Angel walked through the park, it was one of her favorite places to go. Everyone there seemed happy. It was such a beautiful area, and the people you saw were so different. Angel felt relaxed there, it was where she went when she wanted to breathe. She watched someone talking on their cell phone, tilting her head she laughed. Too funny she though to herself, I could never have one of those.
Angel Continued walking through the park. It was a beautiful day and she felt so much joy. Earlier that day she realized that someone stole the one hundred dollar bill that she won through a scratch ticket, but she did not care. It was too nice of a day to worry about that. She twirled as the wind blew, and took a fall. Her heel broke and she landed on her butt. All she could do was laugh. "Only me!" She said with a smile on her face.

He hadn't had much luck in the park, which had bothered him. It seemed like he wasn't having much luck anywhere lately, though he wondered if even the people that had money were holding onto it more tightly now-a-days. If he had money, he knew he'd hold onto it as well.
He turned the corner, eyes trained on the ground until he heard the sound of laughing. Lifting his head, his eyes focused on Angel, who was currently laughing on the ground. A slight smirk crossed his face as he moved, walking up to Angel. He held out a hand to her.
"And here I thought you were graceful."

Angel, still on the ground, noticed Roger standing above her and grabbed his hand. As she stood up she began to wipe the dirt off her butt and adjust her wig. "Honey, did you see that fall?" She said with a friendly smile, It couldn't had been more graceful!" She looked into Roger's eyes, he seemed upset, but then again she could never tell how that boy was feeling.
"I am so glad you're here!" She said as she hugged Roger, "I have been going nuts looking for people to talk to" She noticed she ripped her tights on her upper left thigh, she didn't mind though. "How are you Honey?

"I just saw the landing. Missed the execution." Roger replied, returning Angel's hug with a smile. "I give it a 8.7." He moved, wrapping an arm around Angel's waist as they walked, looking over at Angel as she asked how he was. He figured that Angel would find out if he was lying right away, so he chose his words carefully.
"Oh, I'm cool, baby. I'm cool." he paused, and then felt himself shrug. "I think I'm gonna go back to Tompkins Square. Central Park's giving me complete shit in the way of flow. I mean, the tourists are nice sometimes, but...I don't know." Taking in a breath, he let it out in a sigh. "Even the rich people don't give a shit about the poor people as much as they...sorta did in the past. Might as well go back to familiar ground." Roger replied honestly to Angel.

"Well I give it an 11!" She said with a smile.
As Roger began to talk, she knew something was up. You're cool? She thought. What does that even mean? She listened to him carefully. She always felt bad for Roger, he seemed so confused all the time. As if he never knew what he was going to do.
"That's the best part of Central park baby!" She shouted as she ran ahead a little, "So many tourists, but we live here! We're the big shots compared to them! She did another twirl and landed it perfectly and with elegance. An older woman looked at her with disgust and held her children closer to her. "See, she is not from New York." She laughed.
Angel saw a bench and made her way over to take a seat. She patted the spot next to her, telling Roger to come take a seat next to her. "Come on honey, tell me what's bothering you..." Angel had a great instinct and knew when people were feeling certain emotions truthfully. She always told herself she could make a great psychologist, but believed the job would be too boring for her to handle.

Watching as Angel twirled, Roger couldn't help but laugh at the drag queen twirling around in the middle of Central Park. The older woman caught his eye and he watched as she cradled her children, almost as if Angel was going to reach out and snatch them. He shook his head silently before he turned his attentions to Angel. She moved, sitting down and Roger sighed out, following to sit next to her. He moved, resting an arm over the back of the bench as his eyes followed the people walking through Central Park.
"I had a fight with Mark a week ago. I mean, we're talking now." Roger replied before Angel could ask whether the two were speaking. "It's just--I mean, we've had our fights, you know. We fight all the time, ask Collins. We've had our punching matches, but...I don't know. It's like it's just all coming down at once. THe thing with Mark, with April, with my mother. My mother wants to come down, too. That's another thing." Roger lifted a shoulder in a shrug. "And on top of that, I still can't get a job. I'm tired of Mimi being the only one to bring home money. I don't want to just...sit around like my father did. And I tell this to Mimi and then like, we get into a fight about it."
What was it about Angel that made Roger able to just...open up? Let everything out? Therapeutic was hardly the word for it, but it was the only word that came to mind. Out of everyone in the little group of Bohos, Angel was the mother that held the group together.

From the distance, Mimi noticed a sea of color sink to the ground quite abruptly. She furrowed her brow and gasped, zeroing in on the figure who had fallen. It only took moments to realize who she was.
"Oh, Angel" she sighed with relief, a smile playing the corners of her lips when she even from the far position that she was that Angel was laughing. She was okay - no real damage done - except for her heel, probably irreversibly broken. Mimi was about to run over to her friend and offer a helping hand, but someone else beat her to it. A tall, blonde man - unmistakably Roger. The young woman's smile broadenned - it was good fortune to encounter a close friend and her lover at the same time. He helped Angel up like the gentleman he was and they sat themselves upon a bench nearby.
Mimi resumed walking, but as she drew closer she noticed the expression of her man's face was troubled. They were obviously conversing about something personal, not so light. Mimi hesitated and wondered if she should let them alone, just go home and visit Angel later...she stood still for a few moments contemplating this before suddenly deciding that if something was truly wrong, Roger might want her to be there for him.
"Hey, guys!" Mimi called to them with a big grin on her face, arms spread wide open. She'd make it seem as if she couldn't detect anything was wrong at all. Just happy to see them.

"Honey..." Angel said smiling, placing her hand against Roger's face. "You think too much." She gave him a little tap. She gazed at him, looking him up and down.Poor guy... He has been through so much. He can't catch a break.... She thought. "Listen, it is gonna get better." She told him, but did not even buy it herself.
"Roger, baby. You have been through so much. And you have been able to hand it. It will work out. I promise" She smiled. She wanted to give him a good kiss on the cheek but she did not know if he would be okay with that in the middle on central park. So she took her hand and messed up his hair a little bit.
She heard a voice and turned to see Mimi walking towards them. "Baby!" She yelled. "Get your cute ass over here!" She yelled smiling. "Speak of the devil"She said quietly to Roger, winking.

A sigh escaped Roger's lips at Angel's words. "I can't help it. My brain doesn't have an off switch." Roger complained, feeling himself look down as Angel's hand moved against her cheek. He laughed slightly as Angel messed up his hair, though his mood turned more serious. "Baby, look--"
Hey guys!
Roger managed to keep the groan of frustration from his lips. He knew he was happy to see Mimi. He was always happy to see Mimi, even when he didn't want to see Mimi. He forced a smile on his face and watched as his girl moved, walking up towards them.
Well, he thought silently, it wasn't so bad. Mimi was hot, and he knew at the end of the day, she was his. The smile slowly turned to a smirk as he eyed her from head to toe. "Hi, baby."

Angel heard Roger begin to say something as she yelled Mimi to come over. She looked at Roger and nodded, she got the idea that he didn't want Mimi to hear what was going to be said.
"Girl! What are you doing here!" She said smiling "Isn't it a beautiful day!" She stopped herself from going on. She knew she was being to big and it was obvious she was trying to ignore the fact that Roger and Angel were having a deep conversation. "Want to sit honey? You look tired! Here take a seat next to your man!" She said getting up, acknowledging Roger. "You two are too cute together." Alright Angel, time to be quiet. She told herself.

(LOL <3)
Mimi maintained the grin on her face as she saw Roger turn and smirk at the sight of her, no doubt a slightly perverted one. Well, she was a sexy mama, and he always knew that he was her sexy mama. I guess that thought could always cheer him up no matter what - or at least, that's what Mimi hoped.
She chuckled when Angel addressed her - what a funny character, always so cheerful and expressive. You always felt wanted and included when Angel was around and it was a wonderful feeling to have. Mimi felt blessed to have such a great friend, and she knew she'd always be able to count on their bond when times got rough.
"Oh Angel, your ass beats mine any day!" she cried, wrapping her arms around Angel and holding her tightly. "I've missed you!"
She drew back and plopped herself down on the bench between them. "Hi, Rog" she said as she planted a kiss on his soft mouth.
"It is really lovely outside today. Spring is finally here!" she exclaimed. "A great season, one that marks rebirth, growth, color, and most importantly life." The themes that marked the bohemian's lives.

As Mimi sat down, Roger felt a sigh escape his lips as she settled herself between Angel and Roger. "Hi, baby." Roger murmured, bringing a hand up to press against her cheek as she pressed her lips against his. Roger's tongue darted out slightly to lick his lips as she pulled back, and Roger moved, laying his head on Mimi's shoulder.
"It's nice." He wasn't about to deny that the weather outside was nice. "It's not raining, so that's a plus. Fuckin' hate the rain." As Mimi went on, Roger felt his lips shift into a half smirk, moving his head slightly to place a kiss on her neck. "Y'could put that on a hallmark card, baby." he teased, bringing her legs up across his lap, fingers running up and down the side of her thigh. "Then we could all be millionares and get in a big giant Loft in Westport and annoy the hell outta Mr. Muffy." He paused, his lips against Mimi's neck for a moment before he pulled back. "We could stay at those nice hotels that have silk sheets and leave expensive chocolate on the pillows." he paused once more and kissed her once more on her neck, his voice actually contemplative. "I wonder what it would be like to fuck on silk sheets."

Angel admired Mimi and Roger as they cuddled up on the bench. She missed that feeling. After Collins was asked to go back to MIT and teach his own class, she had felt alone. No one was as good to her as he was, and though they were on a "break", she still did not want anyone else but him. Seeing Roger touch Mimi that way, she couldn't help but get a little turned on, feeling a little jealous of what Mimi had.
After hearing Roger talk about fucking in satin sheets, she had to say it... "Oh honey, trust me. It's no different than any others!" She told him smiling. She had been in many different situations when it came to sex, and with her past, she liked to say she had done it all. "Been there, done that" She winked at Mimi.
Angel pulled out a pack of gum from her purse and took a piece, then offered some to Roger and Mimi. "So, what are you two lovebirds up to tonight?" She asked, taking a seat on the cement in front of them.

The conversation picked up, and slowly it seemed that Mimi had melted away the negative atmosphere and replaced it with a wistful, but still more pleasant one. Them bohemians were always talking about the possibilites, fantasizing about what they could have. But Angel remained positive. Hell, they didn't need those things.
Mimi gave a laugh of mirth and wrapped an arm around Angel's shoulders.
"You're right, love...nothing special...sex is sex!" she cried, and with that she looked back at Roger.
"I'm happy wherever location we hump, honest" she teased, kissing his cheek. Angel brought up a very good point...just what were they doing tonight? Again, the possibilites were endless...despite the fact that they often ended up doing the same thing. But you know, that was okay too. As long as they were happy.
"Yeah, Rog, what're you up for tonight? Something spontaneous maybe? Or will we be dining in..." Mimi smirked.

"Sex is sex?" Roger echoed, his voice carrying mock shock as he looked over at his girlfriend. "Sex with me is not just sex, and you know that. It's like, an adventure. Or something." However, she came back from the earlier statement with another, Roger felt himself smirk slightly against her lips. "That's more like it."
Angel asked one of the most important questions of the day; what were he and Mimi doing tonight? "Um." Roger drew the word out, until Mimi chimed in, asking what he was up for that night. "You know what I'm always up for, you really have to ask? Hell, I'm already semi-there." Roger told her, pressing his lips against hers as he slid his hand down against her stomach. The kiss lasted for a few moments, until the sound of someone loudly clearing their throat made Roger frown, pulling away from Mimi enough to look over at the woman and her young child.
"What?!"
The woman gave a huff and walked off, and Roger rolled his eyes. "Fuckin' prudes. Seriously, how did New York get like, infected with prudes?" Roger asked, and then paused, lifting his head up to look at Angel. "Hey! You see Collins you tell him he still owes me weed from like, three weeks ago. I need my drugs. And tell him he still owes me ten bucks and I'm going to start charging him asshole tax if he keeps it up."
Though, Roger knew that Collins was busy, and it actually made him proud that one of his best friends was actually making it. Doing some good.
