Doolittle walked into his home and paused, feeling a general sense that something wasn't right. He turned the light on to discover that the place had been ransacked.
He paused with a chill that he knew didn't come from the wind that blew through the broken window. Papers were scattered around his floor as were drawers. However the cabinets seemed to be untouched as well as some other drawers. Toilet paper streamed through the rafters and his favorite chair was smashed to pieces.
Aside from that nothing seemed to be touched.
It took him a while and a glass of brandy for him to calm down enough in order to do what was necessary.
Five minutes later John had called the authorities and was attempting to inventory his possessions without disturbing the crime scene.
He sighed and sat in a different chair, trying to get the nerve up to try and discover the extent of the damage.
((OOC: The other rooms are similar to this one. Fairly untouched save a few dumped out drawers. His bed is torn to shreds. His study is the exception to this. Books litter the floor, some torn apart. All of the furniture, save the desk is smashed. The desk is an island of order in the chaos, untouched save for a copy of Moreau's book, a knife stabbed into the cover, through John's face and left there.))
