This is AJ Scarlett, the female reincarnation of Will Scarlett. She’s in need of a few charries so, here it goes. I put in some possible playbys to break up the text a bit and perhaps give you an idea or two. Don’t worry you don’t have to stick to the playby. They are just a potential suggestion.
The Merriest of Men
Robin Hood Josh Hutcherson
– obviously, you know who this guy is and if you don’t get out right now. He’s the leader of the gang of Merry Men and an essential player.
Little John Andrew Lee Potts
Robin’s best mate. These two are inseparable and always have each other’s backs.
Alan A'dale Robert Sheehan
Ragamuffin, rascal, hoodlum. Any of those adjectives explain this wiry little spit fuck. He’s devious, cunning, and the one that gets in the most trouble. He’s most likely going to shoot his mouth off or get the gang busted. So Robin and AJ often have to tell him to keep a lid on it. But, he’s exceptionally loyal and good at heart.
Maid Marion Kate Mcgrath
– Robin’s love interest and usually portrayed as somewhat unobtainable. So in this case she’s probably family friends with some of the big business CEO’s or some such thing.
Much Rupert Grint
– Often forgotten about, Much is the miller’s son who gets caught poaching and joins Robin’s gang after Robin saves his life. Much, like Alan, is a bit too talkative for his own good but, he has much less of a backbone. He’s loyal but, also easily frightened.
There are a few other named characters that are in the gang but, the above mentioned are the most well known.
Allies
Friar Tuck Paul Bettany
– Local clergy man and friend of the merry men. He often aids them when they need shelter or have to get out of trouble in a hurry. He’s hip in comparison to the majority or religious men.
King Richard Greg Kinnear
I picture King Richard as the politician who is really ecologically aware. Basically, he’s the Al Gore of the Senate.
Villainous Counterparts
Sheriff of Nottingham Kevin Spacey
CEO and bastard of Nottingham Industries he’s the guy you love to hate. He makes life a living hell for the Merry Me and they constantly try and sabotage his company. He’s also the one who ordered the hit on AJ’s father so there is a personal vendetta there.
PS While I mentioned earlier that PB’s could be changed… I would really love to see Kevin Spacey as Nottingham. So, I mean you can use someone else but, I do love me some K-Space.
Guy of Gisbourne Tom Sturridge
A close associate of Nottingham, I picture Guy as an intern who is desperately seeking approval and more importantly power. He’s got ambition and tries to hide his heart. I would love to see a romantic relationship blossom between Guy and AJ. I think that would be really, really fun!
