[SUNNY CRUSOE]

Meet Sunny – the man who’s done it all. With a degree in Engineering, he’s been the Electrician’s Mate aboard ship with the United States Navy, seen ports all over the world, held the position of sole inhabitant of “The Island of Despair” and been diagnosed with Schizophrenia (a lie, he’ll assure you). Now, as a novelist in New York City with a short attention span and a charming smile to get him by, he’s up for adventure in a land he’s not too sure is real.

What Sunny’s Up For:

Friends: If you can convince him that you’re real, he’ll be your friend. Heck, even if you can’t, everyone needs an invisible friend once in a while, so he’ll go along with it.

Enemies: Sunny seems to rub a lot of people the wrong way. He doesn’t try to get on most people’s nerves, unless they’re medical professionals, which means they’re all evil and fair game.

Lovers: Again, if you can convince him you’re real, he may be up for something. But he’s a schizophrenic (allegedly) and gets moody, agitated, and has trouble living in close quarters with other people, so it would be an adventure.

Aside from that, Sunny is often in trouble for acting out things in his imagination, loves seafood, and doesn’t like cold weather, so if you’d like to plot, drop a note!

[OSRIC YOUNG]

Depending on what kind of books Sunny's written, Gregory and / or Osric are liable to have read them - both enjoy reading.

I'm not sure if Gregory and he would get along - he's a bit bumbly. Osric thinks everyone is cool, but he would of course think Sunny's really cool, because of the adventurous-engineer-military-person-writer, or whatever he assumes at the moment. Sunny may or may not think both of them idiots, but Osric is fun-loving, and he's up for anything. Gregory-the-cop could be found getting Sunny out of a kind of stitch, if needed, so that could create something. I don't have any specific ideas but I'm open to whatever.

Hey Gabby,

Sunny is kind of all over the map with his writing, seeing as how he writes anything that comes to mind, so he doesn't even have a genre to be lumped into (which really irks his publishers). Seriously, he has a book about a cowboy, a book about Hawai'i back when it was first colonized, a book about being homeless in Saigon...You get the picture, haha. He does have a series of novels about a retired Naval Commander who gets roped into adventures to thwart terrorists and the like, and another series about a drug runner in Miami who seems to get slapped once a novel by his new love interest whilst evading the cops.

Greg & Sunny - Greg is the kind of person who would have trouble reigning Sunny in or keeping him on topic, but that could be fun! As a cop, he probably deals with him the most when he does something weird that holds up life, like when he decides to lay in the middle of the road to see if it would work as a good protest for a character he's writing or something. He certainly wouldn't think he was an idiot, but he would know he could get away with a lot when he's dealing with Greg. We should get a thread going!

Osric & Sunny: Osric would be one of those people Sunny wouldn't think is real. He has trouble comprehending that people actually read his books (He just writes them, lets his editor look them over, then his publisher sends him a professionally printed book for his shelf - it takes up much less space than the print out from his computer, after all) so for Osric to be interested and excited would be something he would suspect his mind invented. But he would probably get a kick out of Osric and enjoy his company. Sunny enjoys being around happy people!

Anyways, we should definitely get something going! Let me know what you think!

Ooh, well, any of those books sound interesting! I think Greg probably would've read his series-books, and Osric, well, anything.

Greg - I would love to do a thread having to do with Sunny... lying in the middle of the road. Would they already know each other or not?

Osric - Well, Osric's weirdness also makes him a good candidate to un-realness. Osric could perhaps see him in a shop, or the park, or anywhere, and bounce up to him all excited? They can talk about random fun stuff, maybe.

I'd be happy to start thread for Sunny with either of my boys!

Greg & Sunny: I'm glad Greg would have gotten into his series! Sunny has quite the imagination. As for the thread, I can work it either way. If you have more inspiration for one or the other, I'm good with it. It would be an interesting first meeting, and it would also work for a 'not again' moment. Did you want to get the ball rolling on it?

Osric & Sunny: These two...would be hilarious. I could definitely see Sunny going along with it just for kicks if Osric were to rush up to him and just start babbling. Again, he wouldn't think he was real, but that's Sunny for you!

So, if we want to get things going, I'd love it!
