - Because he's awesome in every way possible and Tens plays him wonderfully! I've loved every single thread I've done with this character, and there's been a lot! He's wonderfully nice, which I like, and fun. 2. Perry Goestzke - I've yet to thread with Perry, but I've really liked reading all the threads he's been in. He's interesting and amusing. Pairing of the Month:1. Perry and Jane - Their threads have been hilarious and their strange little friendship is funny and unique! Their relationship is just wonderful. 2. Peter and Guy - These two characters just sort of naturally click, since Peter's so caring and uncaring about Guy's habits. Their slightly awkward interactions are cute! Thread of the Month:1. Deja Brew (Perry and Zander) - This thread is all sorts of awesome. For one; isn't it obvious? I mean, the brothers are finally meeting up, hurray! What I especially love is the comedy in this thread, from Zander's complete inability to remember people to both characters' bluntless. I'm really excited to see what will come out of this. 2. Daffodils (Mycroft and James) - Well, James stealing people from the hospital, cleaning and being all caring-but-still-Jimmy: it can't get much better from him. It's nicely sweet and serious, but not too serious. |

Female of the Month:
1. Mona Lisa Dragoti – My boys have yet to interact with Mona, but she has spunk! I love reading her threads and seeing how she unapologetically interacts with the other characters and look forward to her becoming more active again!
2. Anne Sophie Plantagenet – Anne is a fascinating woman who brings out the drama in everyone she interacts with! Not to mention how she manages to get half naked in every thread!
Male of the Month:
1. Gregory Lestrade – No matter what, this character is always trying to help the people he comes across and is an awesome friend. I don’t know his fandom well, but his character makes me want to dive in and read more about it!
2. Richard Plantagenet – He is a character who is always planning, plotting, conniving, and generally keeping us all on our toes! I adore how he says one thing, means another, and does something else without batting an eyelash.
Honorable Mention: Osric! He’s a great character who’s really gaining speed!
Pairing of the Month:
1. Claudius and Jane – I adore how different they are, but how well they interacted together on their night out on the town! Jane being so naive, Claudius trying so hard to make it a good night...awesome!
2. Claudius and Osric – I just got a kick out of their interaction and am looking forward to more of it in the future!
Thread of the Month:
1. Daffodils (James and Mycroft) – I have to say, I enjoyed this thread! It was funny, caring, a bit sad, and I would not have expected these two to get on as well as they do! Over all, an excellent thread!
2. Hell on the Throat (Lestrade and Sherlock) – I really love intense Lestrade and Sherlock definitely brought that out in him! As well, I loved how these two viewed the same situation from completely different angles to make the thread work. It was great!

Female of the Month:
1. Mona Dragoti - Because her character is brilliant and lovely and tortured.
2. Siobhan Shaw - Another flawless character from Tens. Amazing, calm, and so caring.
Male of the Month:
1. Osric Young - A wonderfully active, fun character. It's nice to see a character that's light and energetic.
2. Zander Devereaux - Because he's amazing. He's such a lovable spoiled brat who has a narrow mind. It's lovely.
Pairing of the Month:
1. Claudius and Osric - There's something entirely too entertaining about these two.
2. Siobhan and Lestrade - Their interaction is beautiful and sincere. A unique dynamic and they play off of each other nicely.
Thread of the Month:
1. Based on a True Story: Siobhan and Lestrade - ^^^^^
2. Raindrops on Roses: Christine Daae and Osric Young - An active, unexpected threat. I've enjoyed it immensely since it's begun.

Female of the Month:
1. Siobhan Shaw - I have yet to thread with her, but I can't help myself from falling in love with the character. Tens had once again blew me away with her character and I am excited to see more of Siobhan.

Male of the Month:
1. Osric Young - I love threading with Osric, seriously. He flows so smoothly and is just perfect if you want a entertaining time!
2. Gregory Lestrade - Lestrade is a character I will never get tired of threading with! Gabby you have made him into someone that takes all abuse yet never gets knocked down!
Pairing of the Month:
1. Claudius and Osric - I havn't been back long, but even I can tell how great these two are together!
2. Perry and Jane - These two are just so cute together, you can't help but just fall in love with them both.
Thread of the Month:
1. Check Please (Jane and Zander) - I love the connection that instantly happens in this thread! It doesn't seem forced or designed to be a certain way. It just flows together perfectly, something I really love. Plus it has pictures!and who doesn't love pictures?
2. Isn't it Lovely (Osric and Guy) - This thread made me laugh when I started to read it. I just love the awkwardness of Guy and the almost childlike excitement that Osric has!

Female of the Month:
1. Mona Dragoti - I love her snarkiness and her confidence, as well as her interactions with all sorts of characters.
2. Siobhan Shaw - As others have said, another fantastic character from Tens, compassionate and caring.
Male of the Month:
1. Gregory Lestrade - His interactions with Richard were of great amusement to be - he can be awkward, funny and all sorts as well as being professional. I'm also enjoying reading his interactions with Peter.
2. Peter Aramis - Not only is he a very active character but he's very well played and interacts well with characters ranging from the kids he plays basketball with to Her Ladyship - I can't wait to see how that thread goes!
Pairing of the Month:
1. Jane/Perry - Jane's first meeting with Perry was hilarious and her developing relationship with him is great to see.
2. Mona/Hector - An unusual pairing which I look forward to seeing more from, considering their personalities!
Thread of the Month:
1. Check Please (Zander/Jane) - The interactions between these two are simply brilliant, with Zander's ideas about Jane and Jane's innocent enthusiasm.
2. Hit The Switch (Osric/Sebastian) - The combination of Osric's childlike enthusiasm and Seb's lack thereof makes for a fun thread to read.
