The stories of Alice in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass, contain numerous characters, each one more fantastical than the next. This is a little guide to help you incorporate these crazy characters into present day New York.
Is a dreamscape. Think of Inception, only there are no machines connecting the occupants. But if you die in the dream, you wake up. The selection of people that appear in this dream is completely random, and someone may visit there once, but never do so again. However, a certain group of individuals have seemingly been chosen by fate to visit there nearly every time they sleep. These people influence Wonderland. What it is and what it will become.
Each person can choose how much their character remembers. Either it be fuzzy little details, or everything down to the color of the shoes of the first person they talked to since entering Wonderland. However, each character appears in the dream as they are in life. So, Alice, for example, looks in real life to be a twenty five year old woman, with brown hair and brown eyes and is dangerous underweight. In Wonderland, she is the same. Although, she may be wearing a dress instead of pajamas.

-Alice Carey Mulligan;;

-Mad Hatter Andrew Lee Potts ;;
occupation::
in wonderland:: sells contraband that the queen has prohibited[/ul]
description:: english. a trouble maker. but all in good fun. he is Alice's best friend inside Wonderland, although they've never met in real life. he's generally a good guy, despite his trouble making ways. i'd personally like him to be secretly in love with Alice, but that's up to you. perhaps he could remember the dreams well, and remembered Alice mentioning moving to New York, and that's the reason why he moved there.

-White Rabbit Jeremy Davies ;;
occupation::
in wonderland:: he runs errands for the queen[/ul]
description:: owning a clock store, the rabbit has a fear of all of his clocks being wrong in the store and the bells on the grandfather clocks tolling over and over again. his real life fear, contributes to his problem in wonderland of his pocket watch, leading to him always being late. this usually momentarily pisses off the queen, causing her to sentence him to death quite frequently. he always comes back though, and the cycle continues. in real life, he is probably nervous, timid, and feeble from lack of deep sleep.

-Cheshire Cat Michael Caine ;; Terry O'Quinn ;; Anthony Stewart Head
occupation::
in wonderland:: a guide to those that are new to the dream[/ul]
description:: an older, wiser character. he's known as the Cheshire Cat simply because it's a nickname he has chosen, owning several cats in real life and being born and raised in Cheshire, England. he has been in wonderland for the longest out of any of it's frequent visitors. he is known for his large, infectious smile, his habit of frequently disappearing, and speaking in riddles.
[/ul][/blockquote]
-March Hare Zach Braff ;;

[/ul][/blockquote]
-Queen of Hearts Winona Ryder ;;

-The Caterpillar Alan Rickman ;;
occupation::
in wonderland:: a hookah smoking guide[/ul]
description:: he is an unusual man, known in wonderland for his extensive drug use and being unshakably mellow. he offers help in wonderland from time to time, but would generally just rather watch what happens. although he is older than the cheshire cat, he didn't start visiting wonderland until years after the cat did. a sore spot for him, as the him and cheshire cat have a sort of rivalry in wonderland.
