Evenings in this part of town, whether it was a work night or leisure night, were always full. Tartarus Tavern was one of the toughest dive bars around, known for good music and cheap drinks. All it had were two slightly banged up pool tables, a card table, and a dart board. Nothing fancy, but it didn't need to be. The walls were covered in Styx N' Stones Memorabilia; pictures of the MC participating in charity runs and doing community service. It was all for show over pride, but rarely did people comment. The bar itself was filled with MC members and associates, as well as some known locals that wanted to get away from the flashy night life the city offered and just wanted a clean place with good liquor to drink their day away.
That was just how Cole liked it.
He folded out of the heated poker game going on, letting his brothers and a few locals have their fun betting their hard earned money on the cards. He liked his bar just like it was then, busy but not overcrowded. Nice and comfortable. He walked over to the bar, nodding his head at his lady. "Bring me a fresh one Dollface," he winked at her, keeping his eyes only on her and not at any of the little tarts that pranced nearby, serving drinks to the patrons. Dotty was sweeter than apple pie, but she behind that had one mean jealous streak. At least when it came to him. Sometimes, Cole thought she wasworse than him.
Only sometimes though.
"How's the night goin' darlin'?" His eyes quickly survived the area, on the look out for a potential client or one of those cops that pretended they were all slick, coming in to check the place out. His Ol' Lady would know what to look for, and he trusted her as much, if not more, than his club members..
