IT'S VOTING SEASON AGAIN!



Zander's not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing. Let's settle on a good thing. Wait, season? Yes, awards have now been changed to seasonal. And such, as we end the days of colorful leaves, unless you're Emmy and live on an island where they cut all of them down, we enter the freezing troughs of WINTER. The misery begins December 21! Points will be awarded to all who vote - and soon we'll have things you can do with them.

Now, for the usual:

HOW THIS WORKS:
Each first place mention receives 2 votes and each second place
mention receives 1. Votes are tallied and a winner is announced.
We'd love it if you gave us a short reason for why you're voting for them, just to make everyone feel good. Make sure not to just vote for the same person over and over again, and preferably not yourself. You can also give people "honorable mentions" if you simply just can't pick only 2 people for a category. Just mention them and although they won't be counted in voting, you can still give them props!

The same character cannot win male or female award twice in a row, or the same two people can not win pairing or thread of the month again (though one of the two in the pair is fine). So don't vote for Summer's winners in the category they won. Note that for pairing it doesn't have to be all romantic, it can simply be a duo or tag team. Remember, you get points for voting! Winners are awarded fifty points themselves.

2. Jane Eyre - Because she kicks ass that's why. And she's just so damn adorable.

Male Award:
1. Peter Aramis - I think I've stated in enough reasons over the past few months just how awesome I find Peter. So yeah. Poor perfect baby.
2. Claudius Chandler - Claudius is just a really cool guy. I absolutely love his dialogue. He has a way of being completely serious and hilarious at the same time.

Pairing Award:
1. Claudius and Zander - These two get on flawlessly. And funnily.
2. Max Sherlock and Peter - Need I say more?

Thread Award:
1. Here Comes The Night (Sherlock + Peter) - These two. THESE TWO. Together, are just. The funniest thing ever. And I want to strangle both of them.
2. Vogue (Perry and Jane) - I don't know why really, but I found this thread confusing and yet still pretty funny.

Female Award:
1. Jane Eyre - Because Jane is adorable. And amusing. And getting drunk in her thread with Claudius. Which amuses me far too much!
2. Paz Sotamayo - I realize its probably bad form to nominate the same person twice but with different characters but I want to acknowledge how excited I am to see our only current OC in action - I love the idea of her character and can't wait to see who she'll meet in her open thread!

Male Award:
1. Zander 'Zeus' Devereux - I'm finding his interactions with Claudius hilarious, and his continual need to make people feel better (I must admit I'm thinking of Claudius and Rickyboy here) makes me smile. I also love his forgetfulness and subsequent amusing names for people. XD
2. Sherlock Holmes - Because he's Sherlock Holmes? No, seriously, Sherlock is played fantastically by Emmy and his current thread with Peter is a source of great amusement to me. (:

Pairing Award:
1. Zander and Osric - These two interact in a way that is both hilarious and poignant - I love to see them acting like little kids in their current thread and I look forward to seeing more from them!
2. Jane and Perry - I find this pairing both unusual and interesting - I really enjoy watching their relationship develop and seeing how they interact in different situations, such as their first meeting on Perry's boat and in their current thread.

Thread Award:
1. Vogue (Perry and Jane) - Its random and hilarious. I'm really enjoying reading it; the awkwardness and amusement in equal measure are a great source of entertainment.
2. What a Piece of Work is Man (Siobhan and Lestrade) - Its interesting in this thread to see a relationship formed prior to the thread continue, if that makes sense.

Female Award:

1. Lady Catherine de Bourgh. I absolutely love her. The way she just owns the situation is awesome!

2. Jane Eyre. Jane is a strong character and she’s always got something interesting on the go. Painting Perry, for example! Lucky chick

Male Award:

1. Sherlock Holmes. Oh the things this boy gets up to! I’m getting a real kick out of how Emmy writes him and how true to the renditions he is. Plus he’s pulling a fast one on poor Peter, so that’s pretty epic.

2. Osric Young. He’s a friendly character who is always up to something, from baking random people cinnamon buns to teaching guitar. He’s a versatile character and I enjoy reading threads with him in them.

Pairing Award:

1. Claudius & Jane - Their thread is just getting going, but it already spells out an interesting night ahead and I am looking forward to seeing how these two handle things! I always enjoy reading the pair together!

2.Penelope & Osric - Their current thread is cute!


Thread Award:

1. Gimme (Sherlock & Mycroft) - I sort of love how Sherlock stumbles into this one because he's curious, haha. And poor Mycroft has far too many threads in the hospital! It's a great thread!
2. Bottom's Up (Claudius & Jane) – This one is just getting started but I already watch to see if anyone's replied, haha. Jane + Claudius + Alcohol = one heck of a mess. I love it!
