It would seem that Mr. Crusoe is confused. Why, you ask? Well, it seems that he’s missing the one thing he desperately needs – a Mr. Friday!
For those of you familiar with Robinson's story, you know that his way of surviving on The Island of Despair was by rescuing his companion - Friday - who became his friend, confidant, and so on and so forth. He and Friday relied on each other for everything, and even though he’s off the island, Sunny still needs a Friday on this new Island of Manhattan!
I just have two requirements and the rest of this character’s life/personality/what have you is totally up to you:
1. Friday’s job would have to be as Sunny’s assistant – a job that pays quite well, as it translates to confident, friend, nanny, mischief partner, etc. Whether Friday even likes Sunny is up to you!
2. He must be a man. Sunny just walks all over female assistants, which is never fun. Friday’s no push over, so he can and will reign Sunny in when he gets caught up in his own little world (which is why he has the job).
As for play by’s, that’s totally up to you, but here are some suggestions (and yes, I think we need a bit of diversity around here, so they’re all African American actors):
