Plot w/ Helen
Full profile: clickBrief Information: Helen is 22, a sketch artist for the NYPD, a part-time student at NYU (Art History and Psychology double with minor in French), a part-time bartenders and a freelance artist. She is an independent woman looking to find her place among self-sufficient and stable adults, her childhood lacking such people. She isn't one to get emotionally close to anyone, especially men, using them for physical purposes and going through them quite quickly. She is witty and mannerly, yet possesses a hot temper. Helen's main interests are drawing and running, also possessing an affinity for coffee. She Needs: EVERYTHING. I see her with many acquaintances, perhaps from bartending. I would love to have some upper class people who commission her to do artwork. As far as men go, love interests will be nonexistent for her though she's open to using men for flings. Helen isn't a girly-girl so I am interested to see how she plays with women. She can be prejudiced against women who have had things handed to them (or males). Anyhow...ideas. Throw them at me!

HAHAHAHA... I'm game. Or, umm... Marguerite is. Shall be interesting to see how these two meet and what their relationship will be like. What say ye? Marguerite is a world famous French Actress who is in NYC as the lead in the Broadway production of "The Wicked Lady". She's not totally full of herself, but she is witty and beautiful. She'll welcome having female friends. ~Lady B

I say yes! Well, would Marguerite be likely to commission Helen to do a sketch or painting of her or of the musical? That's the only concrete idea I have right now unless you have something else! Feel free to respond here or just PM me! =)

Hey Julie! I’ve been remiss! All my babies are available to you. Here’re some plot ideas: Helen/Peter – Of course we’ve sorted this out, but if you have more you want to thread, just let me know! Helen/Zander – These two hit me as polar opposites and I’m not sure how they would interact. Zander wouldn’t remember her name, and Helen would probably have the urge to punch him after he tries to spend lavish amounts of money impressing her, haha. They both love coffee, so maybe they run into each other at the Starbucks or something? Or Zander could have something commissioned for his office. Or he could just pop by the bar and pester the crap out of her, but he’s a good tipper so she puts up with it? There’s a lot of possibilities! Helen/Siobhan – Helen and Siobhan definitely should be pals. Siobhan is from pretty humble roots, but she’s managed to find her way up to the top in the world and she’s self-sufficient enough to keep herself there. She’d like Helen, seeing a lot of herself in the younger woman. As for what they’d do...Siobhan runs charities that could commission some of Helen’s work, seeing as how her charities are set up to help lower class women in NYC. That’s one idea, I’m sure we can come up with something more concrete! Helen/Sunny – Sunny’s...special. He doesn’t really get what he should be doing with people as a species and so far he has yet to interact with a female on the board, so I don’t even know what to expect from him. He does like to hang around the police station, so perhaps she gets ‘babysit the eccentric author’ duty for the afternoon? That or Sunny likes to wander and pretend he knows exactly what’s going on, even if he doesn’t have a clue, so if there’s some place on the board you want to try out, feel free to suggest it! Anyways, like I said, they're all available to you! If any of that peaks your interest or you have ideas, I'm more than open to them!

Tens!
Helen/Zander – I don't think Helen would spend the money to go to Starbucks because they're coffee is...bleh...and overpriced to boot. However, I like the bar idea because it's something I haven't played out before. Helen would find him attractive in a physical sense but pretentious and unattractive in every other way. It would be amusing for sure. You do the starter whenever it suits you and PM me with the link? The bar she works at isn't particularly fancy, but it's known for it's wide selection of rare beers so it's a beer snobs kind of bar and popular at that (of course, they also serve liquor).
Helen/Siobhan – I think Helen and Siobhan would get along swimmingly after Helen original judges her silently. I like the commissioning idea. We'll save this for after the current Peter/Helen thread and the Zander/Helen thread.
Helen/Sunny – We'll keep this on the back burner when my mind is ready to think about it!! Like it, though!

Hey Julie, Helen/Zander: I can definitely start the thread! I don't know how great my internet access will be over the next little while, but I'll do my best to get it up in a timely manner and PM you a link! As for the other ideas, great back burner things to think on, so I'll leave them there! Have a good one!

-Julie Marguerite would DEFINITELY commission Helen for a lovely portrait! I know that was done in the old version with Merle Oberon. I'm more than game for that! And yes! Helen could be commissioned to do art for the production. :: thumbs up!:: I'll PM you nevertheless. ~Lady B
